I, of course, had to release my wrath with the Little Red Wasp cocktail. Ohhh it definitely had a kick to it. I had to sip it slow. My friend won the gift basket that was filled with goodies. Kendall and Austin, such a fun relaxing event. It was definitely what I needed after my long week! Thanks you Little Red Wasp for having us yelpies there. The staff were very attentive!

They were both very friendly and soothing. This lowered my WRATh a little. Once we signed in, we started talking to existing and now new friends and the WRAth is lowering down even more. We were finding that several friends had had as lovely of a day as I had had. The very attentive and friendly servers brought out our special drink "The Little Red Wasp" man this thing is spicy but I feel the WRath is getting even lower. The homemade pimento cheese and chips oh so very good. The Wrath is even lower. After having a great meal, Egg Salad Sandwich and a Breckenridge Porter, and the wrath is gone. Thank you Little Red Wasp for helping turn a very rough day into a wonderful evening. Kendell, Adam, and Austin, thank you very much for a great time. GREAT JOB AS USUAL.

Heli and her Team amazingly continue to out do themselves at each event!…read more The Yelp Dallas Team totally sold me on Lazy Dog restaurant. I was floored as to how delicious the food is. It was served buffet style, so we were treated to an array of delicious dishes. The buffet included a variety of salads, hot entrees, side dishes, zesty toppings, AND dessert. We were even encouraged to get seconds! Yes, please & thank you :-) At first bite, it was obvious that all of their food {later confirmed by the manager} is made in-house from scratch. The flavor of each dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Everyone at my table raved over each item, even the hummus -- I need their recipe for that hummus. Lazy Dog has a beautiful exterior and interior, but maintains laid back casual flair. The photos of various dogs (mutts & non-mutts) lining the walls are adorable. There is also a patio with live music --- perfect when the weather finally cools. The host, hostess, and staff welcomed us warmly. We were also served our choice of craft beer or wine. My hubby & I are definitely going back for dinner, happy hour, and brunch. Their Sat/Sun brunch menu sounds like some debauchery that I need to take part in.

Just one star for no other Yelpers despite a post in Talk and lots of "Hey, there's a UYE" compliments and even a mention from your CM in the Elite message this week. I don't know if y'all don't do UYEs in this city or it's a Friday evening or people don't want to come to this side of town or maybe you don't like visitors? But I spent the evening by myself, cranking out 11 reviews from my recent time in Saint Louis. Well, not totally by myself. I had sparked a conversation with Stephanie (about Michiganders, of all things) at the bar and I mentioned that I was expecting a bunch of friends to show up at 6:00. When no one arrived by 6:30, she came over and we had a great conversation about travel, about where I need to stop on my way to Waco (Czech Stop in West that I already knew about but also Slovacek's for a kolache) and what it's like driving around the country for weeks at a time and all sorts of other interesting topics. Fun! Meanwhile, still no other Yelpers. So that's one star from me to the Dallas Yelp Community. Sorry, folks. I'm disappointed in you. "Not good." Although this location is alongside the always busy DNT, once you step inside all that noisy traffic and concrete disappears. This is a cozy intimate restaurant with all the windows facing the lush grass and trees in the back. The Yelp event was held in a private room towards the back that is a perfect setting for a wedding rehearsal dinner or holiday party. We were greeted by the always cheerful Ms. Heli and once again, her and the team put together an excellent event. The highlight for me was the cocktails and the super friendly ladies that made them for us. Our favorite was the French Quarter 75, such a light citrusy summer drink. The tenderloin carving station was a real draw for everyone. RC's does steak right. I kept finding myself drawn to the beef empanadas and the ahi tuna bites on flatbread. This is a perfect restaurant for a date night or special occasion. We chatted with one of the servers and found out about their amazing happy hour specials on food and drinks so you don't have to wait for a special reason to dine there. We will be back very soon. Thank you to everyone that worked hard to make this an enjoyable event for everyone.

The vibe is laid-back and always fun and welcoming at Trinity Cider. We had the choice to enjoy our refreshments inside the tasting room or just outside, sitting on their covered patio. I enjoyed their patio despite the heat of the day - a great space to converse with friends! My favorite ciders are berry flavored but I was excited to also have the opportunity to try the others as well. I will definitely be back.

There's plenty of seating both outside and at the bar inside, so you can find a spot to sit easily. The owner, originally from Washington, shared how he grew up surrounded by apples and brought his love of cider-making to Texas. Out of all the ciders I tried, the Granny & Cideboob (watermelon cider) was by far my favorite. The flavor wasn't overly sweet, and you could really taste the quality. I can't wait to return to Trinity Cider again in the future!
