All I needed was to wait to file my case for another 2 months. From there, I opted to cancel his service and I only got partial of my payment. He and his team (Megan) lacks communication. It takes weeks for either one of them to get back to you. Megan had all my paperwork all wrong. More than half of my claims were missing for the filing and she says "I didn't look through all of them." What am I paying you for?!? Would NOT recommend their service.

Hearing all the buzz on making sure you have a Trust in place; but also hearing of the nightmares with the court system when you DON'T have a Trust in place, I KNEW I needed one. So I searched and called McKenna Koepke of Blackstock & Barsell in Walnut Creek. This office has plenty of parking which was a plus for me. It is located very close to Whole Foods in Walnut Creek. I was greeted at the office door with a welcoming smile and immediately proceeded to meet McKenna in her office. She went through the Trust procedure precisely and in a way that I understood it; not confusing me with all the legal words/terms. She answered all my questions and gave me plenty of time to ask them all; and there were a lot. Indeed it was a very easy meeting full of education and knowledge. I knew right away that I wanted McKenna of Blackstock & Barsell to do my Trust. McKenna also promptly answered all my after-meeting telephone questions that had popped into my head later when I got home and the week after. I said yes to her doing my Trust and the ease it took to come to the final paperwork was astonishing. McKenna is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, tentative, expeditious and organized. AFTER TRUST FINALIZED AND FUTURE: McKenna is a hands-on person! Every time I call her with questions, she gets back to me promptly which is a rarity these days. For instance, I had a question about something I heard on the street about Power of Attorney and she quickly called me back and updated me. Was referred to Vanessa by a consulting attorney due to issues that could not be resolved by…read moremediation. After having a consultation with Vanessa she sounded very nice and compassionate about helping me. She very strongly recommended to file an ex parte order which I agreed to as I trusted her judgement. Fast forward a few weeks later to when her law office filed the ex parte order, she couldn't be in court because she was to busy so she told me Lorena Garcia would be able to be there for this upcoming court date. If not she said it would look bad if I waited for her to be available. Ever since then I never heard a word from Vanessa, she was the one I wanted to be working with originally, but it felt as though she had no time to deal with me or my case and just pushed me off to someone else. She should have been up front about this from the beginning instead of handing me over to Lorena. When it came to the actual court date Lorena was not good, very soft spoken and did nothing! She said she was going to bring up all these points to the judge but literally said 2 things and was done. After court when we were talking she even went as far as to say I should "Look up my husbands ex girlfriends to see if I could get information out of them and get them to write a statement." Why would I ever do that?? This is the advice that you give me? This place does NOT care about their clients, they only care about making money off you! After court I told Lorena that I wanted to drop the ex parte order. She then proceeded to charge me an extra $3K when she specifically said she could not work on my case any further. The one thing I asked her to do was to drop the order and she did not do it! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY DO NOT GO HERE!
