I sent 3 hairpieces for repair and adding of hair back in May 2012 and was promised a turnaround time of 6-8 weeks. I service clients who have hair loss due to chemotherapy, alopecia and other hair loss so time is of the essence. I was given excuse after excuse as to why it was taking so long to return the hairpieces. After months of waiting and upset clients who had already paid, I was referred to Chris the manager. It is now January and I am just now receiving all the hairpieces back. I had to send them back prior as the hair I sent to be added was not and the repairs looked like a child did it. dealing with this company has been a complete nightmare. I had to pay money out of my pocket to replace hair and accomodate clients during the long wait of 8+ months. After so many failed attempts I am through with this company as the repairs are still not satisfactory. Do not do business with International Designs aka Metropolitan Hair unless you want to waste your time and money. I rate this company at zero stars and I am reporting them to the better business bureau. All I got was excuses and empty promises.

After consulting with a dermatologist, I was advised that SMP should never have been performed on my scalp . When I first submitted photos of my head to Tayor Perry . He should have identified that I was not a candidate for the procedure. Before any work was done, Taylor Perry, also should have recognized that I was not a candidate before Mr Perry cut it and started with the SMP procedure. There appears to be no medical screening process to determine whether a client has, or other conditions that would disqualify them from SMP. Based on my initial photos and the in-person assessment, my condition was noticeable. Yet the procedure was still performed. This has caused me physical and financial harm. . After the pictures I was given a price and told next steps would be given from his assistant. Somehow, I wasn't given the proper next steps the assistant was suppose to email me and send me a paypal invoice for 500.00 deposit. Welp! That never happened, however, I was good with Taylor adjusting his schedule to making time to see me. Taylor presented like a cool guy once I got home to south florida the chaos started. I stopped by the shop taylor was in the middle of a session, he had flown another SMP specialist in town. Taylor assured me he would be able to take care of the job. The problem was Taylor originally quoted me 800.00 for a scar cover, once I met him the price jumped to 3800.00. Taylor spoke about getting a finance credit card to take care of the procedure. on his page so I wanted to take advantage of it. I was then given a time to come back for the procedure. The stress started soon as I walked out, something didn't seem right to me. After being told by him no one ever gets approved for the card, welp he was super wrong because I was. The problem is you should never judge a book by its cover. I was prepared to pay you sir the 1,000 but your used car salesman approach sounded like a lemon car sale. Once I was approved for the credit card the company called and said he didn't accept the money through ACH transaction. Taylor then had his incompetent assistant call me to give me info and nothing matched what he told me orginally. I ended up back in the shop talking with him. I could tell he was bullshitting me, all he had to say was he didn't want to do the job. Taylor lied persistently wasting my time. He wanted me to pay him 1900 in cash to start the job and do the credit thing as well. How does that make sense? You tell me you can apply for a card through your website to get your little referral fee, the all of a sudden you need the money before you start lol BULL SHIT SIR! The assistant then bullshitted me as well lying and speaking out the side of her face. Being from Florida I know the hustle sir, after 4 hrs of back and forth and trips to his shop. He finally stated I should come back at 5:00 pm, once I arrived the shop was closed and he had his assistant text me stating " My guy doesn't want to touch your head, he is finished for the day. We can refer you to Steve G." So sir you brag on IG about being the "King" However, you didn't have the balls to tell me you didn't want to do the job. What a waste of time and energy, your customer service sucks. I had to fly back home to keep me from maxing out because deceiving customers isn't the way to do business. People deserve honesty, not shady business deals and having to work with airhead staff. Please improve on your customer service and hire someone with a brain sir. PS You should never judge a book by its cover sir! You assumed from the jump I couldn't afford the procedure. I wouldn't recommend my dog to piss on you...........Shady Business!

I made an appointment for the Ultimate Head Space Experience this Saturday and I was blown away. Blown away by Merz as a person, her beautiful and clean studio, her care, and her knowledge. As a nurse I have a pretty good knowledge of many health care issues and she recommended several things to help with my horrible scalp psoriasis. I've also gotten laser hair removal as well. Ryan, my nurse and co-owner of the facility, does the HRT. I went to him after having a horrible experience at a different facility. He is so caring and thorough. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and focus on their specific needs. He's also very gentle with injecting the pellets - I still yelp when he does it though as the initial stick always gets me! It makes him laugh though. So glad I can provide him with a little entertainment during the procedure. Sophie does my facials and also did my laser hair removal. She's amazing! I don't even know what kind of facial I'm getting most of the time, but she always knows the one I need when I come in because my face always glows after. I love going to see her. It's like going to hang out with a friend - we talk and laugh and have a great time! All that's missing is a cocktail or two! Stephanie and Dani are the nurses that do my IV therapy. They are so sweet! Love them too! When I come in for the IV, they already know I actively stay dehydrated - I just work so hard that I forget to stop to eat and drink! So they offer me water as soon as I walk in. They're very gentle with the needle too! Really the entire staff is wonderful. As soon as you walk in you're always greeted with beautiful smiles and faces. Everyone is genuinely kind. I truly love it there! It's always a great experience and it's been almost 2 years!
