Allied Universal's Burlingame office is located at 533 Airport Blvd., on the third floor of a commercial building shared by several different companies. The outside of the building is clean, well-maintained, and professional, but the inside feels pretty dated and can be confusing to navigate since many of the offices look alike. There also isn't much obvious signage or company branding, so first-time visitors should pay attention to the suite numbers. This location mainly handles business related to security jobs, including training, registration, guard card and certification needs, onboarding, and other employment paperwork. It's also where you can get information about job requirements and uniforms. The staff is small, but they seem organized and on top of things. This definitely isn't a place to hang out--it's strictly a business office where you come in, take care of whatever documents or employment-related tasks you need, and leave. If you're starting a security position with Allied Universal, this office can be an important stop for getting your paperwork, training, certifications, and uniform needs handled. Overall, the building could use clearer signage and a more updated interior, but the office itself is functional and serves its purpose. read more

Summit Defense deserves the highest of marks. This review is for Tennille Duffy. Her assistant Derek is awesome as well. But Tennille was amazing. If someone were to look at how many reviews I've posted you'll note that I don't write very many unless the service is truly good or just downright terrible. Thankfully, I can say that Rabin warrants a review of the excellent service he provides. Getting out of the Marine Corps and adjusting to civilian life was hard with PTSD. My drinking to numb my feelings and reckless behavior got me into lots of trouble. Rabin could have simply watched as I messed up my life and made a bundle of money off of me but instead chose to help guide me towards recovery with the VA. It took a bit of humbling on my part to accept that I needed the extra help but words can't begin to express how grateful I am for it.
