Francisco said they'd have to reopen the case and he was 90% confident he could fix it. It would normally cost $600 to get the ticket dismissed but since the case had to be reopened, it would be closer to $1k. He recommended I check with my insurance company to see how much my rates would increase and whether or not it's worth fighting in court. I found out the cost was about the same but I'll probably go with my insurance since it's not a lump sum. The fact that he didn't push me to go with him and said I should do whatever costs less is the kind of service I wanted. I will definitely keep him in mind if/when I get into another ticket situation.
