I grew up in a donut shop. My dad owned two Dunkin Donut locations so I know donuts! I dropped off my dog in Covington, LA at Resurge vet clinic for some post ACL surgery physical therapy and headed back north for a two hour drive home. I wanted some coffee and searched for a coffee shop and this place came up. The coffee is nothing special... just Community coffee brand. I ordered a kolachi, jalapeño and cheese sausage. It was good. I also ordered a sour cream doughnut. A very nice middle eastern, I think, owns this place. The mother took my order and told me she gave me an extra donut, a glazed. I think I know why. The sour cream donut was stale.... but let me tell you the glazed donut was the best I have ever had!!!! It was fresh and fluffy with the right amount of glaze. I loved it and I usually don't eat glazed donuts because of the amount of sugar. One of the owner asked where was going and I told them about my dog. They entire family said they would pray for my dog! You can't ask for a better experience than this. I give the place 4 stars but the glazed donuts get 5 read more

Oh my goodness! What a gem of a place! The donuts were just absolutely amazing! Also the donuts holes with filling, iced or just plain were spectacular! Both so fresh they just melted in your mouth! The biscuit sandwich,the croissant sandwich and donut sandwich were just over the top fantastic! Please if you are close to this place don't pass it up! You will not be disappointed! Best stuff on earth. I especially love the cream-filled donuts. The dough melts in your mouth, even after the next few days. I drive a good 20 miles for these bad boys and it's worth it. This place knows how to make morning pastries. All are delicious and reasonably priced. The bearclaw is so huge that it could feed a family! And the boudin kolaches are yummy...
