Great beverages, great view. We stopped here while passing through the area, and we were glad we did. I got a golden latte, and my husband got a coffee. Both drinks were delicious. Service was quick, despite the long lines. The patio was great and we enjoyed the view for a while before continuing our drive. I would definitely stop here again.

The view is great, but the service is not so great. It was very hard to see the counter to order, due to all of the books, and the choices are very limited. The employees just looked at us without speaking and the latte was just okay. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy the view, it will work.

It's likely a wonderful place to sit and have you coffee but I'll have to rate based on my specific experience. I ordered a Large coffee which was $4 plus the tip I added. Then they handed me my coffee snd it was smaller than 12oz and they didn't even fill that tiny cup up all the way either. So based on the amount I got this was the most expensive per ounce I've ever gotten. I'm out of town so they won't have to ever worry about seeing me again bc I'll never stop here anytime I'm back in town again.

Always a pleasant experience when I stop in here, for coffee, lunch, or to pick up a book! The staff is always friendly and patient. They have tons of specialty coffees and teas, and a small menu of solid sandwiches for lunch. Ingredients are always super fresh and tasty! They have seating inside, an upstairs and a patio outside. There is a great selection of books available too, making it a cozy atmosphere!

Such a gem! On my top 5 coffee shops I've visited in 2022! It's a small cozy coffee house with a mini book store/library in it. Such a vibe !!! Great staff and super friendly. The place is so well taken care of and maintained. One of the prettiest coffee houses in the coast. They do have inside and outdoor seating.

We had late afternoon coffees here and returned the next morning. It's in a great spot with good views of the water. Service is prompt and the coffee is well brewed. For breakfast we tried a quiche and a breakfast croissant. We loved the integration of the bookstore.

This place is a gem. We stayed in the coast for almost 2 weeks. I had such low hopes for coffee options that we brought our own bialetti and Peet's. I know, super snobbish. To be fair, I was right about the town we stayed in (Waveland). This coffeehouse bookstore makes excellent espresso, tasty bites, and an excellent selection of cooks. We don't typically buy kids books because my toddler gets so many hand me downs. I bought a few just to support this amazing store. The staff is incredibly kind. The seating area was ample and cool. The staircase entertained my toddler for at least 5 whole minutes. Will be back!

Roadtrip stop on our way back home and what a pleasant surprise! Not only were the coffee/tea options super innovative and unique, the breakfast biscuit was incredible. Even better than all of the above however was the service...Cody is exemplary. The young man was beyond stellar. Polite, sweet and such a gentleman. Took the extra mile every step of the way with us. If you stop in, make sure you tell Cody you heard about how great he is and make his day the way he made ours.

Ask the Community - Cat Island Coffeehouse

Can you order the cold brew coffee unsweetened, or is it premade?

You may order unsweetened. It is not premade.

Do they offer free Wi-Fi, and is it a place I would be able to get work done?

There is WiFi, but they do not have the seating, and are very busy, to accommodate guests who wish to work for more than a few minutes.

    Do they have WiFi?

They do! I worked on my laptop last time I was there.

Is there outdoor seating and are dogs allowed? Thanks!

There is outdoor seating. I've seen dogs outside at the tables, but I'm unsure if they're allowed inside.

I found that out as I was exiting the train via their website. I was pretty disappointed, since there were literally no breakfast places around and the train drops you off at like 9am. I even asked the customer service person at the exit of the train, and nothing. Bay Saint louis would make bank with a 7 day a week breakfast place. Anyway, we came here regardless of no food to get some wake up juice. There were so many flavors and different combinations to try, let along the alcohol coffees. So, I decided on the Belfast Brew. It had Jameson in it and Irish cream. It was sooooo pretty when it arrived! Like a dessert! We sat in the couches and just chatted, very relaxing and no rush to be anywhere. There were a few people here so I can imagine it probably much busier later in the week. I have thought about this coffee many times since I had it and I wish something like this existed in New Orleans. It really was one of the best 'Irish coffees' I have ever had!
