Well this is the 2nd time I've had an appointment and they didn't have me on the schedule. I used to go here but the dentist there had blood shot eyes twice and seemed like he was high....I commented on that at the desk. Well then he moved to Texas and this clinic got new dentists. It's not a local dentist office. It's a chain that rotates people through. Lately the dentists have been the same but you never know who your hygienist will be. I quit and went to another office, but Covid hit and that office closed. When I had a crown break off and needed emergency dental care no one would take me as a non patient. Summit Fair took me back in after pleading my desperation. After looking in my mouth the dentist told me how important I be seen and do something right away. She and her hygienist that day were very kind and helpful. Open and honest. She did a great job. Her name is still on the door but I've never been able to get an appointment with her since, and I've never seen her there. Today not only did they never call and cancel, they also didn't have a hygienist in the office. The last cleaning I had was pretty rough and I have had a lot better people do the 6 month cleaning. They also tried to push two more crowns. I might need one, but why does it always seen that they are selling crowns?? Oh and magically after I put it off, they sent me a card saying they were having a sale on discount crowns. Today they wanted me to reschedule, but I already took off work to be here, why would I risk a 3rd time with them but having me on the schedule?? read more

Went to Summit Fair. Needed extractions & partials. Paid out of pocket. 4 visits & $4500 later, lies & shoody dentistry sent me to another dentist due to extreme pain with my remaining front tooth, upper rt. After extensive x-rays & review by Dr. K, he advised there is a large infection around the entire front, upper rt. tooth & the upper front left front tooth shows signs of hair-line fractures. His recommendations were for them to be removed & a New Upper Partial. The x-rays are Obvious. The Dr. at Summit Fair, did Not see or diagnose this or advise me of this. This Should have been recommended & done the first time I saw them. 4 visits & $4500 later, here I am. in pain & looking at more than an additional $4000 to Correct the Summit Fair Doctor's work. At the time of my last extraction, cavities were to be filled. The Dr. even stated the visit before my last, "Since you will be numbed up, we might as well do that at that time". Their Office Staff did Not schedule that. Now I am in pain, suffering. This was Not the first time their Office Staff or (I assume the Doctor), had failed in there job responsibilities. Examples follow: *Lower partial was manufactured incorrectly first time. *Office Staff Not following up for appointments. *Office Staff Not Scheduling needed care. *Office Staff stating 2 different amounts of cavities. First they stated 6, then 5, then told it would. cost me an additional $1500 to fill them. *Not seeing the Infection & cracks in the 2 front upper teeth. *Not recommending &/or removing the 2 front upper teeth & manufacturing the New Appropiate upper partial. * Not seeing that 2 of the 5 cavities are Not in need of attention since they are minimal stains on top of the enamel. Thus there are only 3 cavities that need attention. I am a Veteran without dental insurance. I am retired on limited income. I paid my bills in Full each visit. $4500 later I have a partial that will be no good, pain from frt. upper gum and painful bone spurs from extractions. I asked they consider refunding me the cost of the Upper Partial or contact me and arrange to make the necessary corrections to the 2 front, upper teeth and New Upper Partial by performing the work yourself WITHOUT Cost to me after the Infection has cleared. Three Weeks later No Response. Be Warned. Shoddy dentistry. Unprofessional Office Staff. read more

Some years ago, my regular dentist retired. For better or for worse, I went to the dentist that took his place. He was nice, but I questioned his work. For example, I had a fracture in a tooth on the top right of my mouth due to an old filling. The tooth needed a crown. The tooth had constant pain for about six months and came and went even longer after that. In reality, it was probably about two years after the procedure before I felt comfortable eating on that side again. And I was told the pain should go away in three days. Then I had a bridge on my lower jaw that needed to be replaced. There was some pain on that side before the diagnosis so I was not surprised. The work was done, and of course it was not cheap. But I still had some minor pain from time to time with one of my teeth under the bridge. But that dentist never pointed out any other issues when I went in for an exam. Eventually I stopped going. The barbarian of a dental assistant he had was very forceful and hurt me more than once when doing just what should have been a simple cleaning. Time got away from me and it turned out it was about a year since I had last seen a dentist. Well, I knew I needed a crown on a second tooth that had a fracture. I knew it would be expensive, but I was ready to get it done. I was not about to go back to that dentist due to the inferior work he did. Instead, I went to Dr. Silverstein. I needed the crown, which I knew. But that tooth under the bridge? It needed a root canal. Given that tooth started hurting before I had the bridge replaced, I wondered if there were any early warning signs that could have avoided that. But it was what it was. And Dr. Silverstein was glad to give me a referral to see a specialist to have the root canal done with the alternative treatment of the GentleWave Procedure. Somebody else reviewed that she was just about selling services you don't need. Quite the contrary! She could have refused and made me go under the drill to make a few bucks off me, but she puts her patients first! And the second crown? Well, I had the procedure done earlier today. Given I still need the permanent crown put on, maybe my experience will change. But I can honestly say that hours after the procedure, the pain I felt is pretty much gone. I even ate by mistake on that side earlier (I was told not to) and didn't even experience any pain. Unlike the previous dentist who I suffered for TWO YEARS after he did his procedure. I have no doubt this it the right dentist for me, and I am glad I found her! read more

I went in because a chunk of one of my rear molars chipped off and I wanted to get it fixed before the nerve was exposed, and also get established with a dentist (having recently moved to the area). Things seemed great, staff was nice, dentist nice as well. I've had great dentists in the past, and was hopeful. But I've also been to dentists that seem to just keep selling you services you don't need. This is what happened at Summit Fair. They capped the tooth with the problem, but weeks later the tooth next to it has become sensitive to cold (never was before). In the meantime I now get bombarded with unwanted fliers in the mail, e-mails and text messages informing me about the latest treatments on sale that month. I'm still in the search for a dentist that I can get established with and feel comfortable with in the area and hoping I can find another great one like I have had in the past. read more

This office is inexperienced, and unprofessional. People scheduling appointments have no idea what they are scheduling appointments for, and can't answer basic questions about services. The office is not comfortable or experienced in crowns and veneers. Staff has communication issues. You get what you pay for. My recommendation is to see a true cosmetic dentist that has training and is confident in their work. read more

I had to have my first ever root canal done a few months ago here. I was scared to death because I had heard all the horror stories. The staff was very reassuring with me and very patient and understanding. As for the procedure, it couldn't have gone better. I did have one moment of pain but Dr. Kennedy immediately stopped and administered more medicine which stopped the pain automatically. Is it expensive? I don't know, isn't all dental work? I can just say with 100% certainty that the staff is top notch and i would recommend anyone go here. read more

These people are fantastic! I called around the afternoon before with a dental emergency and (understandably) no one could get me in. Some places couldn't get me in until next week! I called Summit Fair Dental and they got me in first thing the next morning! They were super nice (their receptionist, Ruby, is a doll) and professional. I didn't take great care of my teeth when I was younger and am paying for it now but they never lectured me or talked down to me. Everything was explained clearly and they were conscious of my limited budget. I visited this office a little over a year ago as a new patient. I had moved to the area and needed a new dentist. Everything on their website looked very professional, so I decided to give it a try for a regular cleaning. When I entered the office everything seemed great. During my visit the staff was extremely friendly. However, some things added up after I left. The first thing was that I got a call for my visit saying they couldn't verify my insurance. Now that's not too unusual, but it's important for later. I got everything squared away with that. Then during my visit they took every single xray they could. I've NEVER had this many xrays taken for any visit, even when I still had my wisdom teeth. They also informed me at the end of my visit that I needed a full mouth deep cleaning (priced at $1000 that also maxed out my insurance for that calendar year, which was in late November) and almost all of my dental work (some very recent) needed to be replaced (priced at several hundred dollars). After I left and gathered my thoughts, it seemed to me, that they were attempting to perform all services to max out my insurance. Before allowing all these services to be done, I decided to get a second opinion. I called my old dentist in my home town and scheduled an appointment. I talked with the hygienist about all they had recommended and brought in the pricing sheets so she could see which work they thought needed to be redone. I had also stopped in and signed a release requesting my xrays be transferred to my old dentist, but they never received them. However the hygienist could see from my insurance how many xrays had been taken. In her opinion, there was absolutely no need for that--especially since they had sent all of my xrays from the last 8 years to them. She also said that I absolutely did not need the "deep cleaning" and that I only needed 3 areas worked on (as opposed to all the rework Summit Fair had suggested). I have since continued to drive 3 hours back to my hometown to get my dental work done. In my opinion, they seemed to be milking my insurance for all that it was worth. I am responsible for the copays, so that's also milking me for my money. I think they saw a naive, recent graduate that they thought they could pull one over on. I would not recommend them to anyone, simply because I can not trust what they're telling me. I will also reiterate that they were extremely friendly, had a nice facility, and did not seem inexperienced to me. My opinion is solely based on the honesty and trustworthiness of the business and its employees. read more

May have dodged a bullet here... Called on a Thursday morning. The person who I was speaking with didn't identify himself, so I assume he is the receptionist. I explain that I had broken my tooth and needed to see a dentist as soon as possible. I wasn't in pain, at the moment, but wanted to take care of the problem before it got worse. He takes all my information and lo and behold, I can be seen that day! YAY! I was so excited, because my normal dentist couldn't get me in until Saturday. So I set the appointment and go back to work, making arrangements to leave early to get to the appointment, which was scheduled for 3pm. Around 10:30am, I receive a call from the Dental office. The woman I am speaking with explains that I had spoken with earlier was in fact part of their Answering Service (he never notified me of this) and that I couldn't be seen at the time he gave me. She assures me that they can get me in-NEXT WEEK! She goes on to say that I should be fine, given that I'm not in any pain. Given that they had yet to see me, I don't understand how she could make such an assumption. Needless to say, I was quite dumbfounded with all of this, and quite glad I had not yet canceled my appointment on Saturday. Maybe they should consult with their 'Answering Service' on the times they are able to have appointments, and perhaps have them state that they are the 'Answering Service' up front. read more

Just needed routine cleaning and checkup. Dr. Silverstein provided one of the most thorough cleanings ever. Rather than immediately push for further work, she just suggested watching a tooth. Another dental office was quick to want to fill it because they weren't able to find anything else to make money on from me. Dr. Wolniak is one of the best dentist I have ever gone to. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. He has a steady hand and is very gentle. He tells you step by step what is going to happen and makes sure that you are okay throughout the procedure. One of the best things about Dr. Wolniak and his staff is that they are friendly, intelligent, and very professional. This exceptional care and attitude toward dentistry is refreshing, and makes me smile just thinking about it. read more
