I was referred to Dr. Brumit by my periodontist for a root canal evaluation on two of my back…read moremolars that were seriously compromised by gum disease and fillings. I was in considerable pain, however, the thought of a root canal sounded both painful and frightening. But ... not at all ... no pain or discomfort during the procedure (other than the numbing shot) and nothing afterwards that I couldn't control with Advil. Dr. Brumit is a very kind and professional man. Until now, I didn't even know what an endodontist was. He took the time to explain (and explain again!) my options for my teeth. He gave me the options and probabilities, both of which helped me decide my best course of action. I really appreciated how patient he was because I just wasn't getting it at first. His assistant made certain I felt comfortable and safe, checking on me multiple times before and during the procedure. Very friendly receptionist greeted me immediately when I arrived. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Brumit if you need this type of work performed. And p.s. ... he's a dog lover ... just like me.

Was referred to Dr Mullins then told she was unavailable due to overbooking. I was given to another…read moredentist in the office Dr Lau. I needed a oral procedure and needed a PA for the procedure. First I was told by the dental office I had no insurance which they knew better I'd been a patient for at least 3 months by that time. Then when I reached out to my dental insurance to check I was told a claim was put in incorrectly as if I already had the procedure done. When I contacted the office about this the office manager Christy told me it was entered incorrectly. So instead of offering to fix their mistake I had to call and find out why and then call back to have Christy to resubmit the PA request. I then asked to speak with Dr. Mullins 12/15/25, 12/31/25,1/5/26,1/8/26,3/5/26. Not only have I not been called back by Dr. Mullins but now I have been turned over to another dentist for my procedure because now Dr Lau has obligations at UMKC dentistry now. Incorrect insurance information, Incorrect PA submitted, lack of resolution, Critical communication breakdown, or just plain Ghosting.

After the consultation, I learned I didn't need a root canal--despite having seen two other dentists who said I did based on X-rays and scans. Their equipment is hands down better than most dentists', or at least far more thorough. I didn't think a root canal was necessary because my tooth rarely hurt, only after eating when something got caught in the cracked tooth. I asked for a consultation, and we came to the conclusion that I didn't need one. The staff is very friendly, and I do recommend them. The only downside is that you have to pay upfront, and insurance reimburses you afterward. You need to have the funds available at the time of service.

She didn't have time before I was leaving town for several weeks and set me up with Dr Anderson. In 60 yrs most amazing experience ever had from a dentist. Deadening in 8 or 10 places & not even a twinge! Then he took off old crown without a tray full of that nasty goop for an impression. He did the work and then used a camera to take 3 d picture of everything to design a new crown made right there while waiting. No temp crown, no second visit with more shots to deaden. I can't tell you how amazing everybody was! Incredible!!!
