One year ago I obtained glass lenses in southern CA for $179 while providing my own frames. It took 1 week. Today I picked up an updated prescription here of glass lenses in my frames for $250 insurance money, plus $154 paid at the time of the visit, plus $56 paid today. The cost difference staggers me. The comment in the office was that prices go up. I will find another provider in the future.

I was…read moreovercharged for mine; they called to tell me they overcharged me and refunded the money, but I would need to come back in and pay again. I went back in the next day and paid a second time. My husband went in to pick up his glasses two weeks later and asked them if they knew when mine would be in. They said I hadn't paid yet. My husband told them that I HAD paid. The lady said that no one told her so she would have to put a rush in then. When I was told the glasses had come in, I went in to try them on. I couldn't see out of the left eye at all. The technician said there was no way they could be wrong. He then called his supervisor. I was told the prescription on the lens was correct and I had to come back in for another exam when a Dr was there in case something had gone wrong with my vision. The day I was scheduled for a second exam (3/7/22) I got a call and was told they messed up the prescription and would have to get a new lens made. I expressed my frustration, told them to just cancel the order and asked for a refund. They said they would have the correct lens cut and be ready by the end of the day. Got a phone call that they had fixed the prescription, but I was told there was a scratch on the lens. I could come pick up the glasses, but would need to come back to get the new lens put in when it was ready. I told them that was the final straw and I was done. I told them I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund for the glasses on 3/7/22. I was told they would have to contact the owner. I got a call from customer support and told them everything that had happened. They said they would have to tell their supervisor and I should receive a call by Friday 3/11/22. I finally recieved a call on 3/17/22, letting me know that the owner said they would NOT be refunding me. They would instead give me a new pair of fitted sunglasses, and they would fix the lenses on the other glasses. Are you serious?!?? I don't want anything from them now, except a refund for the glasses. I have stated numerous times that I'll pay for the exam, but I don't want the glasses. They were just reading glasses. Nothing I need full time. I am now beyond frustrated at this point. I don't want the glasses now, as every time I look at them I would feel frustrated again. Just give me a refund for the glasses.
