They said, while I don't have to replace them right now, I should consider it in the next couple months. They were quoting me around $1300. I only drive this car about 4k miles a year. I had heard good things about Mavis and decided to drop in on a Saturday to ask them to look at my tires. The manager was able to come outside and look at my tires. He said, yes they have minor cracking but nothing urgent. He asked about how much I drove the car, etc. I also have run flat tires (it came with them) and he said - based on how I drive and how much, that I probably shouldn't replace with the run flats. That I could save some money, also, given how little I drive it. I don't need super high mileage tires, as they'll rot before I wear them out. He said, as much as I'd like to sell you tires right now - I'd be doing you a disservice. I SO APPRECIATED his honesty. I told him when I do need new ones, I'll definitely come back to them. He told me come back in about 6 months so they can check them again. I asked for a ball park on a full set of tires and he told me maybe $800-900. I was just really impressed with their honesty and integrity. I will be taking my car there when it's ready for new tires. They also do all kinds of repairs too. Once I'm outside my warranty, I'd definitely consider them for service.

They don't raise the car up. They walk down steps to go under the car to replace the filter. They tested my antifreeze. Checked my air filter - but no hard upsell. They checked my other fluids also. It was VERY interesting to watch Tristan and Seth work as a team. The friendly banter made it more interesting. I got to observe someone doing their complete job! The manufacturer's recommendation for this car is 10,000 miles, but I will change the oil around 6,000 miles to be safe. The workers were really good, but with one exception. Upon leaving, I noticed that the sticker showed a mileage of 3000 miles higher. Then I called to say I was disappointed with this low 3000 miles, to get me back much sooner. I feel that it is deceptive as I later called to state this with their corporate office. I was told from them, that the 3000 miles is to simply check and top off everything, not to be used as the date of changing oil. The guy there had already told me that I could come back anytime for a tip off. I thought they were very efficient and will be back, but I will change the sticker to 6000 miles. I was also asked which of 3 grades of oil that they would use, which is a way to get a more money as well. Again, a little sneaky to offer these options. I'm sure their cost for oil is very low as they buy large quantities. Buyer beware!
