Beautiful birds outside locked in cages the entire day. Their seed cups were less than to be desired and I saw no sign of fresh fruit or veggies. These parrots are highly intelligent and being abused on a daily basis. I hope a rescue can come in And take them. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. Do not support this store!!! read more

do not support this shop, the less than 2ft wide cages for the birds out front is so immensely sad to look at. the physical ware on these birds shows, as they're showing blatant signs of heat exhaustion like panting, swaying around, and holding their wings out from their bodies. *the audacity to hold a box for donations in name of the birds?* the owners should feel deep shame. as for the content in this store, it's a run of the mill overpriced beach attire/souvenir shop. anna maria island was a great day trip, but this store did throw it off course. never fuck with animals read more

I was the first customer in the store and I didn't get a warm welcome like in other stores. I saw other yelp reviews and saw such cute clothes! I love life is good and this place is a gold mine. I got an adorable shirt with a bird and foot prints on the back. However there were no more sizes that I was searching for it was a bit hard looking through the sizes. I understand customers love messing up shelves though so totally understandable since they just opened. The birds however were very loud and a bit scary at first! read more

The service is friendly and efficient. There is a little something for everyone in this store. I can't get past the sad life of the birds housed out front. I won't support this business until they figure out a way to release these beautiful creatures to sanctuaries. The birds don't deserve the constant harassment by ignorant tourists. read more

The store has about half a dozen birds locked up in tiny cages in front of the store. The birds are being displayed and kids are trying to touch them and screaming at them. One bird was so stressed out that he was plucking out all of his feathers. This is inhumane and not okay- I reported it to the county. Will not shop here until the birds are re-homed. Come February 2024, a new USDA regulation will go into effect where space for flight will be required. Do NOT support this shop. Animal cruelty is a no, and their prices are outrageous anyways. Straight up display of animal abuse right outside the birds are in too small of cages with pigeons flying around them able to spread diseases to them. Some are missing feathers from stress and harming themselves. As they try to sleep people walk up and startle them awake their water is filthy. I wouldn't give them a dollar because of the lack of animal care on display. Steer clear and keep reporting. read more

It is such a joy to run into nice and honest folk. My wife and I were riding through Santa Maria Island when she got a flat tire. We walked into this shop to see if they could help. Sean was so pleasant and laid back, fixed the tire in a few minutes and charged a very nominal fee. Saw him deal with other customers and was very honest in all of his dealings. This was the second shop we checked and much more impressed with this place. Don't let the cluttered gift shop discourage you from renting bikes or canoes. read more
