I made the mistake of having my carpets steamed with water only because I was worried about it bleaching the areas I had pretreated. I should have let Sun Carpet do the entire process and after speaking to the owner I realized I made a mistake. From beginning to end, Sun Carpet will take care of you. I called to make an appt and expected to leave a message on an answering machine, imagine my surprise when I got a live person. I was given a quote with pet enzyme treatment and was quickly scheduled. I was even given the Yelp discount without having to check in. On the day of my appt, I was texted 15-20 min before they were heading my way (as promised). And imagine my surprise when I came home (my mother in law was home for me) to a freshly cleaned carpet and rug. I was so impressed with how clean they got it. It looked pretty darn close to brand new. Kelly was also super generous and threw in a Christmas discount on top of my Yelp discount! We did not deserve a Christmas discount. Updated - a 3rd positive experience. They were good communicators, arrived within minutes of the stated time and did another wonderful job for a fabulous price. I was impressed from beginning to end. I have a lot of kids and pets and did not know how much I needed this. They offered an arrival time early in the day, they called to confirm they were on their way and they were early. The prices were what I was quoted over the phone. They were able to get out large set in stains from the aforementioned kids and pets. Right on! The gentleman and his assistant were here maybe an hour or so and left a very helpful bottle of cleaner for the next spot left by kids and pets. Very nice. The rooms look nearly new! Just waiting for it to dry ... Updated to reflect a second positive experience with pictures. We had to have it cleaned again because I missed what it looked like before! I really wish I didn't have to post this the people are super sweet. However, the quality of the cleaning is not. I was told 20mins would be sufficient for my 3 bedroom house. I was skeptical but trusted the previous reviews of how the 20 mins would be enough. After the first initial cleaning I called them the same day- I was concerned the carpet looked the same just now wet. She came back and sprayed something on the carpet then had her worker use this scrub brush thing. I can say I spent 175 for that and today I had to schedule someone to redo our carpet another 250. In all I really wouldn't recommend if you have pet treatments that are needed at least in my case ( some of the higher traffic areas also looked dirty like a brownish dirt color. read more

Very happy with my Sun Carpet service. We got all our carpets cleaned along with couches and they cleaned out my dryer lint trap (it really needed it). I texted Sun Carpet's contact number they have on their website TWO days before Christmas and they responded within an hour and were offering to come out December 30 to avoid the beginning of the week rain (something I didn't even think of and appreciated they were thinking of their customers). I ended up scheduling for January 3 and they were totally accommodating. They confirmed my appointment the day before and texted me, in the morning the day of, when they were on their way. Rob and Josh showed up and were the absolute friendliest (they even loved on my dogs). Rob explained everything he was going to do, I walked him through the house and showed him a couple of concerns I had, and he and Josh were in and out in 30-40 minutes. I heard Rob explaining to Josh where to treat extra and how he could tell where dogs had been or where high traffic areas were. These people definitely know their stuff. Called to get a quote about getting my couch cleaned, since my 3 dogs completely trashed it!! Since it was a holiday weekend, they weren't able to fit me in until the holiday had passed, but I was totally okay with that! Rob and his helped showed up right on time, and got straight to work. They informed me of each step they were going to take, and Rob made sure to keep me updated throughout the entire process. Although they weren't able to get every single stain out, they definitely tried their hardest. The couch is beige, so I knew this was more than likely to happen. Rob also told me this was a possibility when he first checked the couch, so at least I was prepared. 15 minutes later the couch was fresh and clean, and that nasty dog smell was gone! He even offered to give me a discount (but I had already purchased the Yelp deal), since he wasn't able to get every stain out.
