DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. they accepted the repair of my vehicle that had an aftermarket bumper. they put a new bumper on but it looks horrible(wrong bumper? Improperly repaired mounting points? Idk) There is a 1&1/16 inch gap between the bumper and fenders. They then proceed to accept payment from the insurance company (5800$) and then release my vehicle In the state that it is in, along with an email explaining that they don't plan to do anything else. No alignment was done on my vehicle. Parts are missing and were never ordered. This place is full of people who want to point fingers at each other rather than just doing what needs to be done to make things right. I have to now fight with this 80 lb bumper in my driveway with 6 injured disks.... after you bastards have been paid almost 6 grand. There was no attempt to reach out to the manufacturer to see what can be done about fitting correctly, this whole thing was just brushed off and it's obvious you don't care. now I am fighting with insurance companies and the body shop itself and it doesn't seem like there will be a solution. Ever. I feel robbed and taken advantage of, and I hope your business dies because of the reputation you are setting forth for yourselves. This site was on Liberty Mutual's approved list so I hoped they would be good, they were great. They gave an estimate, took the car right in, even though it was drivable, and had the work completed in one week which i really needed as I was going on a road trip. Car looks great! They took me right down the street to enterprise car rental, and at the end of the week, enterprise brought be back. Regular updates via text/email too. And a post work survey. They truly care. Let me start off by saying how disappointed I am with their service. The paint started peeling off my mom's car and then Toyota sent out a recall notice about the paint peeling and they are willing to pay for the paint job. My mom and I took her car up to Sun Toyota Collision Center and waited for about a week for them to finish. When we got her car back, they did a TERRIBLE paint job. My mom found several places on her car where the paint job was incomplete and they left scuff marks in the cab of her car, leaving it dirty. We had to take the car back again and talk to the manager about this. Speaking of the manager, their customer service was TERRIBLE! They had someone check on my mom's car and when we ask her simple questions, she would roll her eyes and clarify her answers in a rude way. After we took my mom's car back, the manager's manners were no better off. He seemed pretty agitated when we brought the car back and told him everything that happened to my mom's car. It seemed like he didn't want to deal with us. The only good thing that came out of this place was them cleaning the inside of the headlights because they got fogged up. This whole thing happened during the COVID-19 pandemic so I can understand that the job has gotten a bit more complicated. But it should be no excuse. If you want to get a paint job done on your car, I highly recommend you go to a different body shop. One that takes pride in their work and offers good customer service. Enough said. read more

Some nut hole rear ended my car on I-275 ended the zero accident record I hold for the last 9 years! Where is that superman when I need him? Luckily I have Sun Toyota Collision by my side. I took my car to Sun Toyota collision in the morning. Since insurance company has already assessed the damage and gave an estimated cost, I only need to sign few papers to let the shop fix my car. During my waiting time there, I just observe how they handles other customers. It seems their procedures flow well. Customer makes an appointment first; then bring the car to the shop; A staff is assigned to customer to assess the damage and give an estimation; Customer decide whether if to take the next step. During my waiting time, there were 3 customers handed their damaged cars to the shop. Their staffs are friendly and know what they are doing. They also answered all questions I raised. Their parking lot are fulled with cars for service. I guess they do good business. My car was fixed and ready for pick up in a week. I am pleased of their workmanship. read more

Horrible. I bought my car new. After they worked on it, there were fasteners missing, my battery was not secured in its place, there was buff marks where the repair was. There was body filler on my paint. Working with the office was no call backs, they weren't responsible for this or that, just nothing but BS terrible service. My advice to anyone is to work with the body shop that does the body work for the dealership you bought the car. read more

This was the worst collision center I've been to in my life!! They kept giving me the run around for 10 day shy of a month and then I took my car uncompleted and waited another 8 days . When my car was in there care my console was damaged, they nicked my paint when they took off the trim "they said it was already there" and I notice a dent on the right side of my car . Not sure if they did it or not. I pretty sure it wasn't there. Hence my complaint. They put my back wiper blade on backwards! Who does that!!! Nevertheless, they replaced the console. Had a low speed collision at a stop sign less than one year ago; sun toyota had the car for two weeks to repair/replace the rear bumper,trunk lid, and a cracked light. The paint job was obnoxious (paint runoff, debris embedded within paint, imperfections every inch you look). Still had a dent in bumper. Had the surprise of plastic clips literally spring out of trunk the first time opened. Noticed a bolt hanging down out of place on undercarriage cover, further inspection revealed they had broken the plastic. Even noticed a very oddly shaped dent in drivers door that appears as if they had attempted some degree of repair. All very disappointing but we had the car back and didn't want to bother with it. Well less than one year later the poor paint job began to literally fall off the car; unacceptable and pathetic obviously so we called our insurance. Sadly sun toyota collision center took the car the next week to fix the issue. 6 days later we get a call saying the cars ready. First noticed the paint job is still pathetic (bubbles and debris throughout), drive down the street to notice we now have no turn/brake light (too difficult i guess to reconnect such an important safety feature). We also now have a nice new deep scratch running diagonally on the exterior side of drivers window. Final conclusion is they provide lazy pathetic work (not just once, twice even on a return due to poor work) and will cause extra damage to your vehicle. Ive had much nicer work done at maaco. Please stay away and if you have no choice pay very good attention to your vehicle before and after, if they are consistently doing this to my ride it's not a fluke. They begged and begged for only a 5star review the first time, gladly decided not to review until now. read more

Unanswered phone calls and emails. The insurance paid almost 13k to fix the car and I was told my car was ready and there is 10k additional in things needed to be fixed and after I was told your car is ready and clearly was not. Now suntoyota wants 10k more to fix a car that they said was fixed and that they didn't see these damages. I have been without a car for four months now and I have children that i foster with special needs and no car. I have been pushed around enough. Suntoyota did help me out with a rentak for a few days but a rental for four months has costed me $960 a month. Now they are saying that they can't guarantee the work so the insurance should total it but they won't tell the insurance that. It's just keeps getting fishier by the day. They should have never fixed it if they couldn't. Now I have a 47k car that I pay for and still a has 10k bill that no one wants to pay. read more

"Dishonest dealership" Visited Sun Toyota dealership where I leased my Tundra from to have an odometer disclosure statement filled out by them on advice from MidFlorida credit union as I was obtaining finance from the credit union to buy my lease (2017 Tundra) out early. Well the employees were dishonest several times. The first lie was that I had to purchase the vehicle through the dealership as they owned the car, well that is incorrect the leasing company owns the car in this case Southeast Toyota Finance. I verified this through Southeast Toyota finance with one of their representatives. The second one is they are supposedly seeing about filling out the odometer disclosure statement, well they're not doing that but putting together a finance proposal. So Darren brings this out to me to my surprise after I told them I was financing through MidFlorida. Then upon examining the document I notice they are trying to charge twice for sales tax. Southeast Toyota Finance gives you a payoff and they clearly state that this amount includes sales tax of x dollars. Well they put down the amount including the sales tax as the payoff for the vehicle then added sales tax on top of it. Whose pocket do you think that goes in if you don't catch it? Then they try to charge you a 995 redelivery fee, really! give me a break. Once I found out that I didn't need anything from these people I got up and walked out. If you are buying out your lease early you don't need anything from the dealer. You simply print out the odometer disclosure statement and fill it out and obtain financing from your bank or credit union. I recommend your local credit union and they will print that form out for you. Don't get ripped off by these people charging ridiculous redelivery fee and higher interest rates, etc. Better yet don't lease a car in the first place it's the most expensive way to operate a vehicle, there is no law with leases that says they have to disclose the interest rate and you can bet it's in the double digits. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Sun Toyota in Holiday Florida. Watch Dave Ramsey on youtube about buying a car and car leases or better known as fleeces.
