Trash is picked up almost every day,so no trash is left behind, doggie park is available and so is a play area. there is a pool but covid has it shut down for now, which is understandable. There is also a gym and covid also has that shut down. No biggie though, because you can walk around the complex. It's a nice size and you can exercise plenty. The hospital is near and so is shopping at HEB and an elementary school that I went to as a kid....Treasure Hills Elementary. This place is right for any size family. It would've been nice If they would have like saran wrap tinfoil a sharp knife or at least a knife that would cut a watermelon, seasonings besides salt and pepper maybe beach towels &beach chairs. literally the only thing it comes with is plates cups silverware salt and pepper and coffee filters 4 of each bath towels and face cloths and towels. It's quite a hike to the dumpster to throw the trash away the garbage bags they supply are so cheap that they breaks very easily so it might be worth bringing your own garbage bags! The kitchen was infested with little tiny ants that you couldn't leave food on the kitchen counters for one second everything had to be scrubbed down before you meal prepped! With all of that being said I would definitely go back and most likely will! I would just come more prepared!

Never mind the fact that we never received the email containing the rules prior to our arrival, because my mother-in-law's email address was recorded incorrectly in their system. Never mind that my family has been staying here for twenty years and this is the first year it's ever been a problem, no matter the day of the week. The office should always have access to the housekeeping supplies at any place with an open office to serve its patrons; at any multi-unit hotel or complex I've ever stayed, this is the most basic of service offerings. Marie has completely soured our impression of this place. Thanks to Gina and Gilbert for being dependable and kind as always.
