At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.

But then, all of a sudden this "Travis" guy (which is the only number available or contact to work with) completely ignored me after multiple calls and texts over 4 days. No reply. Completely ridiculous & unprofessional. Good luck or just stay away.

My experience with Travis at One Choice Detailing was horrendous…read more After the auto detailing was finished, the inside of my car looked okay, but definitely not worth paying $ 240, which was the price he charged because of excess surcharges. He claimed that my car was dirtier than the average car, but I had vacuumed it myself a few days before the job and had had the exterior cleaned at a Mitsubishi dealership 4 weeks prior. My car was definitely not dirtier than the average car. He also claimed there was a vomit substance on the floor which was a covid-19 biohazard that "put [his] life on the line," which on one hand was a bit theatrical, and on the other hand was not true since no one had thrown up in my car. The price that was agreed on was $149.99 as base price but I was charged 176.00 base price. Then he added further up-charges of 48$ for additional cleaning. Nevertheless, Travis didn't mention a word about this and sent out the invoice without informing me about any of the surcharges. In my opinion, Travis was not transparent and his game is to nickel and dime you to add up-charges to the price listed on the website. Even if your car is relatively clean, Travis will make sure to find something to bring up the cost, which in my case was a 90% increase versus the quoted price. The service was okay, but the fact there was no transparency, his unspoken up-charges, as well as the fact that he avoided talking with me after the fact (he left my keys under a stone) have all led me to give him a failing grade on this review.
