Had a windshield replaced by Haas about two years ago. 20+ yr old vehicle so they're a little harder to find. Got prices from a few businesses incl chains (at least one told me they couldn't get the windshield). Thank you to Yelp for helping us find Haas Collision and Glass. Their website states "we are committed to delivering customer service that is second to none." That is exactly the experience we received from Hass Collision and Glass. We unfortunately were the recipients of a distracted driver who rear ended us at a stoplight. No bodily injuries thankfully however the bumper on our car wasn't as fortunate. After some Yelpsearch, I was very impressed with the reviews from Haas Collision and Glass. I contacted them for an estimate and was asked to bring our vehicle by. This happened to be a cold winter day when we arrived. I believe it was Patrick came outside to greet us. Took pictures of the damage and a picture of our VIN number. We never had to get out into the cold. He told us he would send us an estimate in a few days. True to his word we received our estimate. Hass worked with the insurance company for the individual that hit us. We scheduled a time to drop off our vehicle. A few days later when we picked up our vehicle, I have to say it looked like a brand new vehicle. The bumper looked perfect. Overall a great experience that did deliver customer service that was second to none. FYI - I did not receive services from this shop, so my review is based on my brief interactions with them. I have a vehicle that is an extremely popular target for a certain group of idiotic young criminals based off a social media platform that has been growing out of control. One late Friday night, two teenagers with nothing good going on in their life, tried to get into my vehicle but upon failing, decided they should at least smash out the back side window. This makes me so angry. Believe me, I was wishing unspeakable things on them. A pox upon their houses!!! Most repair shops are closed on the weekends. It really sucked. I think I found maybe 2 that were open on Saturdays. Unfortunately, Yelp decided it would be helpful to send out an inquiry to several shops (that were closed) without my permission. Haas Collision and Glass was one of them. Patrick from Haas replied rather quick and he was kind, personable and sympathetic--asked if I was okay, gave me more info about what those teens were trying to do, etc. He really cared about what had happened. Even though their shop was closed on Saturday, he offered to help put plastic over my window (did I mention, on a Saturday?) if I could swing by. What. An. Angel. I had to decline though. Despite his kindness, I didn't feel right accepting his help on a day that he should have off and I don't want to burden such a kind person in any way. It was just a window, and I had a black trash bag to cover it with. Patrick and I exchanged a few calls. My window would be extremely difficult to find due to its popularity--I get it. So he referred me to another place that might be of help sooner. It IS winter, after all. I got my window replaced quickly with another business through sheer luck, but I wanted to come back here to sing praises about Patrick. The world needs more kindness and he supplied some. This place takes care of you and does a hella good job taking care of your car. I looked for a place to fix my bumper after getting hit by a deer (thankfully we're all ok) and as soon as I got on the phone with Patrick I knew he was a genuine person and not trying to rip me off. And he didn't. My bumper, side panel, hood, everything looks good as new. They even gave us a free rental car when the job went over the estimated time. However, my husband noticed that one of the seals on the roof was missing and when he inquired of that, they said they had forgotten to put it on but didn't have the part....good thing my husband caught that. They said they would give us a call back when they get the part in but it's been 3 months or so and still no call. Just remembered because Yelp reminded me to write a review! We brought our 1987 Jaguar XJ6 to these guys after a referral from St Paul Automotive. Patrick and Paul both went way above and beyond for us. They dilligently searched for parts over a period of several months until they found the quality they were looking for and redid the entire body at a very reasonable cost. Our car was totalled from being broadsided by another car and forced into the rail, but these guys brought it back looking like new. We were thrilled. I was completely blown away by the service I received. I drove up one day and showed them a bumper that I wrecked by crashing into a snowbank. They gave me a reasonable estimate and told me to come back the next day. I was happy to learn that they could fix it in just a few hours. I dropped it off the next day and got a call about 20 minutes later saying they had fixed it; and because it had been so much easier to fix that than they anticipated, they weren't going to charge me. It also had something to do with the fact that their credit card machine wasn't working, but I thought that was incredibly generous. I brought a check and paid them something anyway. My back glass shattered from the cold and I was thrown for a loop. I called Haas on a Monday morning right when they opened, and they were able to repair the glass by Tuesday before work. They are extremely fast, thorough, kind and thoughtful. This is the second repair Haas has done on my car, and they are the best auto service I've ever had. Haas Collision & Glass St Clair Ave- Very disappointing/scheduled a repair a week ahead of time and they don't do the work This is what happened at Haas Collision & Glass. I guess getting work for a $450 repair did not matter to them. 1/18 - Went to Haas Collision & Glass to have them review repairs. It was replacing a headlight and windshield. They said they could do the work on Thursday - 1/24. 1/21 - Called to confirm the 8:00am appointment on 1/24. Yes. 1/23 - Called to confirm the 8:00am appointment on 1/24. Yes. 1/24 - Took time off work. Went in to get the repairs done. They don't have the part, or maybe the part is coming on a truck- they don't know. They can't do the work. Maybe tomorrow, maybe not. They don't know. The person at Haas Collision & Glass said 'I take a lot calls during the day so I am not sure about scheduling' I also asked if the could call the truck that was delivering the part and they said no. Very disappointing to schedule a repair a week ahead of time, call twice to confirm, show up and they can't do the work and they don't have an answer on when they can/or even want to. read more

My RAV4 had some minor front bumper damage. After looking around, Haas gave the lowest quote out of all the others for replacing the front bumper cover. Not only did they finish the replacement faster than expected, but they actually performed the work under the amount that I always quoted for! Pretty awesome. Patrick inspected my damage and suggested potential options for recycled parts to minimize cost as I was vacillating between insurance and paying out of pocket. Once I found my car mirror had been creamed. It was recommended that I go to Roering on Dale. They take down the make, model, year, and out pops an invoice for around $750. Then I thought of Haas on St. Clair and Hamline. I go in give them the same info, a little over $200. I almost fell over. $500. saved isn't cornflakes. The nicest staff. They don't take advantage of you because of your sex or the make of your car. I saw a man in a parking lot , and his car had some damage, I went up to him and told him about this honest and fair body shop. I'm glad I can tell an entire audience now. read more
