We have had several repairs done by Latuff, and every one has been a stellar experience. When you walk into their office, it's a very low-key environment...but don't let that fool you. They are amazing professionals who know what they are doing. One of our repairs was to repair vandalism that resulted in damage to the front roof pillar. They took the time to repair the damage and maintain the structural integrity, and when they painted it they blended it seamlessly. When another vehicle had damage to the liftgate, their work was just as stellar. Being in a particularly brutal part of the car for Minnesota conditions, there was an issue with the repair. I walked in, chatted with their Estimator and showed him the problem. Will was wonderful to deal with, and to my utter surprise they performed warranty work without any hassles. I remember standing in the office of Latuff Bros, after the estimate had been done, and thinking: "...Wait, that's it? I can go home? You'll take care of everything? Isn't there anything else I have to do?" Dropped off my car to have the door fixed after an idiot had swiped it with their car. Robert looked over the damage, explained what would need to be fixed and the process, printed out the estimate for me and gave me an ETA of 9-12 days. They were familiar with dealing with my insurance company and even had a rental from Enterprise ready for me. It was a very smooth experience. Their secretary was warm and kind and I felt taken care of. My previous experience with another auto body place had been a nightmare (Bonfe's) so I had been quietly gearing up to do all of the paperwork and communication, but nope--Latuff took care of everything for me. When someone side swiped me this winter, I was very annoyed and disappointed. I haven't lived in Minnesota long, so I had no idea where to take my car to get it fixed. My insurance agency suggested Latuff Brothers, and I chose to take it there because it was convenient to my work. Boy am I glad I ended up at Latuff Brothers! Their extended hours (open bright and early at 7:00 but sometimes they're in the office earlier!) means I could drop the car off, get an estimate, and get to work on time at 8:00am. Enterprise Rental Car is right next door, which is super convenient! Robert even worked with my insurance agency to get the repairs started right away. I just dropped off my car and he handled the rest. Accidents can be super stressful, and Latuff understands that. They'll bend over backwards to make this process easier. So I entered their website, downloaded their desktop APP, followed their instructions - taking front and side photos of the damage, etc., and submitted my request. I want to write a good review for this place, but I just can't. Their staff is very professional and nice, but repair-wise, I had a really bad experience. I took my car in for an estimate, and brought it back a few weeks later when I could afford the (expensive) repair. I got a call that their estimate was wrong, and that they had missed the fact that I needed another part- which bumped my total up another $80. Ok, that stuff happens. No big deal. Just fix it and let's be done. I had called two weeks beforehand to schedule the service, and I was very clear our three phone calls that I needed to pick up the car right at 4:00 and be out of there. I was assured multiple times that it would be ready at 4:00. Fast forward to pick-up time. After 30 minutes in their waiting room while they were "vacuuming" the car, I said I really needed to go. 10 minutes later, someone strolled in with my keys, and I left. Later, I realized that the repair was not done at all, and they were buying time to try to finish it while I waited. Here is the thing: NOTHING WAS FIXED. I gave them pretty much all the money I had at that point, and I quickly realized all the issues were still there. (to be clear, my car issue was with the drivers door, locks, and window being stuck shut, so I was still trapped in my car and had to crawl in and out the passenger side. I could get in, but not out.) I called them, told them I was coming back, and they told me they'd fix it right away. Mind you, I had already PAID for the labor that they DIDN'T DO. Interestingly, they thought they could just complete the repair while I waited, which raised the question as to why I was charged so much for labor when they clearly didn't do anything. Long story short, they got me a rental car and it took an extra FOUR more days for them to fix the issues I had already paid for, so in total they had my car for SIX DAYS before it was fixed. It was ridiculous. Points for them: They did pay for my rental car and they were very nice, acknowledged their mistake, and reassured me that they'd correct it. They did vacuum the car, which is a nice touch. I think the issue is not with the Latuff brothers/office staff, they are actually really nice. I think the issue is with their shoddy mechanics slacking on the job, and a lack of oversight. read more

I recently brought in my 2004 Chevrolet Impala in for a repair. The car is obviously old and had a few dents and some minor rust so I wasn't expecting the repair to be perfect. When I went to pick up the car, I was completely astonished. As a former vehicle Detailer, I couldn't believe what I saw. Not only was the paint match perfect and the repair flawless but the tires were dressed and the entire car was buffed out.
