We were blessed to have Blendi as a the recommended photographer for my wedding venue (Wedgewood Sterling Hills). My husband and I opted for the engagement photo shoot and having 2 photographers for 6 hours at the actual wedding. For the engagement photos, my husband wanted a rustic field look...we gave Blendi a google pin drop location, and she had went a few days before to scope out the land and figure out the best photo spaces. The day of the engagement photo shoot, she was on time, professional, and fun. I absolutely hate taking pictures but with her, she made it feel so relaxing. The end result was beautiful. She sent us a booklet of pictures and a USB drive of all the originals (touched up). For the wedding, Blendi and Laurent (sp?) were amazing. I just received my photos back and they were able to make magic. I had some issues with my family members and Blendi was willing to play "bad guy" in order to get the shots that I wanted. She was super creative and had an eye for a perfect shot. Most of the time, I didn't even know she was there...but regardless, there were beautiful shots. She was able to get amazing shots with the short amount of daylight we had. She was tactful and professional. We received our flash drive 3 weeks after the wedding and I am so happy with the result. 6 stars if I had 'em. She is quick, while simultaniously easy going. I was able to get about 600 pics, from 2 hrs of work! ( because she did pre wedding, ceremony, then post.) The best part, was that my wedding party had 20 people, so she said, "it would be about an hour shoot, based on your party size." The best we have all ever looked... Maybe it was just a bad few weeks for her but definitely disappointed. I asked for a beach engagement shoot and she wasn't going to even take us down by the water! She also gave us no direction whatsoever when we asked for it. I have so many photos with awkward poses, hair in my face, and terrible lighting (which you can tell was from editing). i can't recommend sun dance enough. They shot our wedding in March 2011 and did a great job. They have an awesome style and were very professional. We mainly dealt with Blendi, the owner, and she was awesome. She was one of the shooters along with another woman. They were both great. Our wedding was very memorable and the great photos we got from Sun-Dance will keep those memories alive forever. They took a bunch of photos and we have them all on CD along with a really nice book. We should have paid a lot more for the great service we received (that means we received a really good deal). Sun-Dance is a must for your wedding.
