I just love this place. You get your market cart outside before you enter. Be prepared. The store is small and tight. But, once you get inside you will not be disappointed. Let me tell you that strawberry containers were on sale for $1.79. I'm loving it. Employees have never let me down. I walked out only spending $43.00. I had everything from peaches, nectarines, green grapes, red grapes, two pineapples, cantaloupe, green onions, bananas, eggs, cherries and even green apples. I am prepared to make my fruit salad for sure. Even picked up a bag of spinach also.

There is a nice selection of reasonably priced produce. They have a large variety of locally grown apples usually starting at .69 lb. I love that they have a shelf and sometimes a cart as well with produce that may be bruised or not as fresh greatly reduced in price. Lines can get long on the weekend but they usually have ample staff to get you serviced quickly.

I have lived in the area for almost 3 years and have driven past this little gem until last Saturday 5/10/14. I am IN LOVE. If you're looking for fresh, non-GMO produce then this is your place. Herbs, dairy (cage-free eggs) artisan breads and fruits/veggies as far as the eye can see. Oh and the price is right (see uploaded pic) I purchased all of my food for $43.00. If you want to eat clean without cleaning out our wallet this is definitely the place!

It's located right in the city of Baltimore under the highway bridge on E Saratoga St. Street parking is free and i guess there is a way to reserve parking in line now. Mercy hospital has also offered free parking in an adjacent lot. The market is open on Sundays for the season and is such a delight. The vendors are very busy but eager to assist. The prices are fair. Need a coffee fix? The local Zeke's coffee is on site to assist! Many fresh foods, plants, and seafood to choose from. Definitely worth a visit!

There's a variety of vendors and many of them allow you to taste their produce. Soul Smoked BBQ being there is a delight for morning breakfast sandwiches. There's something for everyone there with food stands, flowers, produce, honey, booze lol. I mostly come with my husband to get produce but we've also gotten breakfast there and very well thought out pastries. You can get duck eggs sometimes and eggs from 2 or 3 vendors. If kettle corn is your thing, also something to pick up. The openness of the market and the friendliness of the veggies both edible and non is what makes us keep coming back. I've had beignets and oysters all in the same day.

It's right next to the playground at Christian Temple, so it is very kid-friendly! Walk into the parking lot and there is usually someone playing music (often a man playing the accordion) and two rows of stalls. The farmers are very friendly and offer a good variety of produce. Some are reasonably priced, others are a little more expensive than a store, but sometimes that's the price of supporting quality, local, small business! Most of the foods are produce, but there are a few places that sell meats, cheeses, and eggs. In addition to that, there are some vendors who sell soaps, honey, prepared foods like granola, and occasionally someone is selling wine/beer/mead. My son and I like to get pastries from Garrett, the Parisian pastry chef. Daunted? There's usually an info table with people sharing recipes, gardening tips, etc. At least some of the vendors accept food stamps, but I'm not sure if they all do. Short on cash? There's a stall where you can buy tokens with your card and use the tokens to purchase at the stalls. It's a small, but great farmer's market!

There was a fruit stand that primarily had a large variety of apples many that I had never heard of. I took a leap and tried a couple of varieties that were absolutely delicious. I bought some for eating and some for apple pie and cobbler. They also have pears , purple cauliflower, and some other produce. I noticed they have fresh apple cider in 1/2 gallons and quarts. Although this trip was primarily for apples, I couldn't resist the purple cauliflower and some delicious pears. I of course had to walk through and see what other tasty treats and wears they had. If you like Empanadas you must go to the rear of the market and try the large variety of mouth watering empanadas that cater to the meat lover and the vegetarian. Though not on this trip, I've enjoyed the Shrimp Old Bay and Spinach & Cheese. You can also buy them to freeze and have them for later. Another must stop and taste is Cane Mixers. These delicious mixers come in a variety of seasonal exotic flavors like Passion Fruit Jalapeño, and Guava Tiki Punch. Great in your favorite beverage or poured over ice . I didn't buy any this time, but I love mushrooms and they had some of the most beautiful fresh mushrooms I've seen in this area. The price point is also reasonable. They're definitely on my list for next Sunday! I believe new this season is the waffle stand. Can you say I had absolutely no intention of getting any waffles this morning, but when you see the batter being poured on the hot waffle maker and then coming off the griddle stuffed with your favorite toppings..... oooo baby I had to have one. I got one with mixed berry and bacon These waffles are so good you could eat them plain. I also noticed they make a sugar free waffle. I love that option for folks that have to watch the sugar. This market last Sunday is December 18th so you still have time to take advantage of their great offerings before they close for the season
