The farm itself is tucked away on an unexplored part of Old Court Road that I never knew existed. Dennis, the store manager, offered a tour of the grounds where farm animals are raised onsite. Check them out, as they sell meats, egg and other dairy, produce, and the honey I was searching out. Great quality goods that I would encourage you to consider. They're a little pricier than grocery stores, but as we are seeing these days, you get what you pay for.

The glaze on the cinnamon raisin pretzel was perfect for me. My husband tried the pecan caramel pretzel as well as an original, with a large orangeade. What I appreciated most about the cinnamon raisin pretzel was its freshness and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. The original pretzel had just the right amount of salt, which was great. We didn't care for the pecan caramel pretzel much. The pecans were a bit too toasted and it lacked caramel. The orangeade was delicious! The Govanstowne Market manages to shrink that desert each Wednesday June-September with a range of fresh produce, meats, baked goods, desserts as well as craft and educational vendors. The market accepts cash or credit as well as payments such as EBT, WIC, SNAP, SFMNP, etc. In my Junior and Senior year summers at Loyola (the market is in a parking lot on Loyola's campus) I would frequent the market to get my fresh produce, try out other goodies and relax with members of the community. Even now, though it is difficult for me to get there on time as I no longer live in the city, I still try to go back a few times per year to support it. What's better than a local non-profit which helps local people support their local farms & small businesses???
