Sun King Tinting is probably the best place to get your windows tinted. Everyone is extremely friendly and made me feel like I was welcome. They did a fantastic job on my windows. Ive seen no bubbling or peeling and everything is lined up correctly! They made sure I knew all the details before working on my car because I'm not the most knowledgeable about tinting. They explained the process and the cost and broke it down for me so I could make an informed decision. Needed to get it tinting on the top of my windshield an front doors. They did an awesome job. There was a mix up on the appt but they squeezed me in and I was very happy with the job. My Jeep has spots that the sun visors can't reach and bc I've had eye surgery, I get star bursts badly. They put a darker tint that helps me during driving. Can't thank them enough. read more

I've had every vehicle I own here for window tinting, and I've never been disappointed. Prices are good and the work is top notch.

The agency I work for has been using this company for years to tint the vehicles in their fleet. I wasn't sure if it was because they have the best prices in town, if it was convenient or because of the quality of work. It turns out that it was all three. When I got my Tesla my friend recommended them because I am so "particular" when it comes to my vehicle. Travis made me feel at ease and helped me make the right decision about the type of tint that would work best for my needs and the overall aesthetic. All of the staff are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The work is absolutely perfect. Went to sun king when my daughter was born because my husband was very anal about the sun hitting her. That was 4 years ago. Recently I found my receipt after my windows started to bubble. I called and first thing he asked was if I had my receipt and then asked if it was original. Made an appt to get it in and when I got there he took a look at my windows and denied having tinted my back window. He said the tint was too light and it was a shitty job that his guy knew how to cut the tint better then that. He then went on to say that my side windows were freshly done because the back of the tint was still sticky....my passenger side windows haven't been touched since they did them in 2016. He agreed to fix them anyway and when I picked it up he said he wasn't going to get paid because the company wasn't going to pay him because my passenger side windows were double layers and they don't warranty their work on double layers. He tried to say whatever he could in the beginning to try to get out of fixing my windows. We were given a warranty when we paid and he didn't return it to me saying it should've never been given to us in the first place because of the double layers. You would think they would have removed the first layer of tint before they slapped in their tint. I will definitely go to Reno for a tint job next time. read more

Don't trust Google reviews. After reading the google review I was a little nervous about what I was going to walk into.... but it really exceeded my expectations! I met the owner and he walked me through the whole process, talked to me about the laws, gave me his personal thoughts and then allowed me to make the choice of what tint i wanted. He warned me that my dogs hair might get stuck under the window but he would do what he could to keep it out and he DID my car came out perfect and now I booked an appointment for my house! I left my coupon at home and he still gave me the discount anyhow... I appreciate family owned businesses and to see he had pictures of his family hanging and the teams he coached over the years and the donations he gives to the community really made me feel like my money was going in the right hands......He even gave me a ride back to work. SUN KING IS AMAZING AND I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I purchased a beautiful BMW I had driven all the way to a dealership in California to pick up. The car was perfect, other than the windows weren't tinted and they cooked my poor friend in the passenger seat on the way home. The dealership made a big deal about being careful who I chose to tint them, so I called the local BMW dealership for a reference, but the reviews of their preferred company were not as high as Sun King. As I like to support local businesses, I dropped in to talk to Sun King. The gentleman at the counter greeted me with a smile, was professional, and very kind. They were even generous enough to offer me a ride back to work and to pick me up after! I felt extremely comfortable around the 3 gentlemen I met there. They were all extremely professional and friendly. I wear a suit to work every day and as a female they treated me with respect and valued my opinion, unlike some places you find where people treat women as if they know nothing about cars. I felt 110% comfortable just standing in the garage visiting with them while they finished my vehicle. I actually enjoyed it, the time passed quickly, and I felt as if I was among friends I had known for years. I was impressed to see that the owner was also working on my car! They were meticulous in the application and as the weather was cold, they wanted me to be sure to thoroughly inspect the next day and bring back to them if I noticed ANYTHING that wasn't perfect. They were adamant about making sure I was happy with the work and willing to fix anything if I was not. But alas, it was perfect. I really enjoyed visiting with them and the next day I inspected my windows and found nothing but perfection. They are honest people who are extremely professional, friendly, and are insistent in ensuring that you are nothing less that 100% satisfied with the results. I would recommend them to everyone and will not trust my car to anyone else. I will be returning for the clear 3m bra, headlight covers, etc to protect the finish from debris damage.
