The guy who sharpened my skates was top notch, and a great conversationalist. The rink is classic, and the ice was great, even for a fall skate.

The facility itself is great. Lots of space. A gymnasium, meeting rooms, a gym, a couple craft rooms, and plenty more I haven't seen yet I'm sure. It's kept clean and is pretty nice. All the staff I've interacted with thus far has been great, super friendly. The class I'm taking is awesome. It's pottery 1 so pretty basic but I am definitely enjoying it and learning a lot! The instructor Todd is fantastic and really great with everyone in our class. Overall, I'm a fan!

Oh my. That view was the key to my unwinding every week. This is a gorgeous facility! I would argue it is one of Madison's best kept secrets. I had to purchase an annual pass in order to attend the Pilates class, which was really affordable and allows me access to the cozy, lobby space free games of pool, and I'm not sure what else. They also have a fitness center, which operates under a really reasonable drop in rate and is also gorgeous.

Standard rink food for those that need a bite to eat. A lot of birthday parties being hosted so expect a lot of smaller skaters on the floor. They do have a dress code (no short shorts, tank tops, exposed midriffs, etc so keep that in mind as you suit up for your rollerskating adventure.

I wasn't aware of the dress code though. I wore a sleeveless shirt because I knew I was going to get hot. They offered a free tshirt to wear to cover up my shoulders. Wore it for most of the time but it just got too darn hot. They stopped me and told me to put on a shirt or leave. Threatened to call the sheriff's office to force me to leave, but there was really no need because I was too offended at the apparent accusation of dressing like a ho. I was not dressed provocatively... just no sleeves. I left early, with all 4 kids I brought and I'm not coming back until the dress code loosens up a little. It says IN GOD WE TRUST on their sign in front. Based, and I'm Christan too. Jesus told me that showing my shoulders is not inappropriate in a family-friendly setting. They lost my business.

The intimate setting is electric since everyone is so close to the action. When it gets loud it rocks! If this place had AC it would be five stars since those late summer/early fall matches on hot days makes for a sauna-like experience especially if your seats are in the upper reaches of the main seating area or in the upper deck. Other than that it is a fun place to see sports especially given the bargain prices for the volleyball tickets.

Once you walk into the building you are in an open bright colored room with information posted, and it appears your will need to be buzzed into the next set of doors. Upon entering into the rink area to the right in an area to purchase skates and/or skate accessories and next to that is the concessions. Just a couple of steps from the concessions is the washrooms. Then coming back there are tables and just past those is the right. Dj booth is in the front as well. Going straight through the door there are games and moving past those is the prize area and skate rental area. The beverages are over $3.00 and some change each, but they sell the pitcher for a little over $6.00. They offer pizza and snacks as well. We ordered the nachos and fries. The nachos which were good, but those fries, they were so good. This group rented the whole place to enjoy their birthday and is was very nice. Employees were both very kind and fast. They use great colors, bright. Makes it fun!

We had asked about the sizes and she was basically at a yelling tone saying that they don't have that size and rolled her eyes. Later on we had went to the counter to order food and The worker that runs the orders was judging on what we had ordered and rolled his eyes as well and looked at us as if we did something wrong or in disgust. He had said "are you sure you want to order that?" in a inappropriate tone. When waiting for our food to be done. The floors were disgusting behind the counter and where all the food was made it looks like the counters and cooking areas haven't been cleaned. Also in places there were cobwebs and dirt just piling up. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned for awhile now. Everything was unorganized and just disgusting in general..
