After driving it for 2 weeks as-is, I realized the windows had to be tinted ASAP. After shopping around and getting quotes I narrowed it down and contacted them to schedule. Tint Experts where fully booked a week out when I contacted them but it needed to get done so I scheduled and asked if they could call me if they had any cancellations and I could get in sooner. I got my car windows tinted two days later. Now, I was looking for a good quality tint, that would not bubble or fade with time but I was also looking for someone knowledgeable. The back windows have the original manufacturers privacy glass & I didn't want a huge noticeable grade variation between my back and front windows. Gavin was great! As soon as I walked in, he showed me the different Tint grading, demonstrated the heat variation between the level of tints they offer, he listened to my concerns & what my expectations were. Then I personally saw him take extra measures to calculate the rating on my existing privacy glass vs the tint I had picked for the front to achieve a consistent look & grade throughout my entire vehicle. Their tint has a lifetime warranty & I was told that if I replace a window, they will replace the tint, so you're definitely getting the most value for your money & your tint will be covered for as long as you own your vehicle. I called Gavin on a Tuesday and by the following week he was in my home installing the tint. We could not be happier with the results. The drop in temperature in extremely noticeable. He gave me a quote over the phone based on the measurements I provided and the photos I sent via text. It took two guys about 5 hours to do 14 large windows. The pricing was very reasonable. He answered when I called, he showed up when he was supposed to and the work was excellent. Really good decision to call these guys.

I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

I took my Model X in to get the front windshield tinted on 7/31 and paid $688 after tax. I know…read morethat the windshield on these cars is complicated to tint given the size, but the quality of the install on my car was subpar to say the least. Even worse was the customer service I received after pointing out some quality issues. I contacted the shop the next day after seeing that there were some very noticeable light gaps in the tint, as well as some overall shoddy craftsmanship in multiple areas. I had to speak with the shop over the course of 4 different phone calls as the owner, for some reason, was using one of their employees to speak to me as the middleman. After all of this back and forth, they refused to take accountability or offer a reasonable solution to fix their poor work. They offered me 2 "solutions" along with countless excuses as to why the install was up to their standards. Their "solutions" were to: 1) Install a black vinyl stripping to cover the light gaps - essentially putting a bandaid on the issue. 2) Reinstall the tint but the shop wanted to force me to sign a document stating that I would accept the second attempt before even seeing it - giving the shop a free pass to potentially do an even worse job and giving me not choice but to accept the result no matter how good or bad it turned out. A few of their excuses as to why this was a quality install were: 1) The gaskets around the window were too tight and there are going to have to be light gaps. It's "impossible" to get a flush fit with this vehicle. 2) The clarity of the install was great (mind you, I never once brought up any issues regarding this) and they were worried the second job might not be as good. 3) They were worried that debris might get under the film if they tried again. I was willing to give the shop another shot at making things right and reinstalling the tint, but I wasn't willing to be strong armed into signing a document accepting the work before inspecting it again. As the shop did not seem to want to take accountability, I asked them to then remove the film and refund my money as the quality of the job did not reflect the $600+ they charged me. I was then informed that "all sales are final". Horrible job and horrendous customer service. Stay away unless you want to be gaslit into thinking that this type of subpar work is somehow acceptable.
