He explained the different types of tinting so I opted to go with the best, even choosing to have the windscreen tinted. The whole idea is to protect the interior of the car from sun damage. They did a great job and were very professional with the way they performed the service. Definitely high quality and high technology. The completed the job in about an hour. Pricing looked good for the value. I highly recommend this business, in fact I'm bringing my other car in to get the windscreen tinted, as the other windows were tinted at the dealer. read more

Mike and his team were great. I had my 2019 Tesla model 3 tinted just the other day. Their work was exceptional and they gave me a loaner car for the day. They stand behind their work and i hot a lifetime warranty. Because my entire roof is glass the heat can be unbearable (think of a convertible with a top that cant go up) they put a film on it that blocked so much heat the difference was night and day. I will use them again. If you have a model 3, YOU HAVE TO USE THEM!!! The other shops didn't even stock the film needed to do that big of a window. When i picked up my car the owner Mike acted like we had been friends for years. Great experience and a great team. Thanks guys!!! read more

First I attempted to book a Paint protection Film by using the Xpel website, the place recommended was Sun Stoppers at Lake Norman as an authorized Xpel installer, I proceed to book right away. No confirmation call, email or text was sent to me after the the job was schedule, they prefer text since they claim is the fastest way to connect. After 4 days of waiting for any type of confirmation I decided to schedule the job in person since the Xpel site was all handled by automated technology. The local people are nice and professional, I felt a sense of reassurance and decided to go ahead and schedule the job. After scheduling the job all I got as a confirmation was a text, the day before my appointment I called the Sun Stoppers location multiple times at different times and was not able to reach anyone, not even by text message. The place is located over an hour away from my location and I did not wanted to drive all the way there until I spoke and confirmed my appointment. Poor planning, communication and collaboration when the job was over $2,000! If they can't return a call or text, what type of job can you expect at this location? I'm moving on to a different company in the same town and so far the difference in communication it's like day and night. read more

Love my tint, but my passenger door wouldn't open and had to drive back the next day to fix it. After wiping down the inside of my car a few weeks later, I realized they broke off a plastic piece that goes on the inside, by the handle. And this is a brand new car... super disappointed read more

OMG...I have never been blown away with such level of expertise and professionalism than what I received from Andrew and his team of experts. I recently relocated from Texas and had just purchased a new VW Beetle, however I didn't know where to go to have my windows tinted. Had an appointment today to get my small sedan tinted. Had one of the employees come to to look at my car before I handed the keys over to show him a couple spots where previous tint residue was. The guy told me it would be no problem and the guy quotes me a price before I left. I come back to pick up my car only to find out they have tacked on an additional 50 dollars because there was more residue than expected. I was given zero heads up about this, no courtesy phone call or anything. They essentially just demanded I pay 50 dollars more than agreed upon. Bad business practice. Would hesitate to give them my business again. read more
