This is my favorite location of Sun Tan City and I've visited several. They are always clean and their employees are usually efficient. I like that they open at 7am during their peak tanning season, but I do wish they kept this opening time throughout the year. Normally I don't have to wait but I do understand that their corporate practices do cause a wait during their busy times of day. Let me start off by saying this was my first time coming back to Sun Tan City after a couple year hiatus with getting married and having kids, etc. So I see they are having a sunless deal on my app and I have a wedding I'm going to over the weekend so I get the deal--THE SUNLESS DEAL ONLY COVERED MEDIUM COVERAGE not dark. I checked, read fine print, over and over again and Nowhere does it say anything about limiting what sunless tan the deal is going to be on. So I had to spend $45 MORE dollars (on top of the already $30) to get a 2 sunless package that covers dark. Already frustrated but whatever I spend my $75 and head back to a sunless room. Well when I get there this room is DISGUISTING like a big wad of hair or a roach or SOMETHJNG is sitting right in the booth and everywhere is unbelievably dirty. It says the bed was sanitized and the room clean but no where looked like it had been touched in months. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll be back for my second spray bc it was so gross but we will see. Came on a Sunday. Salon was supposed to open at 10. At 10:10 the employee finally came rolling into the parking lot. There was already a line of 4 waiting. Seems like they should be ready to open at the time posted not just arriving and forcing everyone to wait for 15 minutes to get the computers working and the spray beds "primed". read more

Do not believe what they say . they have you sign a black box locking you into a membership when the lady told me that i was signing an agreement about health risks from tanning . Will not issue a refund . charging me $126 for 4 visits . DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I agree no where does it say you have to spend $45 per month more to get the dark instead of medium! Like really dark costs more ? Of course it doesn't it's just a way to scam you and get you to buy those stupid points which keep you confused so you end up paying so much more! At least they got some nicer staff so I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1. Last year everyone in there except like 1 person was horrible. I wish there was an alternative place like this to go to with instant beds and spray tans but there isn't that's why they can treat people the way they do and we keep coming back! The entire company should be ashamed of themselves! Oh and don't even think of going to the bristol one it's 100 times worse! Thanks read more

Sun Tan City was running a special where if you purchase certain products you get 2 Free Spray Tans. Well, my package is unlimited spray tans so they told me I could give the 2 Free Spray Tans to my daughters who live out of town. I spoke to two different women there on two different occasions and confirmed I could give them to my two daughters. They both said yes and that it wouldn't be a problem. Well, both my daughters came in town this past weekend and when we got there we were told that 1) the offer had expired and 2) only I was able to use the free spray tans. I was NEVER told there was an expiration on the offer, not once! And when I told them that I was told by two separate women that I could give the 2 free spray tans away, and that I had asked specifically about that as I didn't need free spray tans because my package there is only for spray tans, unlimited sprays. They just apologized and said I don't know why you were told that and then she continued on to say that they weren't trained correctly there! I've been in customer service for all of my working years and none of this was okay. I have always trained my associates to make it right. And NEVER complain about the company or company standards in front of customers. No one seemed to offer any help in the situation, nor did they seem to care. I've never seen anything like it before. This situation would be a showcase for what NOT to do in my training session for customer service associates. I have since cancelled my subscription there. read more

Kpt location is one of my all time favorites to get my tan on!! Amazing staff, very friendly and educational. Polly, who assisted me, was very kind to me and knowledgable about products I was interested in . Also she knew what was the best fit for me and my skin type. Besides the 30$ price to lay one time being a little high. After my laying, later that night I started breaking out everywhere and the next morning From my shoulders to my feet was broke out. Pretty much everything that touched the bed broke out. The Doc said it was from laying in a dirty bed. I've never had this problem laying anywhere, never even broke out with any kind of body size rash. read more

I attempted to purchase a single visit for an "instant bed". I didn't mind the $35 price at all and was more than happy to pay cash for it. The attendant with the bright red hair continued to push different memberships on me, despite me repeatedly saying that I work out of town except for 7 days per year. When I finally made my point that I just wanted a single visit, she said that I must have my driver's license with me in order to continue with the visit. Even though I was paying cash. Why is my driver's license required if I'm paying cash for a single visit? It was obvious that she did not want to assist me or want my business. I had never been to Sun Tan City and I won't be back to try it out. I will definitely be telling everyone I know about how pressured I was to sign up for a membership and how the attendant was fishing for a reason not to comply with my service request. read more
