Shu helped us select the perfect quartz for our kitchen and bathroom. Because I needed to see a larger piece to truly understand how it would look, she called me within one day and arranged for the workers in the yard to cut a large sample from the slab. That extra effort made the decision so much easier. Emre was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. He gave us an excellent price and took the time to explain how to care for the quartz and how the warranty works. The person who came to measure was also terrific. He suggested several changes that made a great deal of sense and improved the final result. The installers were fabulous. We were keeping our existing backsplash, so I was concerned that it might be damaged when they removed the old granite countertop. They completed the removal with only one tiny sliver coming off the backsplash--and they repaired it so perfectly that you cannot even tell anything happened. Everyone at Island Granite was professional, knowledgeable, careful and accommodating. I highly recommend this company to anyone planning to update a kitchen or bathroom. As we are a distance east of there, was not sure they'd make the trip. But they sent their salesman right out! Our driveway grade was a problem: there was hardly any elevation change from our garage to the street, and different angles were involved. After careful elevation measurement, they recommended installation of a drywell. We decided against that because of cost. They assured us they'd take every step to make it the best it could be, but could not guarantee that some puddling might occur. We decided to hope for the best. The crew came out earlier than expected, and got right to work. Paving machine was used and during the job foremen were shooting levels to ensure the drive would drain to the street. Well, after light, moderate, and torrential rains, our driveway looks great and drains perfectly! Could not be happier with the thorough work that was done, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I got a complete new driveway, front porch and walkway done and could not be happier with the job they did. Everyone who showed up were professionals and did their work quickly and efficiently over a four visit project spanning almost two months. After breaking up and removing the old asphalt, a base layer was put down and then had to settle for 4-6 weeks. In the meantime, we add brick pave edging and had the whole porch done in one long day. FYI, asphalt projects are dicy and depend to a great deal on the weather and tends to throw off the companies schedule. The work tended to drag a bit, but they stayed in touch and when ready, came and did the job to my complete satisfaction. I've worked with lots of companies in the area and Fifth Ave is a top notch firm.

The owner agreed to come by to look at it and was unwilling to hear any of the concerns. He offered to put more sealant on the driveway for an additional fee (over $150) after saying it looked like there was too much sealer on the driveway to begin with. How is this a resolution? They installed our driveway 6 years ago and have been the only company to touch it since. Very disappointed to say the least.

Installed horribly repaired granite countertops in my house and only replaced one small piece. All…read moreof my tops are bad they have epoxy filled holes all over the place. Unfortunately i was stuck at work when they came and installed and to my dismay i came home to my island top installed incorrectly (overhang wrong) and this repaired granite that was definitely not the slab i picked in the yard. The owner thought i was exaggerating so he cAme to my house himself, looked at one small L shaped section and sAid "i don't even know why they cut and installed this". I showed him all of the other bad spots and he said "well theres no way i'm replacing all of this" and that was the end of it. 67 sq ft of granite came in at $5000 that i worked really hard for and i'm left with a lackluster result that stares at me every time i'm in my kitchen. They had my money because i know an ex-employee of theirs and he recommended them. No pride in their work
