It was a time our life was disrupted and things were very hard for my son. He loves art and we tried 29PCC in hopes it would bring him joy and it brought us so much more. We are now living much farther away but make the 1.5 hr trip back for art class when we can. Just last night my son said, "Mommy, I miss Ms. Gretchen!" And I figured it was time to leave a review! Ms. Gretchen has a beautiful way of letting him be him, fully. My son is level 1 autistic, plus very shy at times because of lack of socialization due to a rare disease that keeps him in the house a lot. But when with Ms. Gretchen, none of behaviors are challenging, none of his behaviors need to be adapted - she is so loving and accepting in a way that allows him to feel cared for amd safe. To love and care from a distance in the way that she does is such a strong quiet power and we are grateful to know and to have the opportunity to continue returning to 29 Palms Creative Center. I went there to earn a certificate and I only had one course to go to fulfill the 15 units when they dropped the program. A few years later they brought it back and I was able to take that one course and get the certificate. I asked more than once why they dropped the program in the first place and never got an answer. They had to have a reason and should have just been honest with me. If you can, go to College of the Desert in Palm Desert instead of CMC in Joshua Tree. COD has better instructors and offers more degrees, certificates and individual courses.

The program provides a curriculum that enables pre school students to learn key skills prior to entering kindergarten. My twin girls started at this facility at age 4 and within two weeks knew how to write their names. This program also offers half day programs for parents who need only partial care for their little ones. Knott's sky is by far the best child care facility in the 29 area.

He is very knowledgeable about landscape, sunset, and night photography. He has the skill to work with all levels of photographers from beginners to seasoned photographers. In just a few minutes, he had our group shooting memories of a lifetime! His knowledge of Joshua Tree is second to none. He knows the places where you won't be in the middle of a crowd. For the most part, we had the entire park to ourselves. Casey has also simplified Lightroom editing to a science. These workshops were priceless. In just minutes, we learned how to make our pictures sizzle. It was amazing. No one left without a collection of awesome photographs. His bed and breakfast felt like home. His home is very comfortable and clean. He had everything you needed included an award winning banana bread! We had great and affordable meals for lunch and dinner in Joshua Tree.
