In February of 2019, they were coming loose and Couch reinstalled them. This year I hired a mason to have several others reinstalled that also were loose. Since then, it appears the majority of the pavers on front porch are loose and need to be reinstalled. I have contacted Couch Brick Pavers thru their website contact form twice and also called them & left a detailed message twice - all without even the common courtesy of a return call. These pavers have been down only 5 years and if they'd been properly installed would still be solidly in place. In contrast, not even one of the 900 Square Feet of thin pavers installed in my pool/patio area in 2012 by another company has loosened. Obviously Couch did a poor installation and they don't stand behind their work. 5/29/24 As an addendum to my prior review of Couch Brick Pavers, I'd like to add that Larry Couch sent a crew of four this morning to remedy prior problems I have had. If diligence counts for anything, these pavers should be trouble-free for many years to come. The crew reinstalled those that were loose, totally removed & reinstalled an area that wasn't level with the driveway & that could cause a fall, and finally re-sanded the entire job. They left absolutely no mess behind and the pavers look brand new - thank you, Couch Brick Pavers, for standing behind your work!

Then the owner tried gaslighting us and telling us it was "the color of the bricks and the sealant brings out the dark". But there is no black in the bricks, the black is black mold down in the porous brick that wasn't properly pressure washed out. As if we haven't lived here eight years and had it done in the past properly and know better. Now we will have to have someone out to remove all their sealant, actually clean the patio, and reseal it again. Thanks for nothing. Our experience with Pombos started off very hopeful as our neighbor used them two years back with a…read moredifferent salesperson: From the first conversation with Josh Castillo, we informed him we wanted something very similar to their house. I gave him the exact address, description, and dimensions yet each time he sent us a quote it was incorrect. We specifically said 'no flat roof' since the beginning , he quoted us for a flat roof. We particularly measured ourselves a distance of 28 screen enclosure, he quoted for just the existing lanai at 12 feet. And each time he had to make changes, he made it sound like it was our fault that he cannot get the design right . we asked him on three separate occasions why he is not coming out to measure? He said he can pull up all the information online. We are in construction no matter how small or large the job is. Tile work , kitchen , roof etc all needs in person attention to ensure the job is done efficiently and correctly. We would never and the client to send photos or take measurements for a quote , that is part of getting the job. A Large project of footers, pavers, and a screen enclosure should require the same approach in my opinion. We always meet with the customer. To get a better idea of what the job entails, and to completely understand their vision. Josh refused to do calls for the most part, telling me I had to email him . Looking back at my emails and providing screenshots. I have contacted him back in 2021 when my neighbor had their patio done and he gave me the same lazy approach to Sales - refusing to call us back or come out for measurements . His conversations were short and brief, he may be the son of the owner or a relative. I really don't know nor care. But for the owner reading this review - the entitlement status in this company is what is hurting your business. after the 3rd or so estimate (still was NOT getting our design correct also with a 400% price increase of the exact design our neighbor has) we called the office to request a different sales person ...wanting to give this company the benefit of the doubt. An equally young and arrogant sales manager called and within the first two sentences of me speaking. He interrupted me three times almost wanting to argue. My husband jumped on the phone and said we will take our business elsewhere. Some may have had good experiences with Josh, but from our experience in the construction field he is taking an inactive, sluggish, and HANDS OFF role in sales. And mind you, this is a 5 figure job we are paying for. so we will happily take our business elsewhere, even if we have to pay more for less stress .

Installers and the foreman (who wasn't very friendly or accommodating) came on time and on the date as promised and did pretty decent job overall, with exception of one small, but concerning issue which I'm going to get into next. After the install, one of the vynil gates had a large gap between the edge of the door and the post, taking away much of privacy. When I asked the foreman to fix it, he didn't do anything, mentioning something about vynil needing to have room to expand in hot temps. Expand 1.5", really? Why did my other gate only had ~ 3/4" gap and this one 1.5" - wouldn't the other one also need to expand? Felt like a poor excuse not to fix the gap. Also, the whole experience was very rough with this foreman. I had to convince him throughout the project several times about how I wanted to get the fence installed. He was constantly complaining about obstacles with soil elevation, level changes, proximity of fence to the house, and how they may not be able to do what I'm asking, even though my requests were very simple and common. What was the MOST disappointing though, when I contacted the company by phone about fixing the gap, the lady answering the phone refused to connect me to the owner, Alan. Then, got back to me telling that they won't do anything about my issue. When I emailed the owner, Alan, he didn't respond for weeks. Then, said that he won't do anything to help me. I sent him photos and pleaded to come and take a look and send someone to address. He said he will come by and then disappeared off the grid. I emailed him over the course of a few months, really wanted to give him a chance to resolve this, but he ignored my subsequent emails and I gave up and wrote this review. So much for promises of "lifetime warranty" and all the other nice buzz words on their website. DON'T fall for it! Some people visiting my home asked me to give a referral to company that installed my fence, which I have all turned down and said that I would not recommend them due to poor customer service. Too bad, I had really high hopes for this company after reading other reviews and gave plenty of chances to.fix this problem.
