Finding a skilled nursing facility for a loved one is one of the most emotional and stressful…read moreexperiences a family can face. After my mother-in-law had a fall, she spent a few days at Washington Hospital, and we needed to find a rehab facility quickly for her recovery. We toured three different places, but the moment Ana Cruz started showing us around Wecare, I felt an immediate sense of comfort. Ana was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. She didn't just give us a quick tour -- she took the time to explain everything thoughtfully and introduced us to many staff members along the way. By the end of the visit, I knew this was the right place for my mother-in-law. After she moved in, we had an introduction meeting with three key department heads -- Nursing, Physical/Occupational Therapy, and Social Services. They explained the care plan in detail and helped set clear expectations from the beginning. That meeting was extremely helpful and reassuring. I especially appreciated it because when my own mom stayed at a different skilled nursing facility in the past, we never received that kind of organized communication or support. Throughout my mother-in-law's stay, every CNA, nurse, and staff member treated her with kindness, respect, and warmth. They were always supportive and friendly, and it gave our family so much peace of mind knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared. Ana also went far beyond her role in admissions. Anytime we had questions or needed help, she never hesitated to reach out to other departments for us. Her dedication and compassion made a difficult time so much easier. We will always be grateful to Wecare for taking such wonderful care of my mother-in-law. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, kindness, and genuine support, I highly recommend Wecare.

But it has long-term…read morecare for as well, therefore it is still considered a nursing home. 3 Elders would share 1 room with 1 toilet / bathroom here. It smells at this nursing home. Social worker who works here is unlicensed since California Law would require social workers to have a licensed social worker if the facility has 150 beds or more, in which this facility doesn't have. Without a license it's hard to keep the social worker accountable. Social worker here threatened us with laws, yet she herself wasn't licensed and our complaint to the California Department of Public Health for their wrongful actions caused the facility to receive a ticket. The social worker and management here tried to keep our loved one here longer than intended to continue to bill the insurance which was shady. Once Medicare started to not pay as much any more for short term care during the pandemic, then we find it that the social worker kept pressuring us to get our loved one out. The social worker here kept interrogating us if our loved one had 24 / 7 care when the nursing facility here had patients who became infected with Covid and passed and they themselves had elders who had falls within the facility. The owner had both a long term and a short term care facility. Their ultimate goal is to find a way to bill the patient's insurance to the max. or sense of actual care or compassion. Don't keep your loved one here. We had financial elder abuse and emotional elder abuse incidents with them. Luz was an unlicensed social worker and the most abusive and unprofessional social worker I've seen in my life. Let alone she has a thick accent. She acts like she's some sort of law enforcement officer when she wasn't even licensed, and her intent was to keep the elder at the facility longer to keep billing their insurance. She doesn't let the elder get the COVID booster. She acts like you don't have the right to talk to her. The most bit...y, ugly, non-compassionate. and most lazy social worker I've ever seen. Don't be afraid to argue against her. I am pretty sure many have verbally fought back against her. She should go to h..l for being abusive towards family and elders.

We found out that this facility is under a COMPLETELY different company/management and they have entirely different staff!! The facility is getting a facelift and I kick myself in the butt for not getting photos (will try to update with some from my partner if he bring his grandma to a follow up). My partner's grandma went here after a knee replacement surgery. Kimberly and Eric made the admissions process sooo easy and comfortable for the family. After touring the facility with them, we knew his grandma would be able to stay here comfortably. His gma had a few follow up appointments with the surgeon post surgery and Eric even offered to not only take her but accompany her as well to make sure she made it back to the facility okay The nursing staff was great and attentive and I would definitely recommend this facility to others. I wish we were able to get some names of the nursing staff but grandma has been super happy and had so many nice things to say! Please don't let the older reviews fool you. I hope this facility gets the recognition they deserve ASAP!

My loved one needed to come here on two occasions; on the first occasion she was well rehabilitated, and now on the second occasion she has made some incredible progress toward the goal. The facility is not fancy looking, but they do focus their resources on what it takes to care for your loved one. They have Physical Therapy to keep your loved one moving. They accomplish amazing procedures, sometimes without need for your loved one to go visit a hospital. Key leaders in the care include Kristian (who accurately describes his nursing role as that of "honcho) and of Sia Rasheed, Director of Rehabilitation. Ask them for weekly updates, and they are able to communicate well. There is a house MD, who keeps the medical procedures on track. Two people spend most of their time guarding the entrance. Those are Raffia K. and Mary Alice Puig, who will take your temperature and sign you in while directing you where to go for your visit. Unlike the past, reasonable visiting of your loved one is allowed much of the day. Previously, there was a limit, but no more. Once when they wanted my assistance, with a tricky IV insertion, I visited until 11 p.m. Parking might at first glance seem a problem, but it isn't. There are indeed only four visitor spaces, and those will almost always be full. Don't park in the one space designated for the doctor! However, there is very adequate parking on Country Drive, and also even on Parkside Drive. So, if you want good quality clinical excellence for your loved one, Fremont Post Acute Care is the right choice. An added plus is that two cats are frequently seen near the entrance.

You might think that having your spouse or your sister around is enough, but post-op support is a tough job! If you make arrangements with Lidys, she will provide the level of comfort and care you need, so you can relax and really heal. The long version: My original plan was to have a TT and lipo, and have my adult daughter stay with me for a few days to help. When I read more, and watched more videos by people who had gone through it, about just how uncomfortable/painful and difficult recovery was going to be, I began to doubt my plan. Now that I am 12 days post-op, I can say for sure that working with Zen Concierge Nursing was the best decision I made. I met with Lidys before the surgery, and she advised me on what products to have ready at home. She and her driver picked me up after the operation and I stayed with her for two nights. She (or her fellow nurse Patricia) was with me every step of the way, helping me eat and sleep and stand and walk and use the bathroom. Lidys kept track of my meds, and called the surgeon's office to consult about my condition. She did everything a post-op nurse does, plus talked to me to distract me or cheer me up. Lidys gave me massages, and made me soup and ordered food for me ... she just did everything to help me relax and let my body heal. When it was time for me to go home, she came with me to make sure my home "recovery station" was all set up, and then texted to check on me every day. Post-op lymphatic drainage massages were recommended by my surgeon, and Lidys did those for me, too. Seriously, her professionalism, experience, care, and reassurance have really helped me so much! I highly, highly recommend her!

I went to two different massage therapists before finding Lidys. It is one thing going to a LDM specialist and another to go to someone with a nursing background and understands what your body goes through during the recovery process. I had fibrosis growing in my back and the two specialists I saw before Lidys did not mention it or try to address the problem at all. Thankfully I found her and she was able to get out my fibrosis lumps significantly in one session and completely in the second. Don't get scammed by these other lymphatic specialist that demand you buy 6-10 treatment sessions. She was honest and told me I only needed two treatments which was true. She also recommends stretches, garments and foams that made such a huge difference in my recovery. Thank you Lidys! And to anyone looking for after care massages after surgery there is no one in San Francisco better than Lidys.
