I decided that I wanted to go into the Allen Edmonds store to get my foot properly fitted the "Allen Edmonds way." Well, that day, the "Allen Edmonds way" meant the lady who was working questioning me about why I wanted my foot measured if I already owned a pair of their shoes. I mentioned that I bought the shoes based on the size I had worn previously for another brand. So, to measure and size my foot, she gave me the Brannock device and had me do it myself. I was blown away. I've been to much lower end shoe stores, and even they actually measure your foot for you. It was such a disappointing experience. If I'm going to spend $400+ on a pair of shoes, well, I expect a better experience that I can get a Payless.

Another couple walked in shortly after and they made sure to have greeted that couple. This is not the first time I've experienced this at this store. We were just coming from church so we were nicely dressed! When we left no one said anything to us either. It seems like a theme with this store, the sales people are not at all inviting. We cut our time short and left. Please train your sales people to greet ALL customers, no matter what they look like or are wearing.
