Haynes Farm is awesome. We have lived here for just over 3 years and it's consistently great. So…read moremuch for families especially - well-behaved kids playing outside on the weekends - next to Bar-B-Que area with adults... oh, and did I say playground on the other side of the property for kids? Swimming pool? Basketball Court? Gym for adults? AND - the nicest management STAFF you can possibly imagine. Mail/package reception and super fast repair/maintenance. Never had a problem here - highly recommend :-) [Not sure why someone said the buildings were loud. It's not loud at all. I've lived in some apartment buildings where you could literally hear the upstairs cat's toenails clicking on hardwood floor or lapping water from a bowl. Nothing like that here - or loud, crazy neighbors. Everyone here is very nice.]

The apartment itself is nice and comfortable and full of light and my neighbors are nice and I love…read morethat there is such diversity and it makes me happy to see all the kids outside playing and all the people walking their dogs, but there are multiple things that do not work for me. This apartment complex is for you if you are fine with: - poisons being sprayed all over the common green space areas where children play and people and dogs walk; - "landscapers" mercilessly mutilating what could be beautiful trees and flowering shrubs into small lumps; - the super loud sound of leaf blowers; - alarms going off for months without maintenance doing anything about it and them acting like you are the problem for asking them to fix the alarm and make the horrendous noise stop; - maintenance not communicating about the work they did, nor seeking clarification with you about the work that needs to be done, nor when they will be in your apartment doing the work, and then maintenance accusing you of being disrespectful for requesting clear communication; - automatic toxic room "fresheners" in the fitness rooms (I had so been looking forward to using them but did not want to breathe the toxins); - crazy loud HVAC units constantly blasting noise making you feel like you are in a non-stop giant engine room in your own home; - ridiculously bright light pollution that is hard to block out at night and visually assaults you when you look out your windows or open your door; there is no reason for such a multitude of super bright, white lights and it is a waste of electricity. When I moved in, there were several things broken in my apartment and things that still needed to be cleaned. Over the first month, maintenance was responsive and did the repairs and cleaning (like the ceiling fan that I could not reach to clean was caked in thick dirt and dust and grease, and the bathroom fan did not work because the painters sprayed the bumpy ceiling paint spray all over it), but they left all the dirt and debris for me to clean up. I never had that experience before where maintenance workers expected me to clean up their mess. It would be useful for them to have a checklist to go through before a tenant moves in to make sure that everything is working and clean. Other than that, the location is good. Visually the aesthetics of the buildings are okay. There is plenty of parking. I like that there are many trees around and I can go for long walks in the neighborhood. I like that they plant flowers at different locations there. The price is expensive but bearable.

In 2 months of living at the Park Plaza building, the hot water has been off 4 times. Today, zero…read morewater for scheduled maintenance without notice. On a 90 degree day too. The building's A/C breaks often too. There's mold in the ceiling tiles and water damage all over the building. One laundry room for the 100-ish units that's moldy with breaking facilities. I found crack litter in the stairwell. There's been a dried poop stain on the second floor hallway since we moved in. Some residents are also irresponsible and let their dogs urinate inside. The roof and basement, which understandably aren't designed as public spaces, are littered with trash. The building might look beautiful but the bones are deteriorating.

THE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN MASS. THEY WILL EXTORT YOU. MEVER DEALT WITH SHADIER MANAGEMENT…read more Moved in and immediately after starting offer free months of rent but nothing for existing residents. not a huge deal until end of lease came around and they tried to extort me for another month of rent for my last month when I had paid first and last to move in. they tried to threaten me with legal stuff but it's MA so it don't work like that. Even got a email from the property manager stating my balance was fine but continue to get notifications to paid them double in rent in a month I already paid. apart from the shady manager the building sucks. slowest elevators in Worcester. hasn't been inspected since 2023. The key fob door is in shambles. Your key fob won't work and you'll be locked out of the builsing for god knows how long. MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO FIX IT. The area of worcester commons is always an issue. If you like homelessness and Fentanyl the grid is your vibe. nothing gets cleaned , someone threw up in the elevator. Till this day no one cleaned. There literally begging people to move in but fair warning if you do they will try to extort you. The worst management I've ever dealt with. I am going to small claims court. Do not make the same mistake I did and move I here. Stay clear. there are literally nearby apartments in the same range.

The initial walk-through of the apartment was very lackluster. The floors were disgusting (the…read morebottom of my socks literally turned black because the prior tenant didn't clean well, and I guess they don't clean before new tenants sign a lease), light sockets were loose from the wall, the bathrooms disgusting - with one leaking constantly from the tank, the window were extremely dirty, some of the doors wouldn't close properly, etc. Here are some of the issues we had while we lived there: -For the first 9 months of living there, we had very disruptive neighbors who would invite people over to play loud music, scream, bang on walls, etc. until very early in the mornings. I have an email chain of over 35 emails back and forth trying to get this under control. The Management told us many times that they spoke with the tenant, gave them warnings, and even as far as saying an eviction suit had been started (which I searched for on the PUBLIC court docket site... and nothing had been started) We were also harassed by our neighbors, because of this. They would bang on our door late at night and run off like I wasn't already looking out of the peep-hole to see what was going on. I provided this information to Management and STILL nothing was done. The tenants FINALLY moved after our 9th month of living there and we go some peace and quiet until our last month there. We got new neighbors who were 10x as loud as the last. I sent video evidence of everything, and Management did nothing to help make our living situation any better. We did not renew our lease because of this (and also because they were increasing our rent over $300 per month) -The front of the building was like walking through landmines. You couldn't walk in a straight line for too long without having to zig-zag your way around the dog crap everywhere. They have a single dog-waste bucket that is usually used as a normal trashcan, but also don't enforce any sort of dog-waste clean-up. -For the majority of our stay, BOTH elevators had expired certifications. They had one turned off for weeks to "get fixed" for the inspection. Being on the 24th floor sucks when this happens, because you have to stop on every single floor on your way up and the way down. -About every week there was a plumbing emergency that required the full building's water to be shut off. - There was one washer and one dryer on each floor that charged $2 a load to wash and $2 a load to dry. However, we did not use these since, after speaking with another resident, they had found feces in the washer. And that was IF the washer/dryers were working. Tenants would floor-hop to use other floors' facilities all the time because of busted equipment. -Because of a Massachusetts Law, they were unable to turn on the A/C until June 15 - EVEN THOUGH it was unseasonably warm. I purchased a thermostat to measure how hot it was in my apartment for documentation purposes. Some evenings, INSIDE my apartment was 95 degrees Fahrenheit. No matter how many residents complained, they would not even contact the Board of Health to get a waiver for the unseasonably warm temperatures. I was told to purchase a window-unit ($300) to help. -The hallways always smelled of urine, garbage (garbage chutes on every floor that are left open by residents), marijuana (even though part of the lease agreement forbids the use of marijuana in the units). -There is a security service that is staffed during the evening/night times to patrol the premises and the entrance. I've noticed many times that they just allow anyone in the front door without verifying if the person lived in the apartments or had a viable reason for being there. They are also supposed to be your first point-of-contact for disruptions, which were not useful in the slightest from my earlier complaints of rowdy neighbors. I reported one to the Leasing Office and he actually started to chew me out because I got him in trouble for not doing his job! Yelp reviews would not allow my full review due to the length. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The water wouldn't just leak from the ceiling it was flood inside the walls, and the water would come up from under the rugs, so you wouldn't just have water damage to your belongings, , but your rug would smell, have stains and would start to curl up (which they never fix, because there are always 'priority' maintenance requests. this is not b/c the maintenance workers work, in fact the maintanance team is amazing, however they aren't allowed to have enough workers to make a real dent in the work that needs to be done. the building Is old and falling apart and needs real renovating. the windows are not sealed correctly, so when its windy (which it often is in Worcester) there is a constant draft, and a loud whistling sound, which isn't as bad as the constant banging from all of the doors in the apartment blowing back and forth ...even when closed, the doors blow so much from the closed window draft, that you can't sleep- and if by some chance you managed to fall asleep thru the breeze, whistling and banging, the floor boards and walls make an awful creaking sound, that makes you think that the building might blow over, again ...this is all with the windows CLOSED. another tenant had rain and slush from the snow, coming in from the closed window- due to how poorly the windows are sealed, and management said that it was cosmetic and not a necessary fix. if you think that it ends there, it doesn't, and I apologize for this long terrible novel, but this company/owners, try to hide all of this by renovating a lobby to mirror that of luxury, and advertise the newly renovated luxury high rise apartments with a beautiful view and full basement gym, which is more than a stretch, on all accounts. if the poorly renovated apartments, which closet doors that don't fit the frame (that won't close), the water damaged walls and rugs, stained closet and bedroom doors that were installed while "renovating" and the other spare old broken appliances and odds and ends taken from other apartments, with drafty windows hasnt deterred you yet, then just keep reading. the "full basement gym" that they advertise, is full, only of broken equipment. the weight lifting equipment has broken wires and missing pins, the cardio equipment is hit or miss, and there is no ventilation or air flow, they do have fans, but they are dusty and gross and don't really do much to help. they do have a cool rec room with a couple couches, tv, poker and pool table, and an awesome giant magnet scrabble board on the wall. but that's really the only cool, or hip, thing about this place. they also have giant windows along the length of the room, which face the gym area, so if you were hoping to work out in the "private" gym, for privacy, you'd be mistaken, because the groups of people in the rec room stare thru the glass at you, mostly b/c all of the couches, chairs and tables, face the windows. the washer and dryers on each floor, are not managed, cleaned or maintained at all. there is so much lint build up in the dryers that it smells of rancid mildew and its an actual serious fire hazard. most of the floors' dryers don't dry properly and what should cost less than $5, easily costs over $12 and still won't be dry The 600 does have 2 elevators, and they are definitely the fastest elevators I have ever had the pleasure to ride in, however, in the entire time I lived there, they have never both been in service at the same time, for more than maybe a few days, there was one week where both elevators were down for 6 days. with 24 floors, and 2 flights of stairs between each floor. the elderly tenants that live on the upper floors, were confined the entire time, except for one man who had to have emergency services come to help him get out, one of the elevators was out of service for over 6 months straight because it needed a mother board, and the owner did not want to pay for one because it was going to be updated a few months later, but this was while the other elevator was removed and being renovated. yes- you heard that correctly, he was hoping to wait the couple months for the other elevator to be fixed, so he didn't have to pay for the mother board. I understand it was about $10,000 but he expected his tenants to have no elevator for months, and it was only when people started to call the city that he had the elevator fixed, this was not the only time something like this happened, back a couple years ago- the entire building had no heat or hot water for about 3-4 days. due to non payment by the owners
