They will do everything to make sure you dont get your security deposit. They also wont do proper maintenance on air filters, CO² detectors. Rent Specifically for value I'd give it a four-point five out of five just because it does cost a fair amount to heat/cool the apartment depending on what unit you have and what the weather is like. I love my unit and paying a bit in heating/cooling is a trade off for the square footage, location, and such cool ceilings. Staff The staff is amazing, very friendly and welcoming. I've never felt disregarded or rushed when I had a question or concern. Claudia and Tabitha are especially helpful at the front desk, but all of the staff seem to genuinely care about the residents experience, maintenance and facilities included; all very friendly and happy to help. Amenities I haven't personally used the grill, fire pit, theater, or game room, but what I use daily; the pièce de résistance is the dog park; I couldn't find any other rental with access to such a spacious park in this park of Worcester. The complex itself is very pet friendly, the staff included! Safety/ crime I haven't had any complaints in regard to safety or issues with crime. The parking lots and entry ways are illuminated and there are cameras everywhere outside, which is reassuring. All in all I hate to see this place with such bad ratings, as that hasn't been my experience at all. If you're looking for a nice place with great staff, pet friendly, right downtown, I would recommend checking it out. read more

I would give 4.5 Stars if I could. The ladies at the front are wonderful to speak with and do help with any issues you have. When looking at the 1 Star reviews take those with a grain of salt. Car break ins happen everywhere and not just here. (They happen in nice neighborhoods also). For the price you can't beat this place, just signed for my 3rd year. If you love getting migraines from the smell of cigarette and weed, and aren't afraid of potentially losing all your worldly possessions in a fire, then by all means, choose this awful place. Trash all over in the parking lots, one trash bin and trash compactor for the entire complex so it routinely overflows...super nasty. And the office and maintenance people couldn't give a damn about you or your needs...too busy on their phones. This place is a business for sure and run like one. I pay about $1800/month normally with a $1500 lease, between electric, just internet, and all the other expenses. Nothing except paid for fixed amenities, things such as an in-apartment washer and drier (both eat electricity like a boss), a flat to stove that will scratch from nothing and will be taken out of your deposit to replace, and the gym with some other activities such as a pool table. Heat (electric), hot water (electric and isolated units), garbage, sewer, water all are charged in addition to rent. I paid $100 for electricity not even being home for all of October. I paid $350 for my first electric bill in December and $550 for my second winter electric bill. So I might as well live in a place for $2200/month with these things included. The heat will attempt to hit it's goal temp for 4 hours of the day, we are talking 68 to 72 degree climb from 8AM to 12 and still will only be at 71 by then, using the aux heat the whole time. Yesterday I slept at 66 degrees, set the thermostat to 68, and left at 7AM. At 4:30 PM when I got home, it was still at 66 degrees, meaning the auxiliary was probably on ALL DAY and still couldn't reach it. The sun being let in is a better insulator heat supply. Walls are thin, shake, you can hear a cat breathe through them, I can see the gaps to my neighbor's bathroom, just an overall disappointment. You would think a company that owns a bunch of lofts would know how to make a living space around them that is cost efficient. It's clearly a corporate run shit show as the first rent increase is $75/ month with a lease signing, with the only lease lock-in is a 15 YEAR COMMITMENT! Honestly I'd deal with this shit locked in for a decade at $1500, but nope. Don't want to resign a lease? It's a $225/MONTH increase, ON TOP OF THE ALREADY ESTABLISHED INCREASE, that's $300/month increase just to go month to month. This place was clearly meant to drain the renter dry and maximize profits at their expense. Now I'm basically a prisoner here as I can't move out until the waiting lists in nearby properties catch up, but I don't have an extra $300/month to pay $1800 for 2-3 months to move out as a $350 followed by $500+ electric bills have drained my savings. Don't have the money to make a deposit payment either or the space in my budget to afford it with these ridiculous bills. It's a shame because the employees here are solid people and are getting the brunt of the pushback due to shitty corporate "savings" strategy. So I guess I can just get fucked by taking a chance on this place. I warn anyone doing the same, the grass may have been green here once, but that's long gone. The location might be prime, but Covid still exists and when it ends, who is going to have the money to go out when you are paying an additional $300/month to live somewhere? I spend that on just food that I cook. Competing places locally have the same floor space with heat and hot water included for the same price, lofts, gyms, a garage space, and fucking pools, go with them. There are a ton of waiting lists but it's definitely worth the wait to go elsewhere. Don't get bent over for something that is just a hollowed out aesthetic. read more

I just moved in on Monday. I should've looked at their rating on here. The buildings are beautiful but the management is just the worst. Do not trust anything they tell you. They take days to respond to emails. The trash receptacles are not in the building - they're in the parking lot across the street. It's about 1000 steps for me. I asked them to change my lightbulb, that's like 10 feet high and I was asked not to change due to safety, to a Philips Hue one that I'm supplying. this was denied as it's considered "an alteration". I asked them to let the cable guy in while I was away. they actually agreed. but I was interrupted at work to resend the permission that I had sent earlier. then I was interrupted minutes later to tell me that they couldn't stay with him. I must've been the first tenant to request that. he came back later when I was home, it took him 5 minutes. I'm already counting down my days here. I'll make sure to update this post should things improve. read more

For your own sanity do not live here. The fire alarm has gone off so many times because of a maintenance issue and they have yet to fix it. I've lived here for 3 years. It really is unfathomably bad. Appears as though Brady Sullivan likes to acquire older mill buildings but can't follow through on basic maintenance and upkeep. This is the absolute WORST place you could ever consider living. The area isn't even the wort part, its the management company, Brady Sullivan out of Manchester New Hampshire, that is horrible to deal with. Main Issues: YOUR SAFETY, Unworldly Utility Bills (Heat), Internal walls of the units cannot be insulated because you can hear your neighbors' TV, Pets, arguing, cooking, pro-creating...I think you get the gist of what i am saying..... When I first moved in two years ago, we were promised Security on site. Well that didn't last long at all. Cars were broken into often. One parking lot didn't even have lights in the lot at night time for at least 9 months, and still didn't when I moved out. Continually, you would walk out to the lot in the morning and see car's windows smashed and cars ransacked. Once the "security gates" were installed, people would leave them open, or somehow people (and I mean people who lived on the streets) would end up within the gates, and would knock on my door at nights. The doors to the Condo's are all so old, and you can see light come through them. Pretty sure someone could easily kick it in, if you weren't there to "shoo" them off. Same goes for the internal hallways to the units. Often you would find "people" trying one door after another, trying to gain access to anyone's unit. Back to the Security Guard that was supposed to be there. Uh, gone after about 6 months...that's when it all started. My daughter was terrified to stay there if i wasn't home with her, and there were enough examples that i brought to "management" onsite, as well as at their Corp Office. The response I got from "management" was "you knew where you were moving to". Really? I travel to Baltimore, Philly, NYC, Detroit, so I am not really scared of Worcester. I was scared that BRADY SULLIVAN doesn't care about their tenants' security (Please refer to the MANY, MANY lawsuits against them now for poisoning their tenants with asbestos). Safety was such an issue that I had no other alternative, but to leave. I gave notice, and properly ensured that my unit was ready for rent, and professionally cleaned. The "manager" at the time, there was about 5 different "managers" onsite in the 10 months i was there, told me that, since i gave notice, and my unit was rented within a week after i had vacated, and I paid for two months rent, PLUS they kept my deposit - my unit was literally in better shape when i left, than when i got there - I would be all set. NOPE!! I was sent a letter a year later from a Collections Agency looking for $3000....over a YEAR after. I disputed it, of course, but I still have to pay it so my credit does not get damaged. So, BRADY SULLIVAN managed to get my rent for the 10 months i lived there, PLUS, two months EXTRA I paid, since i broke the lease early, PLUS kept my deposit, PLUS still came after me for $3000. For those of you that are considering living at Junction Lofts, I cannot encourage you enough to NOT CONSIDER it.....Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.... read more

If you want to be ripped off and pay solely for the hipster aesthetic, this place is for you. The heat rarely functions and the draft coming from the windows makes it feel like you are outside. I get that this is a old factory building but window sealant exists for a reason. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing because the walls are paper thin. Whether it is hacking up a lung at 3am or arguing with their spouse, you're sure to know about it. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far, FAR away from this place. read more

Miserable experience. Looks nice but reality of living there is horrible. Walls are paper thin. The heat, if functional, will be very expensive. They towed my car out of the parking lot ($140 cost). Apartments look beautiful, great amenities, but it's really not safe to live here. As a current tenant I've had problems with harassment from visitors of other tenants, specifically in the dog park. Someone who lives here's dog trainer screamed at me, spoke down to me, threatened me, and shoved my dogs. The office doesn't see this as a problem for a young female. Problems do not get addressed. If you are a female or own a dog, I highly suggest not looking here. This is not a safe place to live for either. I've also been spoken to rudely the entire time I've lived here by the property manager unfortunately. Just don't bother, it's a literally detrimental to my health to live here. Unless you want to be harassed, not worth your time or money. It also genuinely is not a safe area, we found used needles in the parking lot, and I've made 3 911 calls on drug addicts causing issues just outside in the past few months. Be careful. read more

Parking for guests does not exist, in fact my guest arrived late one night and parked in the designated parking spot for tenants and did not see the no parking sign. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies. To start, when my husband and I moved in during the winter, the heat was never turned on so for a week it was 45-55 degrees in the apartment and would not warm up past that. When we went to the office about it (numerous times), they did nothing to help and said that they understood how cold it was, they even needed to use their space heaters (their office was 74 degrees and they had no clue how cold it felt in our apartment). Our utility bill was $600 that month after trying to get our temperature up and the complex did nothing to help. They give you a number for their emergency line for off hours, don't bother to call it because nobody will answer or call you back. The staff is incredibly unhelpful and each staff member will give you a different answer to your questions depending on who you ask. When we had to break our lease early due to me having to relocate for work, we were told that as long as they found new tenants to move in we would be able to break our lease without a penalty. Needless to say, they waited until we came in again to break the lease after making a down payment on a house to tell us that it would be close to $8,000 to break the lease. They then had the audacity to ask us to leave earlier than planned to accommodate their new tenants. This place was a NIGHTMARE for us. Nevermind the fact that it's overpriced and completely in the ghetto with crackheads everywhere, it is run horribly by staff that don't know what they're doing. Stay clear of this place. read more
