In cape may for vacation, and had a horrible experience with Christina. She charged double due to her lack of communication in picking up our dog. She stated she had tried to contact us for several hours, to which we never received a call or text. Only 20 mins before we picked our dog up did we ever get any communication and we were already in route. She then had a horrible attitude and proceeded to rush us out and lock the door behind us. Her excuse was that she had a drs appt which had nothing to do with us. Poor planning and lack of communication should not fall on someone who is spending money. In the attached photo is shows zero messages before the time shown as well as threatening to call animal control. Horrible horrible service! Also below, it seems the "owner" responded with more lies... the chop job looks nothing like the photo reference presented, (see attached). Zero blending, didn't do the ears, just overall terrible. Do not support this business as they have zero regard for your family fur babies. Poor Skoshi was running to the water bowl when we got home. read more

Upon receiving a text my dog was ready, I arrived at the shop confused over the message i received, berating me for being late & threatening to call animal control. I told them I didn't receive any calls, but I did receive their text. Christina continue to accused me of ignoring her calls & I made her miss her doctors appointment where she had been waiting for over six months to be seen. her manger stated, Christina told me to come back in a hour & half, which never happened. Instead she said she would contact me. There was an obvious unintentional disconnect .... I didn't appreciate being yelled at & treated as if I am a liar. christina then demanded I pay doubled because I ignored her. To beat all that, My dog didn't even receive the cut I asked for. Christina was busy, so the other groomer took a snap shot of the cut my dog usually gets. This is not what I got. Uneven cut (gaps & lines), ears not trimmed, no head pony tail. A terrible cut & horrendous customer service. read more

Sun Dog Grooming was definitely a 5 star experience. Jonathan is so nice and communicative. Someone cancelled and he even gave us the option to come in earlier which we really appreciated. Our dog Leo, mini golden doodle, was so matted. He hadn't had a haircut in 4 months because of covid closures and Jonathan and his crew nursed him back to health! Professional and caring groomers who provide extra TLC for my 15 year old Shiba Inu who has arthritis. They are very gentle with him to ensure he is comfortable. He comes home shiny white and squeaky clean! My Aussie, Buddy, gets his groom/haircut from Jonathan who knows just the perfect length I like for his Summer cut. I brought my puppy here 3 weeks ago and asked if they could pluck her ears. The Gromer Alexa assured me she did so. Well that was not the case. I return to Florida and my puppy keeps scratching at her ear I look at it and she has a HUGE dread in it. I had to take her to a new groomer and the had to pull it out of her ear I have never heard my puppy cream like that. When I called and complained they gave me a free grooming ha like I'd come back. My poor puppy now has a nasty ear infection and in pain. Thank you for not providing the service I not only paid for but specifically emphasized how she need to do her ears. read more

Being on vacation doesn't mean a vacation from beauty for my Yorkie Tippi and Sundog keeps her neat, clean and pretty while visiting Wildwood Crest on vacation.. Having allergies Tips needs special baths to keep her skin and coat itch free. I usually make grooming reservations for her a week or 2 in advance. I drop Tippi off at her appt time and wait for her while having a nice breakfast across the street at Jellyfish cafe..in about an hour Mary calls and I pick her up. Tippi comes out clean and fresh..she looks beautiful. Tippi's happy and sassy nature when I pick her up tells me that she was treated with kindness and gentleness during her stay. Mary is extremely talented and has done some fantastic trimming on Tippi with special attention to the paws and ears that is so important. The prices are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend the OATMEAL BATH SPA package that must feel fantastic to Tippi because her skin and coat look fantastic afterwards and her skin is well moisturized.
