As soon as i got in, Carissa had me fill out a few forms and was ready without any appointment. She started out with lightly massaging my back, and the first thing she said was, "wow you have a lot of knots". This made me feel like she knew what she was doing and knew what to look for. She felt my back out for any tense areas and wanted to make sure to relax my body before going in with the deep tissue massage. She even went further explaining to me if your muscle isnt relaxed when getting a deep tissue, it can hurt me. So this alone i knew was a legit place. She explained everything she was doing and even provided me a reason behind all of it. During the deep tissue, she made sure it was a good enough pressure and immediately knew if it was too hard based on my body's reaction. She was very aware and considerate the whole way. Great place to come and get a legitimate massage. Nothing sketch just relief and you can walk away knot free.

He said that they didn't really give him clear instructions on anything as this was also his first time, so he stripped naked and wrapped himself in a towel. (I honestly didn't find this weird... is it weird?) Then the lady who did his massage came in and practically told him he's not supposed to be naked. The studio is fine and perfectly clean and in a good location. Rate is $60/hour which is a little below the going average and much less than a 5-star therapist could charge. I would put Julia as one of my top five therapists ever and I've seen a hundred at least. Be advised that she doesn't speak much English, but don't worry, She will find any areas hurting or in need of stretching out . You don't need to say anything. The sign out front says walk-ins welcome but I'd definitely call for an appointment. There is another therapist there but I've never used her.
