I have to give this place minimal stars as I called and asked pricing for a full body massage and I was told $50 for 60min just to reel me in and then when I got there all of a sudden it went up to $60 which I was initially ok with that's decent pricing for this kind of a massage. HOWEVER, once I got assigned my masseuse she tells me to prepay which I have no problem doing and she tells me $70 in which then I said you know what never mind in which they all quickly said $60 is fine all of a sudden. Needless to say I started to get irate but decided to go ahead with it anyway, massage in general was 6-7/10 so I kinda let it all go and prepared a $20 tip for the masseuse that literally just tried to scam me and she had the audacity to stop me in my tracks and say "$20 that's it?!" And continued to shame me and asked me to tip her more via card as I had no more cash in which I refused. This is NOT how you treat a paying customer who is willingly tipping a decent amount for a mid grade Thai massage. This is not massage envy or Brooke Williams in which the masseuses there would have probably been content with a $20 tip. I don't care how much they get paid nor is it my responsibility to pay their wages if they're not getting paid enough. $60 base ans $20 tip is more than sufficient for the service provided. If you're going to be paying 90-100$ for a massage, do yourself a favor and go to a legit massage spot like Massage Envy and get your moneys worth in service & customer service as well. Unfortunately, things have changed significantly since she left and the business came under new management. On my most recent visit, the man who answered the phone was also the person who gave my massage. The experience was disappointing from start to finish. He appeared to be checking his phone during the session, the massage felt rushed and lackluster, and the overall level of professionalism was far below what I had come to expect. It was honestly one of the worst massages I've ever received. I'm genuinely sad that Lily is gone because she was the reason I kept coming back for so many years. I do a lot of weight lifting and physical activity, so I was way overdue for a stress relieving massage. Lee did a full body massage for 60 mins for me. I definitely came out of there feeling rejuvenated. When I asked her to apply more pressure, she did exactly that. $50 for 60 mins and $80 for 90 mins. There are also 30 minute options. There are up charges if you'd like CBD oil or coconut oil, so I went with the standard option and that worked just fine. Their menu is very simple which is good if you're not a massage expert and don't want to be overwhelmed. Plenty of parking. On a December weekday, the place was quiet and thankfully there were no interruptions during my hour long massage. There is an area with various seats for those who want a foot massage. The full body massages take place in private rooms with hooks and a basket for your items. The place felt clean. This is my opinion as someone who doesn't get massaged often so Im not an expert, but from my experience, I do recommend this place. read more

I visited this place for a foot massage, but was persuaded by the staff to try a $70 combo massage with CBD oil, which was supposed to include a thorough foot massage. In the past, they would wash your feet and really focus on them, with a brief shoulder massage included. Unfortunately, this time was very different. I was taken to a back room where the massage focused almost entirely on my body, with minimal attention to my feet--which was disappointing, considering I specifically came for a foot massage. What made the experience more uncomfortable was the behavior after the service. As soon as I stepped out of the restroom, the therapist was waiting with her hands out for a tip, which felt abrupt and a bit aggressive. I usually tip at the front after thanking the staff, so this caught me off guard. I gave her a $15 tip, which I felt was fair given the service I received. She counted it right in front of me, gave me a disapproving look, and walked off without a word. This used to be a great spot, but something has definitely changed. i arrive it's dark and door is locked. appointment was at 4, i get here on time they try to move it to 4:30. i say i have an appointment in an hour i can't do 4:30. i try to leave and the door is locked, i had to make him come and unlock the door. i say ill come back at 6:30 after my appointment he says ok. i call and say im on the way he says actually 7:40???? i'm like whatever okay. i get here he says 7:50 we're busy, and again door is locked he won't let me inside. it's 7:43 he unlock the door. I'm giving a 2 star because the massage itself was ok. But that's about it. Booked a 90 minute massage. But it was anything but relaxing. The guy I had, walked out twice to greet customers as they came in. Then answered 4 calls which meant he either stopped massaging or used one weak hand to basically rub while he was on the phone. To top it off, instead of giving additional time for the interruptions, he actually stopped the massage at 85 minutes when it was supposed to be 90 minutes. I was really hoping to like this place since my other spot in the area is temporarily closed. Firstly you walk in and the place is lit up like the sun shining. It's a massage spot it's supposed to be a little dim to enjoy your comfortable massage. The one lady there kept hustling and hassling trying to charge me for everything. I'm surprised she didn't want to charge me for opening the door and walking into her shop. They wanted to charge me for the different oils they were going to use to give me a massage, like what the heck. By the way, doors are all wide open and no music playing and once again lights up on high. At the end of the massage, of which I didn't really enjoy because the ambiance, I pay and put down a nice tip and she still tried to hassle me for a larger tip. I get that tipping is important but tipping is meant for great customer service, which is something I did not receive. Sorry business owner but you definitely lost me as a customer. I wish I could give 0 stars. My beloved place Green Massage in Tujunga closed down for good unfortunately, and I had been going to them for 5+ years. So when I looked on yelp for another place I found sunflower massage. Same prices, same kind of deals. So I thought it would be comparable. Boy was I wrong. For starters, the receptionist led me to a tiny curtained off room with kind of sticky 70's shag carpet. It didn't feel very sanitary from the beginning but I really needed a massage so I figured how bad could it be? I was meant to get the hour long back massage and 30 minute foot massage but after how badly the massage went I actually made an excuse to not get the foot massage. I was also surprised by the fact that the receptionist seemed to double as the masseuse??? He ended up being the one who worked on me. A bit weird but okay. The head rest that you lay face down in actually stunk of bad breath. There was absolutely NO rhyme or reason to my massage. It felt like he was going around in circles with his palms just over and over for an hour. There was hardly any oil or lotion used, most of my massage was performed with a small towel over my back? And then to top it off, the phone rings (very loudly), he has the phone IN HIS POCKET and he ANSWERS THE PHONE OVER MY HEAD 4 TIMES WHILE GIVING ME THE MASSAGE STILL. Literally booking appointments over my head and only using one hand while he's doing so. If anything I left more tense than I already was to begin with. The whole thing was just awful. I used to visit this place a lot for a cheap, good local massage. But yesterday the person massaging me continuously fell asleep during the massage... Yup. I kept feeling his hands just stop for a while on different parts of my body and then re start after a 5-10 sec pause. I removed my eye cover and started to watch him (as I was in a chair receiving a foot massage) I watched him nod off repeatedly in the middle of the massage. I got up, put my money on the front desk and left. That will be my last time there. Btw, I could have some sympathy if it was late at night or he was the only masseuse there, but it was 1pm in the afternoon, I was the only client and there were at least two other workers present ( in case this guy was really feeling tired/ill) Also, I hate to say it, but if you're a female, you will spend a lot of time wondering if the men really need to spend that much time on your bottom during a full body massage or do they need to reach THAT far down your shirt during a shoulder massage. OMG BEST MASSAGE EVER! I actually can't believe this place exists. I got the $20 "foot" massage from James today. I called 15 min before and he was able to accommodate me. You go in and are placed in a communal area that has 6 large reclining leather chairs that are covered with towels/sheets. They put your feet in a hot water bath and then you lay on your back. James started with a scalp, back, and neck massage, then did my arms, and finally my feet. I totally fell asleep during the foot massage and was SO relaxed. He then finished off by doing a back and body massage. OMG AMAZING. I could not believe what a great experience I had. Even though it is called a "foot" massage, it was TOTALLY a full body massage. I have been to MANY massages over the years and this is in the top. THANK YOU JAMES!! I will be back! Maybe tomorrow? Lol. I've been coming here intermittently for 3 years. I have always gotten the $20 foot massage, which is not exclusively feet. Pros: Pleasant, clean, set-up, close to me, easy parking. Never had a bad or painful massage here. Almost never need an appointment (evening and weekends are more likely to be booked up). Staff has not had a lot of turnover and they are always polite and smiling. I like that it's clothes on with very lightweight oils -- makes the whole process less of an impact on your day. Cons: If you want a full-on spa experience massage, this isn't the place. The techs do a standard process and don't seem to individualize their work very much. read more

It's reflexology which if your not familiar with it then I will explain, or jump to the next paragraph. First, you should wear comfortable clothing preferably shorts and sandals. You sit in this comfortable black leather Recliner chair fully clothed. They start with soaking your feet in a small bamboo circular bathtub. While your feet are nice and warm from the hot water they cover your body with warm blankets and start massaging your head and neck. Then they wrap your feet in towels and start doing work on your feet. They glove up and spend the majority of there time on massaging the feet and finding the foots pressure points. They then wash the massage oil off with a steaming hot towel. You end with you face down in the now flattened recliner chair while they put all of there strength making sure the tension in your back is relieved. My wife and I have been coming here for about a year now, and we are always extremely happy with the services. They are all very friendly but there is a Chinese language barrier. My wife is a nurse in a hospital in china town and I am a firefighter/paramedic. The staff there have started teaching us Chinese and it has been quite useful. Rosette-a- stone meets foot massage. I am such a fan of this massage spot. The owner whose name I don't know is absolutely amazing. If you have the opportunity to get him you are in for a real treat. I have had him do the hour foot massage which includes basically your whole body but focused on lower legs and feet. He has also done 60 mins body massage on me as well. My only complaint about this place is that nobody else compares to the owner's level of expertise. I do not like going unless he is working on me. There seems to be other Sunflower Massage locations. This one opened in Sunland recently. You can get an hour foot massage or a neck/head/hand/shoulder/foot massage for $20. Plus a suggested $5 tip. They have other massages on the menu, but I went for the $20 special neck/head/hand/shoulder/foot massage. This is not like most spas. The main massage area is communal. There are about 8 recliners in a large room. Soft music plays and the lights are low. People talk in hushed voices if they talk at all. Everyone stays clothed. A plastic basket is provided for your personal items, and this is kept right next to your chair. Jack helped me settle into a large recliner and put my head on a pillow. He brought a tub of hot water to soak my feet and then began by massaging my head and face. The massage is not like a swedish massage or a theraputic massage, but it is respectful, skilled and relaxing. Bring cash and tip generously. I hope they make a go of it. I will be back. read more

Yeah the prices are reasonable but their strategy's made me differ. They had no pattern, it was sloppy. As if they just rubbed away. I surely was not satisfied. The person who rubbed me down He applied so much damn lotion on me I felt gross he didn't even rub it in correctly. When he applied the hot towel to wipe it off after he didn't even do a good job.
