My therapist repeatedly struck my head while working on my shoulders and back, not light tapping, but actual hitting. I left with visible marks on my back that I expect will bruise. That is not a technique. That is a problem. Throughout the session, the draping was completely inadequate. The towel provided was far too small to maintain basic coverage, and my therapist showed no concern for my privacy or comfort when it moved. I had to continuously reposition it myself. I could not wait for the session to end. When I left a tip that reflected my experience, the therapist confronted me at checkout and told me the tip was supposed to be 20%. I told her directly that was the worst massage I had ever received. After reading other recent reviews, I see I'm not alone, multiple guests have reported the same issues with aggressive technique, lack of professionalism, and pressure around gratuity.
