Technically I didn't ask over the phone about the in-network vs. out-of-network distinction, but I think it would have been better customer service to tell me that over the phone. As it was, the trip to the store was a waste of my time. Also the store hours listed on the web site and on Yelp are incorrect.

I've seen the advertisements for krewe but not seen anyone with them on. Beautiful sunglasses but the customer service was absolutely terrible. No one greeted me, asked if I would like help or even made conversation. There was an associate behind each card table - not one spoke. I guess they must've felt that I wouldn't be a shopper. Mind you I'm shopping on a Sunday just coming from urban outfitters with a bag while there at work hawking sale items. Bougie store associates are absolutely obnoxious & a joke. Store was not busy damn near empty- I was maybe 1 of 2 people in the store shopping while 8 associates didn't speak. I purposely went to each table. A smile and greeting will take you a long way. So I grudgingly decided to get in my SUV and make the trek to Baton Rouge, since apparently NOLA isn't worthy of an Oakley store but BR is? Save for the congestion on the ring road, Mall of Louisiana was surprisingly uneventful today, and the Oakley store staff were amazing. If I'm going to spend what they're asking for shades, even with a coupon, I want to try them on and make sure they work in terms of look, feel, etc. Almost all their eyewear is out in the open so you can pick it up, try it on, as opposed to certain stores where stuff is behind a case. One of the coolest things about Oakley is that you can totally customize your frames, eye socks, lenses, and the Oakley icon. They'll build a custom pair for you right in the store so you know it works before leaving. The product is the same at all stores and online, so I'm not going to go into details about that other than to say I think Oakley makes some kickass stuff. The staff at this location were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Brittney and Ryan. They really made the whole process a pleasure. They were also doing one of those scratch and reveal coupon handouts and I ended up getting 40% off which was even more than I planned on spending. They told me what everything was going to cost before the discount. I did the math in my head and when I got to the register everything was less than what I was expecting so that was awesome. I recommend this store for everything Oakley, especially their eyewear.

The appointment was almost a half an hour late, at which point the doctor told me he didn't take my insurance, so wasted time off of work to go to this place. Unbelievable. Ahhh Baton Rouge, you know your city/town has made it when a Costco is located there…read more I always stop here whenever staying or passing through Baton Rouge due to the gas. But while staying here, I do stop in to mosey around and see what products/items this location offers that's unique to other locations. The difference is they have some LSU memorabilia and a few Louisiana condiments and beverages you can't find elsewhere. As always, there's all the grocery aisles which consist of the bulk items from the deli and bakery. And of course, those hot items such as the rotisserie chicken and rack of ribs. Cold items including the wraps, cocktail shrimp, salads, and the ready-to-eat meals adorn this place too. I'll sometimes grab one of the meals and let it last for days whenever I'm on travel and staying in one of the hotels around. Since this Costco has been open for several years, it's evident there's some wear and tear around the warehouse. The parking lot can be a bit dirty as well so check your surroundings when here.
