I did my entire treatment of Invisalign in about a year and a half. I wore braces as a kid and of course never wore my retainer. I make sure to wear my retainer every single night now. Speaking of my retainer...it broke twice on me! The plastic at the top of it was too thin and fragile. The doctor made my third one a little shorter and while it looks a little funny since it only covered half my teeth, it's stronger and hasn't cracked in over a year. The bridge felt too high and uncomfortable from day one, causing me to repeatedly bite my cheek and tongue and experience ongoing pain. I had to return multiple times for adjustments and was even charged extra for temporary work that continued causing discomfort. After months of pain and stress, I sought a second opinion from a prosthodontist and oral surgeon, who identified problems including traumatic occlusion, open margins, exposed metal, and concerns about decay and improper fit. I also paid out of pocket for additional evaluations because the treatment I received was not what was originally offered or expected. The bone replacement included in my treatment plan was never performed. My experience left me in physical pain, emotional stress, and financial loss. I would strongly encourage anyone considering major dental work here to carefully review their treatment plan, ask questions, and consider getting a second opinion before proceeding. I will never recommend this dental office to anyone based on my experience.
