It only do they not open / close on their posted hours, but the clothing is done mediocre at best. Often times I have gone there and they tell me my items are not done by the promised time/date and they cannot tell me when to come back. I dropped some jackets off on Wednesday, promised Friday after 4pm. I noticed the place was in total disarray. People's clothing on the floor, she threw someone's pink dress shirt on the ground to help me. When I arrived 4:30 Friday, they were closed. I agree with the other reviews that this is the worst cleaners I've ever used! I've been getting dry cleaning done for 30 years and these are the worst. I brought in my pants and a tommy Bahama shirt and my wife's 2 sweaters. There is no way that these clothes were cleaned. There was no clean smell, the Bahama shirt was very wrinkled and now had a spot on it near the arm. The spot was on the front of the shirt, but they tried to tell me that it was under the armpit and was a stain. This was BS. My wife's sweaters still had the elbows bagged out from wearing and we're not back in shape as they always are after cleaning. You can tell by looking at all the items that they just were not cleaned properly or maybe even, at all! When I complained to the woman at the register, she showed no concern at all and said that she would not refund my money unless the owner says so and he had told her that that were fine! Their cleaning skills are terrible and their customer service is non existent! You should avoid this terrible business and use one of the many many better competitors! read more

I have been going here for several years only because of the convenience of the location. However, I have been unhappy with their services for awhile. Frequently, I will go to pick up the clothes after the communicated pick-up time, which I always verify at drop-off, and not all of the clothes are ready. As a result, many times I must make repeated trips. Additionally, one of my boyfriend's irreplaceable 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirts that he had purchased a few years ago on vacation was lost. For 3 weeks, I followed up and escalated the issue to the managers. Granted, they did make some phone calls trying to locate it and even offered to pay us for the missing shirt, but it was very upsetting since it wasn't something that you could easily replace. Because one day I just happened to speak with a lady who remembered us previously using their other location, she made a phone call to the other store and located the shirt. I understand mistakes can happen, however, it does not help that I feel very unwelcome when I walk into the store. The employees don't smile, and they don't say hello to you unless you speak to them first. At times, they are outside smoking and seemed bothered that you interrupted their break. There was even at least one occasion where the lady was on her cell for a personal phone call and finished her call before even acknowledging that I was standing right there in front of her. The last straw for me was the other day when I walked in, and the lady very unapologetically informed me that their credit card machine wasn't working, warranting another wasted trip to the store once again. I plan to find a new location. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I needed some zippers replaced on a couple of couch cushions and was told they could have it done in a week for $11 a cushion. Great! I happily dropped the cushions off and went about my business. A week later, I arrived on the agreed date but was told when I got there that there was a problem and that it would take ANOTHER week. I was disappointed that they never called me (common courtesy?), but I didn't make a big deal about it. They told me that now the cost was $16 a cushion since they had to order the zippers. Again, I was disappointed since they told me $11 a cushion last week, but I still didn't make a big deal about it. I picked up the cushion covers the next week and took them home. I didn't put them on my cushions right away. When I got around to it two days later, I came to realize that the ZIPPERS WERE THE WRONG LENGTH. They put 3 foot zippers when I needed 4 feet!! The stitching that was done was very shoddy and looked like an amateur sewed them in. The zippers were not even symmetrical on the cushion. Despite the wrong length of the zippers, I tried my best to fit my cushions in anyways but they would not fit. At that point I was pissed off. I waited TWO weeks to get the zippers replaced and then they put the wrong size on?? I called the cleaners back to complain and was told on the phone that they would do whatever it takes to remedy the situation. They apparently have been having numerous complaints about their upholsterer's work. The lady on the phone told me that they would refund my money and have them fixed, or find someone else who can fix them, free of charge. She told me she would talk to her boss and then text me with the final plan. I was upset that I STILL had to deal with these god forsaken cushions but what she told me on the phone sounded reasonable so I accepted. I never got texted all day. I decided to show up at the cleaners and was told that they were just going to refund my money and NOT FIX my zippers!! I couldn't believe my ears! The lady at the desk told me that her boss said that it was "suspicious" that I decided to complain about the cushions two days after I picked them up and that's why they weren't going to fix my cushions!! I work 80+ hours a week as a surgical resident and am currently on a whole month of night shift. I didn't put my cushions on right away because I was always EXHAUSTED when I came home. When I finally got around to it just TWO DAYS later and found THEIR mistake, I get accused of being suspicious???? Sunny Cleaners has HORRIBLE customer service and will NEVER get my business again. I have NEVER written a negative review in my life, but I decided to write this up (despite my busy schedule) because of the TERRIBLE experience I had. I hope I can save someone out there from the headache that I had to go through!!! read more

I have been taking items to Sunny Cleaners for about ten months. During that time, things have been either incorrectly or sloppily done about one-third of the time. Finally last week I decided to stop being a customer after I had taken five pairs of Chino pants to be laundered and ironed. The cost was about $30 which is the norm. I picked up the pants. The next day I put a pair on and discovered the pants had been ironed so the crease ran down the side and the pants had not been starched as I had requested. The other four pairs were also creased on the side rather then down the front. I ended up ironing the crease in the front myself. However, the pants still looked odd since they now had creases on the side and front. read more

Quick next day service on most items. Had to ask them to pay better attention on shirt collars, but overall good job on cleaning, spot removal, and pressing. Prices are pretty fair. read more

I recently had a blue business shirt dry cleaned at this cleaners (the Carolina Forest location). My shirts are custom made for me, so I spend alot of money on them. After I received the shirt back there was white spots on the collar and on the front chest area. So I went back with the shirt and they stated It was from my cologne which I found hard to believe since I didn't put cologne anywhere near the white marks plus its a custom made shirt. I told this to them so they stated they would send it to there test lab to have tested. This was in December. I figured they would call me when something was found. I was wrong. They never called. I stopped a couple times in the morning before work because they are suppose to open at 7:30a.m. but after waiting there for over 15mins no one ever showed up. I finally went at the end of the day (this was February by the time I was able to talk to someone) and the manger was there and told me the lab actually went out of business so they couldn't figure anything out. No apologe was made just them saying they will have it sent back. Not sure why I couldn't get a call saying this. Not a very good business! read more
