When I reached out to Tina to inquire about service's she informed me that they do board but do not do daycare. That was totally fine. They were able to book me last minute at a very reasonable rate. Tina, her husband and one of their employees, Jesus could not have been more welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I was very happy with the setup. My two dogs had a huge enclosed outdoor area to themselves to run and play. That area had access through a dog door to a private section of the indoor kennel which was climate controlled. They could go in and out as they pleased. They provide food but you are welcome to bring your own as well. I never had any concerns that my girls were not in good hands. I dropped them off the same evening I booked just before 5:00pm and picked them up just after 4:00pm the next day. Tina happily communicated and sent me pictures of them happy and playing the morning after drop off until I picked them up that afternoon. They accept cash and checks (10% discount for cash) and Zelle. I paid via Zelle. I look forward to boarding with them again as I occasionally travel for work and my pet sitter hasn't always been available. Thank you Tina and family for taking such good care of Echo & Lexi!

And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

It helps us feel at easing knowing our dogs are having a good time . The times we are here there have been plenty of people who are dropping off and there is nothing but tail wags from them which you know is a good sign . I have had nothing but good interactions with everyone here. Caroline is amazing. She's so caring to both animals and us fur parents . She treats our dog as if they were her own. There is a lot of comfort knowing our fur babies have a place to go when they can't come along and they are in good hands.

I think it's time for me to share my experience with Adler Stein and Anne ... These are purely my…read moreperspectives and I ask Anne/Adler Stein and anybody else to pardon any inaccuracies. I have an almost 2 yr old GSD, Fuzzy. We got him at the onset of the pandemic, so we couldn't socialize him early on. I trained him with every online resource that I could find. He is one fine dog, but had 2 challenges. He had leash reactivity with dogs and we couldn't board him anywhere due to his anxiety. Our first attempt at getting a trainer was an expensive mistake. Our second trainer was a wonderful lady and helped Fuzzy in many ways. But we hit a wall when it came to leash reactivity. Using treats for counter-conditioning was not working for us. Adler Stein came up in my research, and my experience was the same as folks have pointed out in other reviews. Called and left a message .... radio silence. Something about the writeup on their facebook page and the postings about rescues made me keep pushing. I continued to stalk them online around June/July 2021 and early August I got an email response from Anne asking me to contact her again in late September. I did and she called me back. We spent 10 minutes talking and I remembered all the tough teachers and family members I'd seen in my life. I'd normally be put off if somebody spoke to me in a direct and demanding tone, but everything she said/asked was related to the well-being of Fuzzy. I dropped him off in mid Oct for a 2 week training and that was the day I started understanding the environment and Anne a bit better. It is a spacious property with so many dogs in kennels and a few horses. Dogs were barking so much that I was going crazy in my head. But it made me appreciate her work, just think of say 20-30 dogs around you all barking at the same time all day long ... What would your state of mind be? How would you respond to so many people calling or messaging you for your services? She does this all by herself (I think) and I have seen how much work it is, so I started appreciating her work even more. I answered her questions about Fuzzy as much as I could, dropped him off for a 2 week training routine and left with a lot of questions in my mind. She'd noticed how nervous he was and asked me to check back in 2 days to see if this was even going to work out. Considering the 70 mile drive and the sizable fee, I had my fingers crossed. I checked back in 2 days and she texted back that he was doing well and she was starting the training. I checked back after a week and she sent me a video of his training. I went back after 2 weeks and she spent 30 mins talking about him, her observations, training, etc. She asked me a lot of questions about previous trainings and shared her perspectives on the modern way of life that includes dogs. When she brought him to me, he was soooo excited. After the first few mins of letting him be, she started "transferring" what worked in the training to me. We spent 90 mins where I was trying to follow her instructions and felt like a puppet trying to keep up with the drill master. I was nervous and made quite a few mistakes, but learned many important training techniques. She was not satisfied with me though, but we scheduled a follow-up 2 weeks later. I practiced with Fuzzy everything she taught us for 2 weeks and we did the follow up yesterday. She was happy with the progress and taught us more. I felt validated when she complimented my willingness to learn patiently. Fuzzy is calmer, more responsive and Anne has taught me how to handle him when he is all wired up. Anne keeps her kennels clean, feeds the dogs well and takes good care of them. I never told her this, but when she called him Fuzz-ball, it made me happy because we call him that at home. I'd leave you with the following takeaways 1. If you have a big dog, especially a Shepherd, they are not like other dogs and need a certain type of training. Anne is a great trainer. 2. Anne has a strong personality, is incredibly direct, has very little patience and will make you uncomfortable but it is all part of the learning process for the humans who got these dogs in the first place. She wore a hoodie with these words and they say it all - "easily offended = easily manipulated". 3. Her boarding charges are economically unheard of (in a good way) for what she offers. But she has strict requirements, specific timings and may not give a damn about who you are. Her focus is the dog. If you are willing to accept Anne's working style and training methods, you will not regret it. You may not agree with everything she believes in and that's ok. If you are looking for a lovey dovey engagement style, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Not all dogs are the same, but for Shepherds, Anne is the best I have come across. I wish her well and will continue to seek her business services for as long as she is in business.

Over the past two months, I've been here approximately 6-7 times with our three dogs for exams, vaccines, and an unexpected surgery for my mom's dog, whom I also recommended to this hospital. The surgery itself went well, and the cost was actually very reasonable considering the procedure. Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The wait times have been long at nearly every visit. I understand that emergencies happen, but what concerns me more is how clients are treated by the front office staff and office manager. They often come across as dismissive, lacking compassion, and sometimes even condescending. Instead of simply relaying information, they sometimes seem to offer medical explanations that should really come directly from the veterinarian. When I asked to speak with the veterinarian to clarify questions about my dog's care, I was repeatedly routed through several staff members before getting any answers. That process was frustrating and unnecessary. After my mom's dog's surgery, I expected a little more compassion and guidance. Instead, it felt like we were rushed out the door. We received only limited explanations about medications, dosing schedules, and post-operative care. The focus seemed to be on scheduling the next appointment rather than making sure we understood how to care for our pet at home. When we asked why another appointment was necessary, the only explanation given was, "The doctor said so." During one visit, while waiting for my pet, there were three employees at the front desk, yet no one acknowledged me for about 20 minutes. Even after finally checking in, I continued waiting without any updates. Because this has happened repeatedly over multiple visits--not just once--I don't believe these are isolated incidents. The veterinarians appear knowledgeable, and the pricing has been fair. However, the front office is often the first and last interaction clients have, and unfortunately, it leaves a negative impression. I genuinely hope management addresses the customer service experience because I would like to continue bringing my pets here. As it stands, though, I am considering taking my business elsewhere unless I see meaningful improvement.

Backstory: one of my dogs woke up on a Friday unable to open his eye, which quickly turned into an infection and I spent 2 days trying to find a vet / urgent care to take him to near my home in North Hollywood. Every hospital in LA that I called, I was either met with an immediate "hello, please hold" (for 20 minutes), capacity already met, an absurd wait time with no promise of being seen, or unsympathetic staff saying "an eye infection is not an emergency". I called SC Animal Urgent Care & Wellness Center at 7:08pm on a SUNDAY, arrived at 7:45pm and was seen by Dr. Mousa by 7:55pm! From the second the receptionist answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. She was extremely compassionate & quickly took my information, along with my dogs symptoms and told me to come right in to be seen by Dr. Mousa. Dr. Mousa is a GOD SEND!!! I am so blessed to have found him. Dr. Mousa examined & handled my dog with so much care and explained that he had an corneal ulcer which was quickly deteriorating his cornea and that if I had not brought him in immediately, he would have lost his eye (which was still a possibility at that point due to the 2 day wait trying to find a vet/hospital). Dr. Mousa's urgency along with his care, compassion and knowledge is the type of service you expect and deserve when you go to a hospital concerned, stressed and scared for your dog. Lexi (vet assistant) is phenomenal & so sweet!!! Lexi treated my dog like he was her own and she explained every step of what was happening and why, then what would be next. She even shared a story about her cat with me to show how she related to me in that moment. They are an amazing team and will give your pets the best car!

STAY CLEAR. Don't waste your money on their group classes. The young girl in charge rushes through a script and it does not matter if your dog is not responding to the training, they move on regardless. It is NOT at all personable, I was not welcomed into the class nor did the trainer even bother to introduce herself to me, it is like I wasn't even there. She clearly just has a script, it's more like a lecture than an actual class. If I wanted a lecture I would look up dog training on YouTube. The information comes so fast and rushed and it isn't fun or productive and I really just felt like I wasted an hour of my time. Everything is so rushed, maybe it was a bad day but I got the impression she didn't really care to be there and was just going through the motions. Why be a dog trainer if you clearly have no passion for it????? Maybe she was just a stand in or still learning because surely there are better options for your LEAD TRAINER!! And no, you cannot select a different coach. If you are going to offer classes, make it worth while for PAYING CLIENTS. It just seems like they're trying to make a quick buck rather than give you your money's worth. The other employees were just rude and preoccupied with the puppy mill like situation going on there. Truly, the state of the house/office was appalling, so many puppies sitting in close quarters and it was just a mess. None of them were clean and so many were standing in their own feces I really had a bad feeling about what was going on there... I couldn't bare to be there and just left! NEVER COMING BACK!!! This posting is in response to John P.'s review. John P. has never been a client and we suspect is a competitor for "him" to post this. No dog died while in the care of Sunny Day Acres. A friend of the owner of SDA asked her to watch her dog at her house with her own dogs. This was not a SDA client. The dog came on medication. 2 days later, it showed weakness and Jennifer had the dog taken to the emergency Vet. The dog passed 3 days later. No necropsy showed mistreatment and in fact showed the dog had long standing bacterial pneumonia. Animal control did not try to shut down Sunny Day Acres. They found no negligence in their investigation. The new location was in the works for 2 years before moving to this location and had nothing to do with the dog that passed. Sunny Day Acres has an A rating with Animal Control and that can be verified with them. Also slander, defamation, and libel are very serious offenses that we will pursue. read more

I did a board & train for my dog at Sunny Day Acres and was absolutely thrilled with my experience. Jennifer Gray has been training dogs, wolves, and other animals for almost 30 years, and I definitely saw the results of having a trainer with such a wealth of experience. The kennels are beautiful, they offer outdoor dog houses with private dog runs attached and have plush beds, turf, and air conditioning! There is also an indoor kennel with an attached play yard. This property is amazing, in that Jennifer owns the 88 acres including the mountain. Therefore there are amazing hiking trails for the dogs. I found out SDA also takes in sanctuary animals that no one else wants and Jennifer cares for them and pays for them out of her own pocket. Rescue is near and dear to my heart, so I was happy to learn this. My dog came back to me after 2 weeks healthy, happy, and much improved. Thank you Jennifer and SDA! read more

Jennifer and the entire crew at Sunny Day Acres has made a world of difference for us and for our dogs. We always adopt adult dogs from the county shelter and have had bad habits to resolve with different dogs over the years. A few years ago though we really had our hands full with a beautiful one-year old Rottweiler mix full of b-o-u-n-d-l-e-s-s energy and little impulse control. After a year of struggling we found Jennifer. She helped us immediately see hope and over the years has given us greater confidence in working with our dogs. Most importantly she has widened the world for our dogs - we can absolutely take them with us many places that we would not have felt capable without her training. We have boarded our dogs with her even though it is a significant drive for us because there is no one else we trust as much to see the best in our girls and thus bring out their best. read more

Sunny Day Acres is wonderful! We love the group classes, they're a wonderful way to socialize your dogs in a safe environment as well as build a bond through diverse activities like agility, swimming, and search and rescue. They teach you how to work with your dog in different settings and understand them better. I am so impressed with this rescue. They go above and beyond to help animals. They helped me with a litter of pups that a stray dog had on our property. We kept momma but had to find homes for 9 adorable pups. I can't say enough great things. read more

And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

She has hands on experience in all areas of dog behavior and training, but specifically wrote a book on this topic called "Keeping the Peace: A Guide to Solving Dog-Dog Aggression in the Home" that is a great compliment to the private sessions we've been doing with her.
