This was well overdue update. We had a great experience all in all. I'm going to list what we liked. 1. All the office staff are wonderful as are many of the handlers / supervisors 2. Midhi the trainer is incredible! What he did and continued to do after our pups were boarded was worth every penny. 3. Outdoor cage free environment 4. Kennel free overnight 5. Live video link 6. Responsiveness of the staff This was a great alternative to a typical dog boarding facility but there are some trade off to enable them to board these dogs in a pack environment. In our case that meant our dogs mostly wore prong collars during the day. This was necessary as our dogs are typical juvenile golden doodles and had a tendency to rile up the pack and be overly playful. I had no problem with the prong collar, as our dogs were there for training too, the only issue was how badly matted their necks became because of it. Wearing a prong collar all day and no brushing once it's removed meant that we had to have our female dog's neck shaved once we got home. PRPR do provide bath and grooming at the owners request and we did a mid point bath and day of pick up bath but they were not properly dried and Bea was still matted. Grooming is not their specialty (or it wasn't in Jan during our stay) There are regular dogs who get to sleep in the same room as the overnight staff, my dogs were never selected for that and that made me a bit sad for them because they LOVE human company. I am incredibly grateful for one of the female overnight staff who stayed in the same room as my pups a number of nights. I know that brought them comfort. This was our first time leaving them so I was obsessive when watching the live stream, whenever I noticed something (such as them being separated at night) I could call and the staff would immediately correct it. They were incredibly responsive. Lastly I want to shout out the training, this has changed our lives and our relationship with our dogs. Before PRPR, walking our dogs was not enjoyable, not only has the training that they received at PRPR changed that but the continued sessions with Midhi after we collected our dogs helped us work on recall, taught us how to use an e collar and essentially we now have two dogs that we can confidently allow off leash. This is a huge accomplishment when I tell you that we couldn't walk our dogs on a leash prior to their stay at PRPR. In short, most of us would rather not board our dogs but when it's necessary I wouldn't hesitate to use PRPR again.

This place is the best. My dog Rocky goes for daycare 2-3 times a week and stays over there whenever I need to go out of town. They are great people and Rocky is always excited to see his handlers. I'm really grateful I found it and it's become an indispensable part of our lives. Highly recommend checking it out.

So well mannered after a week of board & train

What a gem for board & train! I looked at 3 places and none even compared to Paradise. From the moment I did the tour, I knew my puppy would be in excellent hands. The office staff were helpful and kind. Shoutout Serenity and Sheri. As a new pup owner I had never left my dog and had many questions. They patiently explained the process. Firstly, the 24/7 cameras throughout the oasis provided incredible peace of mind. The grounds are gorgeous and landscaped like a resort. My dog hadn't really been around a lot of dogs so I was excited for him to get the socialization within a controlled environment. It really felt like canine summer camp. The night staff deserves a special shout-out for their attentiveness. On one occasion, I called in with a concern about an incident I saw with my pup and another dog. They immediately handled it WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE. I was able to watch on the app in real time. They displayed the utmost professionalism and care. It's evident they genuinely love and understand animals. I thought it was so sweet to see staff sleeping in some of the rooms with the pups at night. Even saw one of the girls give my Biscuit a bedtime hug and it totally eased my mind from 2500+ miles away. Moreover, the training programs offered at Paradise Pet Resort are stellar. My dog came back not only happy but also better behaved! The trainers clearly have a knack for understanding each pet's unique needs and tailoring their approach accordingly. The private lesson to train me at pickup was so helpful. Overall, Paradise Pet Resort exceeded my expectations on every front. Clean facilities (so impressed how they clean and sanize EVERY single room daily), friendly staff, and a genuine commitment to pet care make this place stand out. Biscuit can't wait to return for some pool time. Thank you all for the love, care, and patience you pour into the dogs

Paradise Ranch Pet Resort is an amazing place to send your dog. The staff is incredible, they are extremely helpful if you have any questions while your pet is staying at the resort. We loved to watch our 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle, Rosie through their 20 plus cameras while we were traveling. One day we were a little concerned that she was not playing with other dogs so we called. The staff knew which dog and why. They said she was an absorber and liked to watch other dogs. They told us she did not eat at first but was eating fine now. We were amazed that they had a chart on her and it was all share with us so clearly. During her stay we also paid for her to go through a training session with Mihdi. He is so kind and gentle with the dogs. Rosie loved him and obeyed him so well and of course we were challenged to keep up the standards he gave us. We even sent her in a second time for training and it went very well has expected. Mihdi, gave us more tips and helped us with solutions on how to deal with our over active Rosie. She is 2 years old now and is very trained. She knows all her commands but as Mihdi says it is all left up to us to show her that we are in charge. I highly recommended this Pet Resort for boarding and training. They have been a big help in Rosie's training and development. Joseph and Anthony

I need to correct the name on my previous review. It was Natalie that helped me off the cliff when I was a panicking mom, not Nicole. She's an angel and my Toby Keith and I appreciate her kindness!!

I've boarded my 2 German shepherds at Paradise Ranch Pet Resort many times. I appreciate the ability to check in on them while traveling international..and believe me, I have done so at different hours of the night and seeing them safe and in good hands has given me peace while traveling. :) The handlers have always been great with my dogs (Angel has always been a favorite of theirs), and have earned their trust...plus I love the ground rotations, which keeps the dogs from getting bored. Whenever I pick them up, they sleep for at least a full day+.

What is the total number of dogs in an outdoor yard that each handler is responsible for supervising ? How many days are pools open for dogs to go in the water? And what is the maximum number dogs assigned to each room at nighttime for sleeping?

About 10 dogs per handler. Three pools open daily. Dogs per room at night depends on the room. Some rooms are like bedrooms, 2-4 dogs. But the living room can have many dogs.…

Do you separate large dogs from smaller ones? What if it's too hot outside, do the dogs stay indoors?

How much is it for a day pass to take my pup here for a few hours so she can play in the pool?

Do you take dogs to board while owner is out of town?

Yes I have left mine for 2 weeks going overseas. I want my dogs to have a good vacation too.

Hi. How much is it for 5 days?

Is the pool included in daycare or do they only have access to the "waterpark" at daycare?

It can be included in daycare but you need to mention it to the office staff upon drop off. Otherwise, they have access to the water park during the afternoon.

Do they have to be neutered or no?

yes of course. All dogs need to be neutered for any daycare, obedience and other classes

Is it possible just to come for a few hours just to watch how my pup does with water or is this place more for day care/boarding?

They make appointments to evaluate your dog and see how he or she will relate to the other dogs in the facility. Also they have cameras you can watch dogs as they play or sleep. I see they seem to separate them by general sizes for sleeping and some…

Greyson was reactive, and even the jingle of another dog's collar or hearing a bark would immediately set him off. Walks and outings were stressful because I was constantly worried about how he would react. From the very beginning, Emily was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping both of us succeed. Greyson has completed private training sessions and a board and train with Emily and her team, and the progress has been incredible. One of the biggest improvements has been in his reactivity. Since working with Emily, he has become much more focused, calmer, and better able to work through situations that would have previously triggered a reaction. Not only has his reactivity improved, but his obedience, confidence, and overall behavior have as well. What I liked most was that Emily didn't just work with Greyson. She also took the time to explain things to us and show us how to continue the training at home. What I appreciated most was that Emily was honest about the process. She didn't promise overnight results or a quick fix. Instead, she gave us a clear plan, realistic expectations, and the tools we needed to continue helping Greyson succeed. She was always available to answer questions and support us throughout the process. It's clear that Emily and her team genuinely care about the dogs they work with and want both the dogs and their owners to be successful. As a dog owner, there is no better feeling than knowing your dog is in good hands, and I completely trust Emily and her team with Greyson. The amount of dedication, knowledge, and care they put into their work is amazing. We are beyond grateful for everything they have done for Greyson and our family. If you're looking for a trainer who truly cares, takes the time to understand your dog, and delivers real results, I highly recommend Emily's K9 Training. Working with Emily and her team has been one of the best investments we've made for Greyson, and we look forward to continuing our training journey with them.

I cannot say enough good things about bouquet kennels. What…read morean absolute blessing it is to have a safe space for my Luna. We rescued Luna in February. And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

I remembered from my previous experience with Charlie that they preferred being paid in cash so when they sent me the invoice I asked if paying in cash was okay and they said that was fine. They also had stated I would be getting a slight discount ($36 a night instead of the normal $40 a night). Then at 5 am the morning of drop off I get a long paragraph stating that there was a convenience fee being added on as I didn't prepay. As it was literally the day before I had to leave, I felt no choice but to pay as I didn't have many options. The convenience fee was basically the same difference the discount Charlie gave was (I think it made my new total 3 or 4 dollars less than the original $40 a night would have added up to be). Then when I paid Charlie in person they didn't have any change and said they would give me the difference upon pickup. They also had stated that pickup was after 7 pm and when I texted them that I was on my way at around 7 pm that would be would get there at 7:15 ish. I did not get response until I had pulled up that Charlie needed to get dressed and that I needed to wait. After leaving for my trip, I texted to check in two days in a row before I got a response. Charlie said that they had sent photos and videos but I had not received anything and that things were fine. As I was traveling and only able to be on WiFi, I just passed it off as an error on my end even though all our messages were I-message and should have had any issues with sending photos. Then the next day I get text from Charlie asking if I can come after three for pickup. The stay was booked for two more and I reminded them of that. It was stated in my first submission through their website's online form as well as the invoice they had sent me in the same message thread. I will commend Charlie on being super flexible when I told them with issues with my flights being delayed as well as customs issues. I made sure to tip more heavily as they did me a huge favor. However pickup happened without them being present even when I offered to come by later when they would be around. It was not until the next day (after some much needed sleep) that I noticed some wounds/scratches on my cat that I was never informed about. If Charlie would have reached out and let me know beforehand, I would have been understanding as I know my cat was not the only one in residence upon drop off. There is a scratch on my cat's nose, a bulky scab on the interior of one of my cat's ears, and what feels like more scratches on the back of her head and neck.
