This past winter, we noticed GOBS AND GOBS of sediment / sand which appears to be sliding down our roof, lining our gutters, and after heavy rains littering the downspouts exits. We called this contractor in MARCH 2023 after a heavy rain just to ASK for someone to come out and see if we might have a faulty batch of product and get advice whether we outght to pursue help from the manufacturer. After repeated attempts to call, email, and even work via the insurance companies, it is now mid-November and other than kind and timely correspondence from a reliable Administrative Assistant, the "powers that be" there have made NO GESTURE WHATSOEVER to even return calls or respond to emails, let alone help a former customer understand our options. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR establishing a relationship with a professional vendor who gives even the slightest care for past customers... I recommed looking elsewhere. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Not only did he vacuum any construction dust, debris, etc. but he also cleaned the unit as well with a great smelling lemon cleaner. There was one minor thing wrong and he went back to the office and brought the right thing right away no questions asked. I would highly recommend New Space. One competitor I looked into had a significant amount of bad reviews on the BBB and social media. Other competitors tried high pressure and others were about gimmicks. They spot tuckpointed the sides, back, foundation of my home, they also removed and replaced all of my window sill morter at all of my windows. They removed and replaced all of the perimeter bricks from my front porch, they also removed all of the loose, chipped, damaged concrete on my front porch and resurfaced the whole porch with 2" of concrete and restructured my front steps leading to the porch. This is one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. After trying to get a bid from Terry Larson for many weeks, he was unresponsive but after writing an honest review about how he would not respond, he contacted me immediately, apologized profusely and promised to help me get my job done. I took the review down as I believed him as he appeared sincere. Terry Larson personally measured my house, dropped of sample boards of siding and sent me a bid the end of June. He told me to inform the insurance company my siding was no longer available. I took care of the insurance company, which took a few months and was able to get the siding approved. I made several attempts to contact Terry Larson to assist him in getting more money than what the insurance company would pay and he completely ignored me - refusing to respond. The owner, Terry Larson, does not honor his word once given and no one answers the phone, responds to messages or calls back. Bryan Hershfeld recommended me to Larson Exteriors as he claimed he was starting to work for them and was getting business cards. He wanted me to give out business cards to my neighbors, which I would have done. I had hired Mr. Hershfeld to do some work on other properties. While he was at my home, he damaged my property then refused to return calls or repair the damages. Terry Larson validated that Bryan Hershfeld was working with him. Zero starts all the way. In response to Terry Larson's response posted 10/11/24: I have extensive experience with construction contractors for 30 years. Terry Larson, Larson Exteriors and Bryan Hershfeld don't appear to realize that running a business requires actually answering the phone, following up, doing what they promise, responding to text messages and emails, detailing their scope of work in writing and being honest with customers. This is not rocket science. It's common sense. Unfortunately during these very strange times, there are a lot of posers and scammers out there that put up websites and claim to do various construction services but only want to collect money up front without actually doing anything ... claiming its' for "materials". Also adding to the mix, I'm in Chicago and the house is in St. Louis, I did make trips down when it was needed. It did all start at Home Depot, review coming soon. I've done a kitchen here with HD and it worked out well. So after getting the run around in STL no shows for appointments, people that showed up and no bid, or showed up and bid was outrageous to showed up and it was too cheap leaving you to wonder, what will be the quality of the work? I felt this was the way to go, sure I could've saved a few bucks, but I'd rather have it be done well and have a year warranty. This was a top to bottom job, a small wall came out, soffits and electrical was removed, as well as very worn flooring. I had the old cabinets removed to save on some of the demo. After I finalized the design with MaryLynne at HD, a very competent and patient person dealing with my changes, I want an island, no lets make it a peninsula, I want these cabinets, well no, lets get those, etc. There were several bid packages. You need a final one then you sit down with with Hallmark. This is when I met Scott, we did get the finalized plan done and proceeded to get on the schedule. I had to let them know when my cabinets were delivered, once there in my garage they came out and verified that everything they needed was there for the project. They put together a project schedule in writing. I loved this It listed what was being done and by who, the date it was to.start and be completed. We stayed very close to the schedule, minor hiccups. I worked with Terry as the foreman, when I couldn't be there we facetimed or he sent pics. It was helpful that I've done this before, however, his excellent communication skills helped. The team doing the work, couldn't be better. The office staff also helpful. Everyone made what could be a very difficult experience, one that I could get through.

They charged way more than what was originally quoted (Which final measurements that happens) But when they forgot to do their job they wouldn't come back and install the dishwasher bracket and wanted to charge $200.00 for something they should have supplied out of the three times it was mentioned. Highly suggest not using them. Their customer service feels like you are talking to a robot and they are not sorry for any misunderstanding or hiccup in your project. Buyer Beware!!!!
