I didn't know what the business would be, but there was great attention to detail in the craftsmanship during the remodel. It opened as a barber shop with a stylist in the back of the salon. On a whim, I decided to see if they accepted walk-ins so I could get my hair trimmed. The barber I spoke with was polite, but said he didn't cut women's hair, and suggested I speak with the stylist. She informed me that she was booked a full week in advance, so I left. As I got to my car, I decided to give the barber a shot, if he would take me as a client; after all, when I was stationed at 29 Palms, John the Barber cut my hair like a pro. I asked him again if he could just trim up the sides and back, and he admitted that he did not know how to cut women's styles, so I suggested he just clean it up like a little boy's haircut. Reluctantly, he cut my hair. It was PERFECT. There was no need for him to be worried. He cleaned up my neckline better than any stylist ever has, and I LOVE HIM FOR IT. The barber is a craftsman and just like the attention to detail which was paid to the renovation of his building, he took great care in my cut, even though I was indifferent. I will definitely go back. I will add some photos of this quaint little joint as soon as I get this posted.

Beyond an initial reply, there is no follow up whatsoever to any questions or scheduling attempts for a new client. Poor customer service.

She then rescheduled me with an older stylist which is whatever right? I was like ok I'll trust the process. I get there a couple minutes late because of major road work and traffick. I call them because I couldn't see anything about their business from the parking lot and (mind you) I'm from out of state. "Texas seems to forget they're made up of mostly and mainly immigrants, or "out of towners" So anyway, I called while being less than 10 minutes late. Tell me how this lady cancels my appointment for the second time. I'm actually glad that I didn't trust my head with these old hags because first of all I asked for a portfolio of the work they do and I was told by both stylist that they don't actually have any proof of their own work and that the pics online was not infact their own actual work. So I'm just suppose to trust the process first, right¿, then go off of a whem because they "say" that they have skills? Well, I think not!. Thank God I didn't have to rep these people in my next photo shoot. The kicker is that now i try to go click on their website listed and tell me how its gonna ask me to make a site instead of showing the information for the salon. Jesus women.
