My review is based on my most recent experience here when getting a acrylic fill. I had one acrylic nail broken and the rest were fine. She see fixed the broken one and the. Carried on with the fill. I asked for thick and square shape, which she did in fact do so I was happy about that. I'm happy with my results just not happy about getting cut twice during the fill. I mean does getting a fill have to be painful?!?! I don't think it should be. You're paying for a service and should receive what you paid for. It's like well if you cut me burn me or inflict pain it should take away from the goods and services trade. If the services not good then you get less of a trade, discount on price. I'm frustrated when nail salons try to justify that cutting you and making you bleed is normal or "it happens"... No it shouldn't be. If you want your full amount then best be making sure it don't happen. read more

This place is FANTASTIC!!! They did a great job on my pedicure! Sunny is a sweet heart, and the girl working with her who did my pedicure was great! I will DEFINITELY come here when I'm in town! Wonderful experience. "Sunny" gave a wonderful pedi/mani with great attention to detail. Massage chair was fabulous.., one of the only salons in big bear with massage chairs. Great!!! Sunny also gave a wonderful foot and hand massage! Unexpected and greatly appreciated. Overall the shop and chairs are super clean and you can see she takes pride in providing a nice experience and superb service. I called several places to get a weekend appointment and when Sunny responded it was meant to be ... I will be back and call in advance to make sure I can get in. As a side note, I met her husband and daughter and really hit it off with this sweet family. So enjoyed meeting the whole family. Wish them all the best and success. OK so I am a guy not a woman and I probably cannot make as many distinctions in quality as women can because I get a manicure maybe once every few months. That said, I was able to make a same-day appointment; all of the other manicure places I called told me they were completely booked up and could not help me and I would need to book several days in advance in big bear. The staff was very friendly, even though I was late, the location was small, it looks like they could accommodate three people getting Manicures/Pedicures at one time. I may not be using the right terminology but I enjoyed sitting in the recliner with the heated water for my feet and a manicure pedicure occurring simultaneously. $40 total for mani/pedi. Amazing mani/pedis! I don't live in big bear but I visit a few times a year and I have had Sunny do my nails twice now. Both times I was blown away with her skills and left the salon very happy! To my knowledge this is the only salon in big bear that has the massage spa pedicure chairs. This salon has a very relaxing environment and I enjoyed coming here, I will most definitely be back. Also I love that Sunny is a perfectionist when it came to the gel nail polish. She made sure to get paint on the entire nail all the way to the edges and after every coat of paint she went around each nail with a brush to clean up any paint on my skin. I showed her the designs that I wanted for my nails and toes and she gave me exactly what I asked for without even having to see the pictures again. Sunny knows what she is doing. My new go to salon for pampering! After a long hard work week this is the place to go to unwind and rejuvenate. First off, Sunny is just a pleasure to interact with, this salon was very clean and my nail technician was interactive (Definitely not something I'm used to with a majority of salons I have visited). I decided to really treat myself with both a manicure and pedicure this time and WOW is all I can say! Besides my hands and toes turning out beautiful with fresh polish, the hand and foot massage was at the least to say euphoric. Sunny really took her time and even showed me some of the pressure points in both my fingers and toes! I honestly can't wait for my next appointment.
