Me and my husband tried this place because it's local and we wanted to support local business. It's a wife and husband tandem. The wife was absolutely amazing. But the husband, was so rude. This guy doesn't know what good customer service means. He would be irritated and giving me a look when am turning my head talking to my husband, even if my hand was just still and doesnt affect him doing my nails. It seems like he wanted me to just sit there be quiet and be a statue. I only responded to my husband's question once and yet he got irritated and gave me a rude look. Good light music, quiet atmosphere to relax, no over talking or nosey questions. I like that they ask you before they start or continue. I had Gin a petite lady do my gel full set and regular pedicure with gel lots of extras that I haven't seen any other salons do in a long time like, aromatherapy lotions, exfoliating scrub all over leg and feet, scrubbing bottom feet, lotions, massage techniques, detailed filing etc.. definitely precision on service. I came back on Saturday and got the worst manicure ever. I seriously could and would have done a better job at home. Why i decided for both a mani and pedi and waste almost 40 bucks was beyond me. A small little place located in the town of Running Springs, across from Jensens Store. We walked in even though they do have appts. However several ladies walked in without appts. Very pleased with my gel nails and especially the price, You can't their prices. Would cost me more to drive down the mountains in gas, plus the nail place that I normally go to double charges what we paid here. I'm a local and go here because it's convenient. It's a husband and wife team and she is very nice. I hope they stay open so please go there but ask for her. And She does a great job! BUT...He IS RUDE. David, I understand that you are quiet but not responding to direct questions, looking us straight in the eye when spoken to, or rudely forcing my hand to turn it IS BASIC MANNERS. Especially when it's your business and these are your customers! You're a bad businessman. Suck it up! Force a smile! And be polite and respectful or lose business! Absolutely horrible! Worst customer service ever!!! I called to make an appointment for a mani/pedi at the same time. When I arrived at my appointment I reminded the gentlemen that I wanted both at the same time and he said yes we will do that. In comes in a walk-in and there goes my pedicure. I asked what happened and now they said they don't do mani/pedi's at the same time. I've had both done at the same time before! What the? I would give it negative stars if I could. I'm a local and EVERY single time I go here I'm absolutely shocked these people are in business. The guy is totally rude and could care less if you live or die... seriously. The acrylic nails are done with the most awful acrylic in the world and then they saw them down to nothing so you have to get a fill in 5 days. Pedicure i paid $40 for and they look worse on the bottom then when I walked in there. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!! Save your money and go run through a pile of crap filled with glitter instead!!! 3 attempts at trying them out. I wont be going back.The man that works here is lacking customer service and treats the gal that works here with disrespect. He doesnt speak to anyone and when he does you cant understand him. He took in walk ins that needed a pedicure yet a few minutes before I asked if my child could get a pedicure and he said they are all booked. When someone tried to call in for an apt he also told them they are booked. When people walked in he didnt talk with them and left it up to her to talk to them which she would then turn around and obliviously in Vietnamese ask if they could get a pedicure. He still never looked at the client and let her handle it. He seemed very irritated when I asked the simplest of questions and so everyone was just sitting there quietly and I couldnt wait to leave. I had even mentioned that it was my birthday and he didnt even say anything. So sad that this woman feels that she has to work for this person and I hope to god that he is not her husband. The man there is rude, doesnt care what you want, he will argue with you about it and then give you an attitude. More expensive than other salons, and much worse quality.
