My son goes to Brighten Academy. He has been going their for a year. We started him about 3 months…read moreafter age 2 due to the wait list. There are a couple of great things I would like to highlight. 1. They learn things in themes which is so cool. He came home this week and was telling me about camping and the stuff we would need. We have never been camping but he comes home with new information. 2. He didn't have to be potty trained. They helped us and we tried at home. Personally I think he took longer because his little brother was born when he was 2 1/2 so it was a huge transition in life for him. 3. I don't have to pack him a lunch. Some schools I looked into I had to pack a lunch. Honestly I am so busy that adding one more thing before I go to bed or to do in the morning is rough. I already pack all my pumping supplies daily in order to feed his little brother. Now here is the thing that makes the school truly exceptional... they know everyone's name. When I walk in the door, the front desk and the teachers all know my son and every other kids' names. That is just awesome. There is a reason why they are the people's choice. I just had the most awful experience. I am really disappointed. I called various sites in Clovis…read morearea to find this Austin site had 3 full days. I told them that my son is three and still has a hard time transitioning to pooping on the toilet. He doesn't feel comfortable. He literally is outta diapers and then begs me to put a diaper on so he can poop. Working on that with him. He doesn't have issues at night for 9-10 hours or during naps. He poops once a day. I told them that he's getting better and I expect him to be out of diapers completely by one month. They were so understanding on the phone. Told me they have a class of 19 with two teachers and since he's not 4 yet they would help and it wouldn't be an issue. I drove here today and I am literally guessing but more than likely this is true. Everything they told me over the phone was not true. They did not have the three full days open, she told me to start when he's fully potty trained and I felt so very uncomfortable the entire time. I felt as if it was due to his religion/ race I got some special unwanted treatment. I myself grew up experiencing racism but not like this. I was born in England and lived most of my life in the states. I have immigrant parents and I felt some racism here and there but not like this or maybe I don't remember. I was hurt that the conversation on the phone one day before was different than what I experienced. One of the girls working there told me that should would put a hold on the days for me for 24 hours. Today I drove here for a completely unknown experience that was full of run around statements. I have worked with kids and I was a nicu nurse for years. I been busy with grad school and he's just having pooping issues. He doesn't have accidents and he's still learning. I know their statements were all excuses. This was so sad to experience for me. I expected better. I will never recommend this place to family and friends. They loss some business. I hope they read this and will do better. There are no excuses for this behavior for kids. I checked out another day care who were way nicer in town. If I am an adult and you treat me like I am an idiot then I can't imagine how you would treat my son when I am not there.

My oldest child has been going there since she was around a year and a half, and is about to age…read moreout only because she's going to be attending Kindergarten at an elementary school not in Clovis Unified. Enrolling her here was my saving grace when I went back to work, and it still is. Seeing how excited she is everyday to tell me about everything she learned and about how good her day was is the best feeling for a parent. Enrolling is not cheap, but it's worth every penny. We enjoy the summer activities, holiday festivities and everything else they put together for the kids and families. It was an easy decision when it came to enrolling our second child. And since we already had that rapport built with the administrative staff and great relationships with the teachers, we were still comfortable starting our child in the infant classroom (even though our first didn't start there). Zero regrets. The app is great for communicating the Ms. Tasha and the teachers. Response times are great, and the attitudes of the teachers are always positive. We love KinderCare and our kids love being there too.

I know every single time my girls are there, they are being both loved and nurtured, as well as learning educational things AND daily life things. there is no dollar value on care like this. bring your babies here. you won't regret it. and as someone who is a teacher here, I promise, firsthand, we love your babies and would do anything for any of them. just expressing my gratitude after a great trunk or treat event that they clearly worked so hard on

As a long time yelper, i can honestly say, this place is pretty good. I mean does it have room for improvement, sure, what place does not but that's the beauty of growth. Prior to putting my two kids in Clovis Christian school I homeschooled them. I put them here…read morebecause I thought it would be a safe place for them with biblical based standards. The principal, Mrs. Bonjorni is a bully and displays favoritism on how she treats some children. This can be verified by other parents. The children's tablets were not protected from access to inappropriate websites. A boy in my son's class told him about a website and then said don't look it up and out of curiosity he did anyway. I couldn't have been prepared that at a Christian school my son and all the 3rd graders in his class would have unsupervised access to adult websites and than the heartbreak and hard conversations I had to have with my 3rd grader. He was exposed to an inappropriate website at a Christian school with the schools tablets. During Friday freetime he was with a group of boys who also seen the website. One of the kids told his dad who told my son about it and they confirmed the name of the boy who had told him about the website, but parents were never notified of that. As a result some parents assumed his knowledge of the website came from home, which it did not. It was verified by a witness whose dad told the principal about the young boy who told my son about it. Soon after My daughter began to be mistreated by the principal with rude comments. The day before the last day of school Principal Mrs. Bonjorni yelled at my daughter for wearing jeans instead of swim clothes on water day. A teacher let me know about the situation so I went to the school to pick up my kids. I confronted Mrs Bonjorni and that very same day she fired the teacher out of pure evil and retaliation. There is no accountability here, especially since the owner of the school is the principal Mrs. Bonjorni. The port-a potty restrooms were unsanitary. The walls would be smeared with poo and very hot and at times had no toilet
