Great neighborhood park with a lot of amenities, including playground with swings, basketball, baseball, and picnic areas. Walking trail around the perimeter is about a quarter mile. Much nicer grassy area compared to Entradero. It's also a reclaimed water park so no access to drinking water. No bathroom either, but I feel most people who go here would just walk home if needed. Very tiny park with lots of sunshine! I love the simplicity. I walked with my dogs and it's clean and so quiet although along the Del Amo Blvd. Only one missing star is for no bathroom. read more

Nice park and playground. I like the walking path and exercise options. There is a few picnic tables o two large ones being covered for events rental. No restrooms. Water fountain doesn't work. Torrance lets this parks grass get crazy long before mowing. Can get muddy in places. Coyotes seen there a lot but love the trees and the green grass. Summer it smells as they use reclaimed water so I wouldn't sit or let your children be in grass with uncovered skin or wash them immediately after. It's usually clean and most people pick up after their dogs. Have pet training classes there and baseball and basketball. read more

Nice park in Redondo Beach with a nice kids play area. Clean and well maintained. They have several picnic benches and tables. They have 2 basketball hoops as well. However, there are no bathrooms here and no dedicated parking lot, it's all street parking. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. read more

A good sized open space off Del Amo Blvd. Well kept and usually very green. My dog seemed to like it here and had a decent amount of sniffing to do. My dog is older and moves slowly, and the dog parks we've been trying out seem to intimidate her. Plus the people parks are cleaner and kept up much better. Sunnyglen is mostly grass which is cleaner in my opinion. I know most of our area parks frown on dogs at people parks but when your dog is a whole 11 pounds, is almost 13 years old and moves with the speed of a sleeping turtle, it shouldn't matter what park you take your dog too. People parks or dog parks it's good to get some nature into your day. Enjoy!! read more

Sunnyglen Park is a perfect size neighborhood park that's got just about everything. There is fitness/walking course that we like to take a stroll on, plenty of green space for a game of touch football or kiting, basketball courts, baseball diamond, kid,s sandbox and a picnic/bbq area. You will know you are at the right park when you see the tilted patio canopy. Apparently the ground has been sinking for a long time now and the structure is seriously tilted. Not a problem... that is until it tilts on to you. Next time? Maybe I'll bring my cat to take doggie obedience classes. read more

This is a great park with no bathrooms. The playground equipment is brand new. There is a quarter-mile jogging path that is perfect for kids who are beginning to ride their bikes and scooter. There is a lame basketball court. The park has little hills to play on and a picnic gazebo area. There are always people waking their dogs and exercising on the adult equipment. read more

Cute neighborhood park, in full use when I was there last Saturday morning. I took almost 20 photos. It's not flat, it has grassy knolls, and I appreciate knolls! Haha, and some nice shade trees too. There's a fitness course, although the park is not large, and people were using it.....apparently even a trainer with a client. There was a picnic in progress at the covered picnic area, young parents with a couple of little kids. The little girl was on the kiddie play equipment, and the dad was trying to teach his son to shoot hoops on the nearby basketball court. The mom was fixing the food at one of the tables. I thought it was so cool that they came to this smallish park for a day's outing, just to chill with the kids. Thing is....all these nice facilities and I saw no bathrooms anywhere. Not even a porta potty. So I assume the people in the park weren't staying too long, or didn't drink coffee, or lived closeby and went home to use the restroom. Sunnyglen also has a ball field, in the center of the grassy park space. And small picnic areas are scattered throughout the park, complete with barbecues. One of them even had wheelchair access (see pic), very cool. Nice park, needs a potty to make it perfect. 19 photos read more

This is where I get my most work-out, with all the wii games and other gym membership, I still prefer coming here. I like this park where there is a nice jacaranda tree with some picnic tables next to it, the grassy knoll area where the kids can play the nurf toys, the excerise stations, and the two time-capsules which provide some lively discussion topics among my kids. Sometime I see this nice park and rec employee from City of Torrance, we would exchange some pleasantries. I also see my neighbor with his dog here every blue moon, and some other familiar faces. The park needs an update, seriously though. Several parks in Torrance have got the facelift in recent years, maybe it's this one's turn now. No matter what, I still love u, Sunny Glen, because this is my hood. read more

Giving a one star because there were so many parents and children not wearing masks. Too bad, this is a cute park. We will not return.

Small park. Cute. Lots of hills and open space. Nice green grass. Plenty of parking. There is a tiny running trail on it I think. Nice place to have a picnic. There are also benches here, as well as grills. read more

It's alright. The playground equipment needs a huge facelift. It's rusty and not the cleanest. There isn't much for little toddlers to do unless they want to swing the whole time, since the suspension bridge goes from one drop off to the one slide and the other side are those metal climbing bars which aren't great for young toddlers. Plus, is there are baby swings on one side (2) and the bigger kid park has 3. All sand, no rubber turf. One little rocking toy that's old. Just needs a little tlc to keep up with other parks, IMO! Bike racks near the playground is helpful and a nice picnic area is covered. Probably will find a different park to visit, though. read more

Sunnyglen Park is a kind of exercise utility park; I like to stretch there, then run laps. It's also great for playing either soccer or basketball. Tip: If you don't feel like working out, this is also a nice place to just come and eat a sandwich ;-) While this park is relatiavely small, it's roomy enough to give you the space you need to get the job done; it's also quiet and relaxing. read more

What a great park! My biggest (and really only) complaint is there are ZERO bathrooms there or anywhere near it! But I went for a friends party and the patrons (I assume neighbors) were all super friendly, there were bbq pits and even a free dog training class that showed up around 3pm or so, There was plenty of parking and a kids play area as well as a baseball diamond so it was great for everyone. read more

I cruised by this park for the first time yesterday. Didn't even know it existed. Do you want to work out but can''t afford to go to the gym in these recessionary times? This park can be a great alternative. There is a .28 mile walking/jogging path that has various workout stations including pullup bars, sit up boards etc. Noticed a basketball court there too. This park is shaded by oak and Eucalyptus trees and has a little play area if you have kids-swings and such. There are barbecues there too-two i noticed near the street and two that are in the center of the park with tables and a shade covering-pretty nice. I'm not sure how late the park is open--didn't seen any of the traditional park rules signs. I agree with Joan's review. It would be a perfrect 5 stars if only there was a public restroom. read more

I've lived in Redondo for nearly my while life. I've passed by this park numerous times over the years, but I never had a reason to stop by... Today my son is getting his soccer trophy so I finally had the opportunity to check this place out. It's fairly large, lots of open space, an awkward basketball court and a few benches. About a 1/4 mile loop around the park. No bathrooms. Some pull up bars and random other little exercise stations. Half court basketball. Nice play equipment for kids on sandy ground. Picnic area. Plenty of room to run around. A solid neighborhood park except for not having bathrooms. read more

I love this park and the fact that I can run my 30 laps around the park, stretch out on the field, play some basketball, do my soccer training and then just lay out while I eat my sandwich. Good park, keep it clean and safe please. read more

This park is awesome! Love that they have a path that my kids can scoot around in their scooters and basketball court and play structure. And dogs are allowed on leash. Love it! read more

This is honestly my favorite place! It is quite and relaxing. Even though it is a small park it is very spread out so you have space!
