This is camping so there would be bugs in the washroom and they won't always be neat and tidy. There is free warm showers, though when we were there last week one of the showers was broken so there was a bit of a line for the shower. Again, this is camping so shower is a slight luxury. The sites are not that big, then again you don't typically put 3 tents in one site. Most people book multiple sites. I recommend booking the sites by the creek and enjoy the clear cold water there. If you need power, it's an extra $5.00/night for the powered sites. The only issue I had is that the site is near a land quarry so it can get a little noisy at times. That's not really on the campsite though. Here's my Vlog of my recent visit. https://youtu.be/mXwXXM7pktI

Apparently had showers in the front area, but I didn't use them because we left in the morning early anyway. I was there with a bachelor party, so we were probably a lot louder than most guests. The camp staff fortunately was very good about making clear what quiet times are and didn't get pissed at us for being too loud or having a huge fire, they just would come buy and very diplomatically let us know to keep it down. Being cool about it is why I'm giving them 4 stars. See their website for more info on their services.

The office exuded warmth and comfort, complete with a coffee machine and a bowl of candy for guests. Staff members were frequently seen navigating the park in a convenient golf cart, ensuring everything ran smoothly for visitors. The park itself offers a variety of recreational spaces, including a large downhill field with a small podium at the base, as well as a nearby expansive field and a pickleball court. Guests can enjoy a seating area at the top of the hill and there is a nearby shack that provides firewood and propane for convenience. Some of the park's sites include cozy cabins, each furnished with a comfortable chair, desk, and a generous king-size bed, along with a window offering views of the RV area. Every campsite features a personal fire pit and picnic table, ideal for relaxing outdoors.Overall, this RV park combines friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and well-maintained recreational areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant and welcoming environment for their stay.

A bit later I was able to get a sneak peek at the hot water heaters and they were turned all the way down to the lowest possible temperature setting. This maybe fine during the summer but it is now headed into winter and the park refuses to provide hot shower water in the community restroom. Other than the cold shower water, the park is very clean and well maintained.

He asked me to leave the store, he even said that I was banned from the store, that I should leave before he even called police!! He didn't let me finishing my shopping (marshmallow)... A boy in the store said that he would take care of it and he bought the things from us... Everything started when I asked the manager for some minutes to talk. He invited me to his office (in the same store...)... We sat and I explained that I was sad to see what the family room has become. The foosball table, ping pong table, tv, babies area.. everything has been replaced for a table with many plugs to connect cellphones and computers... A big table that it is very tall...too tall for a kid to use has been placed in the middle of the room...it is not an area for kids to play anymore.... His answer was that the family room used to be "a free babysitting area, but not anymore". Then he said: the conversation is over, get out of the store....I said but I wanted to give my point as a mom with kids....we use to play there...it was one of the best family rooms of Thousand trails... OUT! YOU ARE BANNED FROM THIS STORE!! GO OUT BEFORE I CALL POLICE!!! I said that I wanted to finish shopping with my son...he said no...my son left the marshmallow and cookies aside... Many people were in the store...one boy said that he will take care of it..and bought the things for us... I was shocked... Went back to my site... My husband very mad .. The attitude of the manager was shocking.. too rude. We have been members for many years..maybe 5 years... And kids were always very important in Thousand trails... Very sad to see. Sad and scarry. The only real complaint we had was the weather, which isn't their fault, and that we couldn't stay longer. The park is very well cared for and there is a lot going on. It isn't just a big square grid of rvs. It has some character. Park and rec center in the middle either little rows if rvs around it. Lots of bathrooms and showers. Very clean. Cleaned every day. Garbage collection from your site every day. Pool was awesome. Heated just right and really cool couches and cabanas. Staff was fantastic. Every interaction I had was good. They are on top of things and very well organized but more interested in people than the rules. Perfect mix. Thanks guys. We will be back.

We had a really upsetting experience at Camperland RV Resort this past weekend. My partner booked…read morethree sites under her name--a cabin, a trailer, and a tent site--for our family and two others. After hours of travel with six kids, we arrived only to find out she had lost her wallet somewhere en route. She had a photo of her ID, all reservation details, and two adults staying with us who had valid ID and credit card or a visa debit ready to cover the deposit. We also stayed several times that we would pay whatever processing fee to switch the booking to another name in our group. We were told that is was "abnormal" that the adults in our group had different last names and addresses by the owner. Despite the fact that we had three different campsites booked. The front desk staff actually started processing the check-in with one of the adults in our group, but after speaking with the owner, we were told the booking couldn't be transferred, no deposit could be taken from anyone else, and that we had to leave. No flexibility, no understanding--just a flat refusal. And despite not staying a single night or receiving any service, they kept $500 of our money. On Mother's Day weekend. After lots of back and forth the owner offered a credit minus $150 for a future stay. Given the experience we just had we obviously declined the offer as we have no desire to bring our family there again. What's worse is that we've since seen several other reviews with the same story: this owner refusing accommodations or refunds over minor issues and pocketing hundreds under the guise of "policy." These aren't just rules--they're predatory policies created by the owner, and it's clear this is how the owner profits: by charging families full price for nothing regularly. If you've experienced the same, I strongly urge you to report it to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection BC like we did. Businesses like this rely on customers giving up. Don't let them get away with it. This is supposed to be a family-friendly campground--but there is nothing family-oriented about how they treat people. We'll never return, and we hope others think twice before booking. There are SO many other campgrounds in the area that actually value and care about their customers and wouldn't take advantage of unexpected circumstances. We called another campground at 7:00pm they were shocked and couldn't believe the treatment we received. They offered our family a free trailer site, waived our damage deposit, gave us a discount, and offered us late check out for free. That is how a business owner that cares about their community acts. Not like this greedy company.
