Sooo, I rate this place a 3 but will give it a 4 star because the product is "dank"! Lol. That's what the kids say,right? Today, August 6,2024, recreational and medical dispensaries were legally opened in the state of Ohio. A few more other states were made legal today also. I'm in Ohio this week and made sure to pop in and become a part of recreational usage deemed legal. When I got there, I stood outside the door until Security let myself and 2 older men inside. They asked for our ids, input our names in a system, and gave us a ticket. We waited for our names to be called from 2 women who wore carrying tablets, that I later found out that you order from the tablet (or have placed an online order) and then you can go through a fobbed door to access the area where you would pick up what you order, in "the other room". Ok, so "the other room" was weird. They call your name from this tablet, if there for recreational, you're escorted off to a side room. I felt like I was at a timeshare presentation! And they were asking, "what is your budget today ", "oh you have cash, that's even better, no 3% cc fee, we round up to the nearest dollar, and give you cash back". Say what now?!?! A lil creepy. They need to figure out a different system. I was uncomfortable, but about the business, that I came! A $22.50 item ended up costing a total of $35 after their transaction fee and tax. Granted they gave $3.50 back in cash. But still, a $22.50 item ended up costing an additional $10. Not worth it at all and I won't be going back. read more

LAZY + RUDE. I don't recommend this spot to ANYONE. Pulled up by 8:30pm and they were already closed. Turned the lights off on me and didn't turn them back on till I got in my car. Horrible business. If you are the owner reading this my visit was on Oct 27th. Your business is loosing $$$ when your employees don't honor your posted hours of business. I don't make it to Sunnyside consistently. I have a couple of dispensaries closer to me that I frequent more. If I'm in the area, I always check their deals. Yesterday was one of those days. I was visiting family. I placed an online order for pick up. My least favorite thing about Sunnyside is ordering with someone, that sometimes has less knowledge, and the time consumption involved. The staff was incredible yesterday, and I really appreciated it! They were helpful, friendly, understanding and accommodating. After leaving my license at a local gas, turning around, coming back, checking in. My order had been under a different email. They could have made it complicated. A more seasoned employee began helping a newer employee on what to do if this happened. It was a learning experience, and it was nice to see them working together. read more

I am not one to typically do a review however I received such amazing service today at your Chillicothe location specifically, Kristen (working the front on Sunday Dec 8th). I was so nervous initially to do this for the first time, but you were so welcoming informative, and my husband and I got in the car and remarked how amazing of an experience we had. I just went today as my first time ever in a dispensary. It's now legal for recreational, adult (over 21yo) use and that's the route I went. I'm a trans woman and I was a bit worried before I went, knowing that I had to use my deadname and didn't know if they'd have to call it out to call me up or something. Everybody was extremely nice and willing to answer my questions. They didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all and made the experience a good one. I would absolutely go back again. I will note that if you're using a debit card, it needs to have a PIN number. It didn't happen to me, but I saw somebody else that had an issue because of it. I personally used cash. Also, I placed an order online before going and I think that's probably the best way to do it. They check your ID and are able to bring up your order. Just went there for my first time. got 3 bags of gummy's, 2 carts. But tell me why both of my carts are half empty? i spent over $100. And the carts have delta 8 in them? It doesn't specify that in the product description. If I would've known they would've been half empty I wouldn't have bought them. I will NEVER come back here. I am extremely upset. read more

I've shopped here for years and will not be coming back. Sales reps and the manager would not honor the sale of their own in house product that their website was advertising. He blamed me for not knowing that the first 4 pages of products after clicking on the sale were not included in the sale. read more

The bud tenders are knowledgeable, nice, and empathetic. If you have questions they will answer any you have. Their prices have gotten a lot better as time has went on. I would recommend anyone looking for a good hometown feel, dispensary to visit. read more

Placed order 1.5 hours before published closing time. Received text saying order was ready. Drove 40 minutes to store. Got there .5 hours before published closing time. Closed early. Security guard basically told me tough luck. No text. No call. Nothing to warn me they were closing early. I did not bother to call to make sure they were going to be closing early (this isn't the first time this has happened to me) because no one ever answers the phone or returns voice-mails or emails. I won't be going back. Some of the budtenders are cool and I really feel sorry for them. I wondered why there is such a turnover there though. Now I am understanding why. read more

Worst dispensary I have ever been to. The owner/management is incompetent and should not be permitted by Ohio to hold a license. I placed and order online. Sunnyside sent a text saying it was ready to pick up. Drove the one hour drive to Sunnyside only to learn that they closed early because their "system" was down all afternoon. If the system was down, why did it take my order? Why did no one call or text me to say the system was down and the order could not be filled? All questions I would have loved to ask or alert them to maybe consider doing for their customers. However, the security guard was insistent no one could enter and of course, no one ever answers the phone there. I left a message and I am sure they will never call back. I also sent an email advising them exactly why I will never be going back to Sunnyside or buying Cresco products again.
